Waited five hours for check in. Breakfast looked like it was still sitting out from the day before. Restroom was out of toilet paper.

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review so u can just imagine. Firstly cleaning is non existent. It was the filthiest hostel I’ve ever been in. And you could tell cos in the 3 nights I was there the overflowing bins in the bathrooms never got emptied. Kitchen was filthy cos of the horridIsraelis who cook and NEVER clean up after themselves. Dommage pour l'accueil... personne n'est présent même en arrivant aux horaires du check-in et en envoyant un message avant et je ne suis pas la seule... Presque tout le monde à l'hostel à ce moment là a dû attendre entre 1h et 1 journée pour lle check-in. Le petit déjeuner est ok mais pas resservit au fur et à mesure donc c'est premier arrivé premier servit. Vraiment dommage car hormis cela l'hostel pourrait être très bien. Il y a même une machine à laver en libre service. Vraiment...

Fatal. El primer día no pude dormir nada porque dos chicos de la habitación estaban haciendo fiesta. Me cambiaron de al día siguiente, y cuando en la noche llego a mi cama hay otra persona durmiendo. Al no haber recepción 24 horas nadie te puede ayudar. Tampoco contestan al teléfono. Es una sensación bastante fea pensar que no tienes donde dormir!!! Además no hay secadores de pelo en el hostel (con el frío que hace!) Y las habitaciones son muy pequeñas para 6 camas, casi no caben las mo...

Leider war das Hostel super dreckig. In den vier Tagen in denen ich dort war wurde nichts gereinigt, weder die Gemeinschaftsbäder noch die Zimmer. Die Besitzerin ist selten da, aber per WhatsApp gut erreichbar. Man kann gut Leute kennenlernen und das Hostel ist sehr zentral gelegen.

Leider eine etwas unterwältigende Erfahrung. Quasi nie jemand da (an der Rezeption oder allg. als Ansprechpartner), dreckige Küche, Sanitäranlagen okay. Kein Platz für Aufbewahrung in der Küche und mangelhafte Ausstattung. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und eng. Frühstück gab es viel zu wenig, teils war um 10:00 Uhr nichts mehr da und es wurde nicht aufgefüllt. Müsli gab es an nur einem Tag, dann war es leer und kam nie wieder.

In total we had a good stay but the check in was really difficult and there was never anyone there to open the door or do the check in. (And you need to pay in cash) One girl couldn’t even do the check in although she booked a day in advance so we showed her everything opened the door and let her stay in our dorm. Generally not social at all, for us it was nice though had the dorm to ourselves most of the time and free laundry which was great! When the staff was there, they were quite friend...

Gros problème dans cette hostel. Les propriétaires se moquent complètement des clients. Je n’ai eu personne le jour de mon arrivée jusqu’au lendemain midi, ou encore une fois il était difficile de voir quelqu’un pour avoir des draps. A chaque nouvelle arrivée, c’était la même histoire : “j’arrive dans 10min” puis au bout de 2h toujours rien. Donc oui le local en lui même est bien, mais ce n’est pas possible de gérer un hostel ainsi. Ça rend le séjour pénible.

Great cozy vibe, rooms and showers very clean. Limited number of staff leaves you to yourself but when there they where incredibly friendly, great vibe

Such a lovely stay with a great staff! It’s very close to the local pub and Main Street of town. There’s also a good market on the corner.

Fantastic stay! All the services were great. Tons of toilets/showers to use. Washing machine and dryer too. Perfect location! Only issue is getting into the hostel when you check in after the morning. Make sure to communicate with hostel before. Other than that it’s perfect.

Belle auberge bien situé. Sanitaires propre nettoyer quotidiennement. Beaucoup de bruit (route) même fenêtre fermé. Bon petit déjeuner le matin.

Bonne auberge, changement de propriétaire récent. Les + : localisation, personnel, literie Les - : chambre double un peu petite, salle de bain pourrait être plus propre, pas de coin pour chiller

Torre al Sur Hostel was the BEST hostel that I stayed in Ushuaia and in 🇦🇷 Argentina!!! They had a clean living room, dining room, kitchen, bathrooms, and dorms. The staff were amazing! Thank you Milco for helping me with my tours with Rumbo Sur and answering all my questions. Sebastian and Yeison provided a variety of delicious and fresh food for breakfast everyday! Everyone was very friendly and helpful The hostel was close to the boats and shops. I had so much fun! Thank you, Kim Hardi...

A hostel that has recently changed management. A welcoming place where you quickly feel at home. The cleaning staff comes every day and does an excellent job. Breakfast is generous, with an all-you-can-eat buffet available until 11 a.m. You can feel a fresh new energy and positive changes coming, which will only make a stay in the heart of Ushuaia even better. The staff also provides lots of great advice!

Needed to wait 2 hours until someone came to check me in, all while not communication with me on what’s going on Hostel itself really good also with a washing machine so pros to that

Sin duda volvería a regresar. Un hostal muy cómodo, céntrico y ordenado. el chico se la recepción es muy amable y atendió todas mis dudas.

Staff wasn't always there for check-in and some people had to wait HOURS before someone showed up. Cash only!! Cleanliness depends on who's working, the new guy cleaned everything really well but the girl didn't do anything so the hostel got gross on those days. Positives: free laundry & location. Bathrooms were nice when clean. We got a deal on Hostelworld so we stayed for cheap, so all in all it was fine.

very nice staff, cool people, close to the bus station and the main road, kitchen could have more items but you’ll be fine
