Je suis restée trois nuits ici, l’Expérience horrible, L’espace commun très petit , l’immeuble et les équipements sont très vieux. Beaucoup de règles strictes , la cuisine est fermée la nuit, ce qui n’est pas du tout pratique. notre fenêtre de la chambre donne sur la rue et en face de sortie de métro les bruit de voitures et de passants qui criaient chante jusqu’à 3h du matin.
I stayed three nights here, horrible experience, very small common space, the building and the equipment are very old. lots of strict rules, the kitchen is closed at night, which is not practical at all. our bedroom window looks out onto the street and in front of the subway exit the noise of cars and passersby who were screaming and singing until 3am.
My rating is actually a ZERO! Though I was born in the Dominican Republic, I have my American citizenship now, gave my deposit virtually, and when I got there presented my American Drivers License. I was immediately rejected because of it. This is some stupid reason and I didn't get my deposit back! Stay away from this hostel! Plus it looked like crap inside with all types of hobo looking people lingering in the halls and such.Don't go here if you're foreign with American citizenship
Barely slept. Hated the atmosphere and neighbourhood. $10 for laundry…
Not a good place. The localization is really good, in front of Dolby theatre. But are so many stairs there and without elevator, you have to carry all your luggages for a lot of stairs

Ein Bett hatte im Lattenrost ein großes Loch wodurch ich die ganze Nacht total schief lag. Wie kann sowas übersehen werden. Es war leider schon mitten in der Nacht.
Ein Bett had a big hole in the Lattenrost through which I lay totally skewed all night. how can such a thing be overlooked. it was already the middle of the night unfortunately.

Rude, unfriendly staff, like if you were gonna stay for free. I’ve been staying at this place for 4 years, I stayed even during COVID times when they barely had ppl staying. Customer service is something ppl at front desk dunno. I booked one night and when I walked in the guy at front desk said no scooter aloud, last time I stayed he said the same and I said I will fold it a put it in my luggage and maybe he doesn’t remember but he aloud it, by the way that policy is nowhere on booking hoste...

Staff were great. Nice bed and clean bathroom. The Hollywood walk of fame isn’t as an upmarket area as I had assumed, hostel is right next to it and the metro, that is great. Santa Monica beach is a bit of a nicer area though.
Basic and it’s a bed for the trip near Hollywood. It’s pretty cheap and has everything you need. It’s a little dated and quite noisy but tbh I slept well with earplugs and I’m a bad sleeper. There wasn’t much of a social vibe and i probably wouldn’t stay here again.
La ubicación es excelente ya que enfrente tienes una estación de tren, además estás sobre la una de las calles principales de Los Ángeles.
The location is excellent as you have a train station in front of you, plus you're on one of the main streets of Los Angeles.
Lugar perfecto para una visita rápida de 4 días, queda súper cerca de universal studios, en pleno paseo de la fama, arriba del Similandia, tiendas súper cerca, en definitiva su ubicación es lo mejor. Tiene horarios amplios que permiten ruido en habitaciones pero no apto para los compañeros que no toleran sonidos de pisadas o movimiento de maletas, es lo único malo. Es un buen lugar si tu objetivo es solo llegar a descansar y tomar un baño durante tu viaje a LA
Perfect location for a quick 4 day visit, stay super close to universal studios, in the middle of promenade de la fame, up on the Similandia, super close to shops, definitely its location is the best. it has wide hours that allow noise in rooms but not suitable for comrades who do not tolerate footsteps or luggage movement, it is the only downside. it is a good place if your goal is just to get to rest and take a bath during your trip to LA
Gross, smells weird and the bathrooms are dirty and the rooms dirty with problems like lights and plugs not working. The location is good if you want to be right in hollywood but I would limit your stay here to just enough to see what you want.
The staffs here are so nice especially the front desk. I would highly recommend this place and would return next time. Place is clean and well organized. So close to every attraction but safe.
Been staying in hostels the past 3 months and the staff were probably least friendly here- didn’t seem very warm/welcoming. The people in my room were inconsiderate and selfish, deciding to turn the lights on and open/close the door, their lockers, their suitcases at 12-1am both nights. Facilities weren’t the cleanest. But the location right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was good and ease of getting public transport
Get ready to go downstairs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night

This was my second time staying here. Last time I was visiting LA as a tourist; this time I was just in town for a concert. The hostel is pretty much exactly how I remember it and will probably be my go-to place to stay if I’m ever back in town. It’s conveniently located in Hollywood and right near the metro. Staff are friendly and the facilities are good. It’s not the most social hostel but you still get lots of travelers. It’s also a great price considering I paid the same as I did in ...
I’m glad I found Samesun. The location is right along the Hollywood Walk of Fame and just across the Hollywood/Highland train station, so it’s pretty much the perfect spot. Breakfast is free, the toilets are well maintained, and the beds are actually comfortable. I definitely recommend Samesun Hollywood.
I wa an almost perfect trip. I just wonder why some guests don't know what a hostel is. Like why is our roommate shutting the door loudly at least 10-15 times at 2am not considering that the others in the room are sleeping. That made us super frustrated. So in the future please make sure you inform people that they are sharing the room with others.

Everything perfect! quality price and central location in the huge Los Angeles, location in the walk of fame, in front of the metro b, and bus stop, The staff is friendly and ready to help you, the staff is very attentive with the cleaning!

Overall great stay, would 100% recommend the walking tour of Beverly Hills and Rodeo drive, Steven does it every Friday and it’s so much better than a bus tour
Easy check in and decent building. Room was a bit dingier than advertised and smelled odd. All in all was decent quality for price and great location.
This hostel has a great location, it's right next to Hollywood highland metro and has good shopping and food nearby. Staff are helpful and nice, and the atmosphere is friendly. Only annoying thing was the women's bathroom was on the top level and far from my room. I'll stay here again next time in I'm in LA.
