Rude staff with ambiguous rules.

Hostel is NOT nice, not well organized, people are rude, it's dirty, not enough toilets and showers for all the people there, also too far away from city center to walk

The staff is lovely and so helpful, with beautiful energy. They work a lot to make the place comfortable and do a great job. They charged me more than what the site said. The female room is over-packed with beds and has no ventilation. Neither does none of the bathrooms. Plugs in the beds don't work. The owner needs to invest in infrastructure, ex theres a lounge outside with plastic as part of the roof. Doesn't have breakfast included.

Friendly and helpful staff, unfortunately too expensive for the service provided. The guests were among the least respectful i have seen, in terms of noise (switching on the lights, talking, listen to music... in the middle of the night) and cleanliness. The bathrooms were really dirty (the women's one was better tho), I got a bed next to the door of the bathroom so I got the nice smell as well after everytime someone was using them. The dog sleeps on the beds so be aware of it

There's only one bathroom so it can be a little difficult when there are several people staying. The shower does not have good pressure, and the sink faucet's cold water does not work sometimes that you get burned by the hot water. The staff was really nice and welcoming.

Tolle Lage mit spektakulären Blick auf die Berge. Mit Collectivo oder Bus in 10 Minuten im Centrum. Handtuch musste ich extra für 30 Pesos bezahlen. Wasser zum Auffüllen gab’s gratis. Matratze war mir zu durchgelegen und das Kopfkissen, das in knisternder Plastikfolie eingewickelt war, war als Kopfkissen definitiv nicht zu benutzen. Kühlschrank fand ich so verdreckt, dass ich nichts hätte reinstellen wollen. Auch ansonsten empfand ich die Küche zu verdreckt. Personal sehr freundlich,Or...

what a beautiful,spiritual place with so much space and loving energy

Rude staff with ambiguous rules.

I planned to stay one night, and ended up staying a week here. The hostel is in a great location, quiet and a short walk from the center. It is such a relaxing place with many places to sit and meet other travelers, as well as a huge open green space with views of the mountains. All of the volunteers are so friendly as well. Definitely one of the best hostels I have stayed at in all of Mexico!

I loved it there. Comfy, beautiful garden, yoga space, very week equipped kitchen and lovely staff.

great experience

I stayed one night in a 10-bed dorm. The owners were very kind and welcoming, and the evening around the fire pit was genuinely nice. However, there were organizational issues in the shared room (bed allocation changed) and a personal item disappeared from a shared charging area. Staff tried to help but were limited. Overall, great atmosphere and people, but better organization and security in common areas are needed.

Super, y lo mejor es que es un lugar seguro, olvidé mi cinturón y cuando lo encontraron me lo guardaron y pasé por el… se agradece enormemente esta acción!

Wunderschönes Hostel mit familiärem WG-Gefühl, naturnah, reichlich Aktivitäten wie Akroyoga, Ecstatic Dance, Klangmeditation, usw., grosse Auswahl an hübschen Cafés und Restaurants in Gehdistanz, ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuss oder einfache Bus-Möglichkeiten ins Zentrum. Schlafsääle in top Zustand, zudem Camping-Möglichkeit vorhanden. Wunderbarer Ort zum runterfahren :-)

Beautiful place and the staff is great!

I came to Tepoztlán looking for rest and peace of mind — and EKKO Hostel gave me exactly that. Waking up to the mountain view, far from city distractions, was perfect. You can easily spend days in the place itself, but the hostel also offers a beautiful nature tour in Amatlán (with stunning views, natural pool, delicious local food).A massage by Shanti is a special treat, and soon the hostel will offer a traditional temazcal again.!muchas gracias Juan, Shanti, Karo, Ale and wonders Dino & Ch...

The photos speak the truth. Beautiful and peaceful location. Nice caretakers. Clean. Very nice kitchen and lounge area. It is a modest uphill walk (1 mile) from the town center but there are good food spots and grocery store are very close. Enjoy EKKO and Tepo! :)

El mejor hostal!! 💖hermosa energía, naturaleza vibrante, actividades holisticas, temazcal, cafetería, supermercado a dos pasos y una tribu que te recibe con los brazos abiertos. Un lugar con instalaciones sencillas, pero cómodas, con un jardín enorme con vista a la montaña y con todo lo necesario para que conectes principalmente contigo mismo. Simplemente mágico ✨

Hostel trop chill avec que des gens cool !!

Increíble lugar lleno de vida y una atmósfera súper linda. El lugar es precioso Perfecto para relajarte y tomar un descanso. Hice el temazcal, fue una experiencia súper padre que definitivamente me encantaría repetir. Y también desde luego regresaría aquí.
