The worst sleep I have ever had in a hostel. Motorbikes all night right beside my head and on the weekends loud music that was so loud earplugs made no difference. I laid in bed for 6 hours before I finally fell asleep. If you are assigned room 12, try to change or run away. I can't believe I paid money for two sleepless nights. The rest of the hostel is nice with a big kitchen, but the filtered water was usually empty and I found the breakfast to be very expensive for the area.
Not recommendable at all! There are very nice hostels in Iquitos but this is not one of them! They have long-term guests who made us feel super uncomfortable. One old guy just stayed completely naked in his bed, which is why we as girls didn’t dare to go inside. Hostel manager didn’t show a lot of comprehension. Besides that rooms only have one ventilator and water only worked in one of the showers.
The fan in the room didn't rotate, so not everyone could have a fan, but the staff member did give me the front desk fan which was nice. I felt bad though that he no longer had a fan to use at night! Just get more fans that work! Also, overall it just wasn't very nice, it was very dead, not social, the bathroom was clean but the bed sheets didn't seem that clean, and I saw a huge cockroach! It has a lot of potential but needs improvements for sure.
Staff and location were great, but it was SO hot in the room I booked (a private) with an extremely loud fan that I physically could not sleep with. The room was also so bright, so I ended up using my blanket as a makeshift curtain. Didn’t feel clean or comfortable at all.
The electricity randomly turned off at 9pm and didn’t switch back on?? Water temp was questionable along with cleanliness of the toilets. I was glad to get a fan in my room but it was louder than an A380 and the window was vented and right next to the kitchen so wasn’t very quiet. Overall the hostel didn’t meet my expectations
Honestly not sure why this hostel has such high reviews. The room was tiny and boiling hot with only one fan. The wall is basically mesh and you hear the motos from the street all night, and the restaurant downstairs was blasting music until 2am so sleeping was impossible. Not social and common areas are not inviting.
The location was fairly safe but still sketchy at night as a female solo traveller. The worst part is the fact there’s no air con and only some of the rooms have fans. Was a real struggle to sleep and next to a very noisy road. Wouldn’t stay again
Decent hostel , cold water, close to Belen market. Walter the tour guide the hostel goes through and he is pushy/annoying with trying to book a tour and the hostel is apart of it. Did take the tour but he doesn’t treat people well, tourists or workers. Overall I think most tours are too expensive for what they were. Paid 170 soles a day, 250 soles for ayuhausca one night. The fishing part was fun if you go to the lake, but the rest is short boat rides/short walks. stay in hammock most of day
i didn't like it and wouldn't return. I ordered taxi transfer from the airport because I arrived late at night with the last flight for the day. they forgot about me and told me to get there by Mototaxi. did not feel safe. matresses were very old and soft, the whole hostel seemed old. and run down. would not stay again

Staff is nice, but they are trying to take advantage. The staff comes in at night and turns of the AC, which I think is wrong when I paid additionally for it. Shower is cold, but location is good. The rooms dont have keys either, so your dorm is always open for anyone to access, not a big fan of that.
Good hostel, decent location, kitchen was good, could have a hot shower, staff friendly
Jeder Zeit immer gerne für 1-4tage sehr zu empfehlen
Very basic accommodation Cold showers, hot rooms, bugs (we are in the Amazon after all) Fine for 1 night but wouldn’t stay longer Breakfast cheap but simple Staff helpful and accomodating
This hostel is pretty good for what (and where) it is. The location is good and the building is attractive. I stayed in both a 4-bed dorm and a private (single) room. In the dorm I was very warm on a top bunk - there was a fan in the room but obviously that couldn’t reach all 4 bunk beds. In the private room this wasn’t an issue. I met some nice people and the breakfast was pretty good. I also noticed a very picturesque balcony upstairs

It was a really nice landing spot in Iquitos. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Iquitos itself. It’s a very intense spot to come to after spending time in the quiet soothing jungle but I’m grateful for flying dog for providing a comfortable oasis in the craziness of the town

Really nice place, the common area were always clean
Good air conditioning and clean kitchen. Very well kept hostel, only complaint was that you could really hear all of the noise in the street. Overall had a great stay there.

Top ! Super bien placé, personnel super aimable, cuisine au top, parfait ! :)

This was a good hostel but quite basic, which is to be expected due to its location in the amazon. I shared a private room with a friend and it was very nice, the only issue being that it was extremely humid and hot even with the air conditioning on.
The location was fairly safe but still sketchy at night as a female solo traveller. The worst part is the fact there’s no air con and only some of the rooms have fans. Was a real struggle to sleep and next to a very noisy road. Wouldn’t stay again
despite having paid two extra nights to keep the bottom bunk while I went on tour and it was not respected I do like all of the other aspects about the hostel great location, easy to socialize, lots of foodie places nearby
The Wi-Fi doesn’t work very well and the staff is not helpful with information or anything else. Other than that, it seems fine for the price.
It was fine for two nights, but the rooms did feel a little run down. That said, the people I met were absolutely incredible, and I had a wonderful time hanging out with them in the social spaces.
had a pleasant stay before and after my amazon trip. breakfast was included. I was able to change to a room with AC and i would recommend doing the same as its very humid! I was also able to change the date for my booking to suit amazon trip. location is close to square and with everything you need like food, restaurants etc. would recommend the tour company for the amazon tours at the hostel! thanks again!
