L’établissement est situé dans une rue assez spéciale du Pelourinho. Tout le quartier est safe mais cette rue est fréquentée par des gens bizarres. L’établissement est horrible. On dirait que l’on rentre dans les années 30. Nous sommes arrivés à 01h de notre vol, nous avons dû faire notre lit nous même. Les lits sont sales et dures. Le propriétaire est un anglais bizarre. The establishment is located in a rather special street in Pelourinho. The whole neighborhood is safe but this street is frequented by strange people. The establishment is horrible. It feels like we are back in the 30s. We arrived at 1am on our flight, we had to make our own beds. The beds are dirty and hard. The owner is a bizarre Englishman. We left the hostel after 1 night and he refused to reimburse us for the rest of our stay. In short, go your way...
Worst hostel during our trip, rooms are dirty, smell disgusting and were way to hot to sleep, very limited common space and bad price-value
Not sure why this hostel has so many rave reviews! Its well located in pelourinho (although not accessible by uber) but other than that not great. Rooms are hot and loud with dirty bedding, as well as having no ladders on the bunk beds. Common areas are cramped and uncomfortable. Manager was rude to me and seems jaded with backpackers in general (his customers) but female staff are nice. Free breakfast is a plus but hostel is pretty expensive so evens out. Stayed in a nicer place after.

- Hello tout le monde. Je n’ai vraiment pas pour habitude de laisser des commentaires quand ils sont négatifs mais là je me sens obligée. Ça fait 5 mois que je suis en road trip et c’est la première fois que je ne comprends absolument pas le décalage entre la note Booking et mon ressenti. Je ne vous conseille vraiment pas cet hostel, il est super petit, peu de lieu communs, il y a juste une mini piscine super sale, absolument personne ne va dedans et une terrasse avec 3 tabourets , pas de hamacs, chaises confort, rien ! Dans les dortoirs , il y a beaucoup de moisissures au plafond et sur les murs, les lits sont sales, énormément de poussière. Aussi, il n y a pas d’échelle, c’est surprenant mais si vous n’êtes pas un minimum souple impossible de monter sur le lit. La wifi ne fonctionne pas dans la chambre. La Clim débute à 10h du soir, donc avant il fait très très chaud dans la chambre (seulement une petite fenêtre) Concernant l’emplacement c’est dans le quartier historique, c’est super sympa mais le soir obligé de prendre un Uber pour faire quoi que ce soit ce n’est vraiment pas safe, je prelivigerai le quartier barra pour y dormir. On a voulu écourter notre séjour dans l’hostel ( comme deux autres personnes de notre chambre d’ailleurs) mais le gérant n’a pas accepté .. honnêtement pour le prix plus grosse déception en 5 mois de voyage, je vous conseille vraiment d’aller dans un autre hostel , Bon voyage à tous :)
The location is good and it’s clean. They send recommendations, which is nice, but don’t organise any activity. Thanks to Inácio, my stay was nice. But other than that, the woman at the reception is really rude. It seems like we annoy her everytime we ask something, and other guests tought the same. I had bad experience with the cleaning woman coming in the bathroom at 9pm without knocking while I was in a towel brushing my teeth, asking me to get out. Wtf? Never happened to me and so rude!
The owner felt very stressed. I don’t think he likes young people (-30). To a group of older guests he was overly kind, the difference in treatment was showing. Shocking for me was that he said to these guest: Are you okay with having your stuff in your room? Because the cleaners will clean the bathroom in your room now. This man does not trust his employees. I think that is a bit inappropriate... employees couldn’t decide anything on their own either, like giving a towel. But Breakfa...
+ Good breakfast and nice little garden
- We didn't feel confortable at all. First of all, the area is not safe, you must be aware of it. Then, the owner is very rude: he made comments on my friend's body as soon as we arrived. During or stay, we got food poisoning from a restaurant in town and the owner showed zero support. He was arrogant and some other guests told us that he was making fun of us behind our back. He never asked if we were okay. I wouldn't recommend this place for that main reason, plus the staff doesn't seem to be working in a nice environment, there is a weird dynamic going on. I don't understand why you would run a hostel if you don't like hosting people.

One of the best hostels I stayed in Brazil! Only one 10 bed dorm, so you get to know the whole hostel. Very sociable! Perfect location for Salvador! The free breakfast is amazing, and there is free Caipirinha happy hour every day! 100% recommend!

Very basic hostel. It’s okay, but I don’t really get the high rating. Bunkbeds have no curtains and not even a ladder to climb into the top bunk. No kitchen, dirty bathroom and a very small common area.
Super Hostel, mention sp"coals pour le petit déjeuné qui fut vraiment incroyable !!! Personnel très agréable et arrangeant. En plein centre donc pratique pour les visites. Je recommande !

+ Amazing location right in the historic center, perfect for exploring everything on foot. The atmosphere is very social and welcoming, with friendly staff who really make you feel at home. The free caipirinha happy hour is perfect 👌
- Only downside was that in the room the beds or bathrooms could use small improvements (for example the beds were too hard).
+ Paulo et tous les membres du personnel sont adorables et très serviables,les bons plans quotidiens envoyés sur le groupe WhatsApp de l'hostel sont très utiles. Super petit déjeuner,servi tard. Super ambiance,aidée par la piscine et l'happy hour caïpi Les chambres sont plutôt spacieuses,propres et confortables

- La habitación no era cómoda y tenia muchísimo calor ! Creo que es muy chica para 10 personas . Me hubiera gustado lockers para las mochilas !
Excellent hostel & amazing vibes! Great breakfast, clean rooms, lovely social and relaxed atmosphere, great for meeting other solo travellers and going out, loads to do in local area and the staff in the hostel really take care of you, tons of recommendations and advice. Beds were also super comfy and spacious rooms with shelfs etc for things.
+ Equipe maravilhosa, muito atenciosos. Local limpo, organizado. Café da manhã muito bom! Com certeza voltarei mais vezes.

+ Good location in the heart of pelourinho, nice outdoor area with a pool. It’s a very social hostel, perfect to make friends. The breakfast is super, also the staff is really nice!
- Maybe the bunk beds without stairs are a little hard to climb and the toilets are not many for the amount of people… But no big deal!
