The Venice Beach Hostel

- Hotel nie zwrócił nam całego depozytu. Twierdzą że jest to zapłata za wypożyczenie rowerów na cały dzień. Rowery wypożyczyliśmy innego dnia, tylko na 2 godziny, płacąc za to kartą. Hotel stwierdził że wypożyczaliśmy 2 razy i stąd te opłaty. Kiedy prosiłam o sprawdzenie formularzy wypożyczenia i przesłania mi potwierdzenia, bo napewno jest to pomyłka, kontakt się urywa. twierdząc że jest to zapłata za wypożyczenie rowerów. Nie wypożyczaliśmy w tym dniu rowerów. Nie odpisują na wiadomości gdzie proszę o przesłanie zdjęcia formularza wypożyczenia.

+ I loved the property but it’s a lot of homeless disadvantaged people living on the streets nearby and it’s dangerous. My crossbody purse was snatched from me and I unfortunately was not able to check in due to the purse snatcher getting away with my wallet with all my credit cards and IDENTIFICATION in there.

I’ve been calling and emailing them with copy of the police reports but I have been ignored $500 for a stay that I didn’t get to enjoy because I wasn’t able to check in. A refund should’ve been issued on sight if that was the case. Emails have gone unanswered and when I call I get the runaround.

- There was a big cockroach running on my bed. Hotel requires renovation

- This was the worst experience ever staying in a “hotel”. This hotel is more like a motel 6 with a splash of paint to it. Overpriced, very small, besides the workers they were very nice. The whole thing is outside. People could literally walk by your room window and see you in your room. No real privacy at all. The mattress had some red stains on it not sure where that was from but eww. Wouldnt recommend staying here ever

+ Eigentlich nicht viel. Die Einrichtung war cool. Es stank extrem nach Kiffen. Was sehr stören war.

+ Es wurde kosten für Wasser erhoben in Höhe von 5€ pro Wasser, was vorher nicht kommuniziert wurde. Die Kaution wurde nicht zurücküberwiesen, obwohl keine Mängel festgestellt worden. Es worden insgesamt fast 200€ mehr gezahlt

- The pool area and all they advertise was closed. They didn’t let us know ahead of our 4 night stay. The manager was super rude. We left after 1 night to stay somewhere else.

- Pour la première fois de ma vie ds uk hotel, le lit était tellement mauvais que j’ai dormi par terre !!! Très mal évidemment ! En ayant expliqué cela a la réception le lendemain, ils ont accepté que la nuit ne nous soit pas facturée et la 2e prévue annulée. En réalité la 1ere nuit n’a jamais été remboursée Environnement de l’hôtel médiocre

- They haven’t responded to my messages, and I’m still waiting for the security deposit. Deficient customer service.

+ Das Zimmer war sehr gut. Es war sauber. Die Betten bequem.

- Nach vorheriger Kontaktaufnahme das Zimmer einen Tag früher zubeziehen war es nicht möglich, deshalb haben wir das Zimmer dann per Booking.com gebucht. Ebenso wurde der Mitarbeiter Eddie darauf aufmerksam gemacht das bereits eine Buchung bezahlt und bestätigt war für die 2. Übernachtung. Unsere einzige Bitte war, dass wir einfach 2 Übernachtungen haben möchten. Keine Chance! Die Flexibilität von den Mitarbeitern ging soweit, das wir nach der ersten Nacht komplett ausgecheckt wurden und nach 16:00 Uhr für die 2. Übernachtung eingecheckt wurden. Eine andere Möglichkeit bestand nicht.

+ I like how we could get the bikes and go downtown and I like this ping-pong tables and the pool and spa and the value was good

- I didn’t like that you had to pay for the parking or pay to ride the bikes and it was a little far from the beach than I expected

+ Kids loved the pool. Jacuzzi was scrumptiously hot

- Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and out window didn't open so couldn't dry wet swimwear

+ The room layout was excellent; air conditioner really quiet, but efficient. The room was clean and we loved the decor. Made use of the pool & jacuzzi. Room was 212 (King) and was at the back of the building, so zero road noise. Only 15 mins to LAX car rental. Great breakfast just up the road. Also Italian restaurant close by.

- Parking cost of $38 for one night was a bit steep. Also cost of small bottle of water @ $5 was expensive.
