PanGeea Hostel

I wish I could give this hostel a better rating, but unfortunately, the treatment I received (or didn't!) is the worst experience I've had solo traveling so far. I emailed the hostel letting them know that I would be arriving from Brasov at 11:30 pm by train, which was past their check in time, to which they said was "no problem." We spent two nights at the hostel. The only good thing was the location, just next to Piata mare. The lady who owns it was really nice and helpful but the room was terrible. The room was small. There was no way to lock the door. The cabin shower was moving, I thought it was going to break... The coffee machine and the toaster was dirty. We had lots of towels, and a hairdryer, in general the lady was really helpful but the place is bad. Pay a little more extra money and book a wonderful room.

They had double booked my room (they charged me and opened my room to find othes in it). Came back an hou later as suggested and it was still a disorganized mess with no coordination between staff and me going up and down. On top of that, local friends of staff hang out at reception and just gave weird, hostile looks. Talked to other guests and they felt the same. The wifi code provided initially didn't work in my room. There's zero atmosphere and no attempt to have any by staff. stay at a hotel

I have stayed in about 30 hostels before and this was definitely my worst experience. Very hostile and unfriendly staff, when I arrived the man who checked us in was extremely rude for no reason. I was put in a room with old men and felt uncomfortable, there was a lot of older people so I would not recommend for younger solo female travellers. - Very hot and no fans - A lot of noise from the bar downstairs until 2am-3am (this was on a Monday and Tuesday night) - People smoking directly o...

Staff was already drunk when I got there at 3pm. There is a bar annexed to the hostel so the noise and the cigarette smoke goes all the way into the room Good location, though

Vieille douche et lits sans prises et lumiere. Bruit exterieur. Staff sympathique bar a côté cool.

Auberge pas très confortable. Nous n’avons eu qu’une paire de clés et un casier pour 2. Le casier n’était pas du tout sécurisé (il était ouvert derrière). Une seule toilette et une seule douche par chambre de 8.

Very basic hostel with squeaking beds, no power outlet at the bed, insufferably hot room when dorm-mates insist on closing the window, etc.

The cleaners rushed us out in the mornings as we were trying to cook breakfast on days when we weren’t even checking out. it’s an okay place but has a weird vibe, wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers or people trying to make friends

The atmosphere was kinda weird, there wasn’t a real reception and I only saw staff once expect for two cleaners who often sat inside of the hostel and smoked right in front of the windows. Mostly older men, either not talking to me or hitting on me, didn’t feel very comfortable as a young woman traveling solo. During the night it was quite loud because of the bar underneath the hostel. The stay was okay, but i wouldn’t come here again and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Its a decent Hostel. The Beds are actualy quite comfy. The Hostel is in the middle of the City Center, thats nice. Its more a Place to stay and relax, not escapilly a Hostel to socialise. But its still possible, because you have an actualy fully equiped Kitchen.

The hostel is centrally located right by the main square. Security is good with chips and lockers with codes. Beds could be a little better, but overall excellent conditions. The cleaning lady was friendly and made a lot of effort to make the place look nice.

In pieno centro, con la gentilezza di poter parcheggiare all'interno. Stanza e bagno pulito. Proprietaria disponibile. Il bar interno (Geea Caffè) è forse il migliore a Sibiu: bella selezione di tè e soprattutto le opere d'arte (Dan Valeanu) e mobilio all'interno catturano veramente l'occhio.

Good hostel centrally located in the old town. Staff were mostly friendly but the hostel was quite empty and there was little space to socialize. Reception didn’t seem to be available at checkout, only cleaning staff. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Très bon endroit, central, propre et sympa. Voyageant début Novembre il n'y a pas beaucoup de touristes, je ne peux donc me primer quant à l'ambiance (nous étions deux personnes).

Hostel situado en el epicentro de la ciudad antigua, cerca de la estación de tren y bus. Personal muy amable. Volvería de nuevo.

The beds were good and the shower and big space were great. I just wish the toilets were less rank and that someone was there to check in early.

The location is excellent, very convenient and close to everything. The staff are extremely polite, respectful, and kind, making you feel truly comfortable. I really appreciate their hospitality, and they fully deserve the highest rating. I highly recommend this place to everyone without hesitation.😘

The cleaning lady is so rude omg. Even though check out wasn't until 11 she moved my belongings and changed the bed before then and had such a rude attitude. If check out is at 11, I should be allowed to be in the room until then.

It is a nice hostel. The kitchen is fully equipped! But there was only one shower. But all together a good hostel for some days in Sibiu.
