Hostal Chiloe

Claudio ist nett und die Lage ist auch gut. Aber dass man bei Ihnen im Haus wohnt, ihr Wohnen und das Hostal ganz komisch alles in einem ist, das würde ich schon gerne davor wissen. Die Küche und der Aufenthaltsrau waren nicht sauber. An allen Ecken und Ende ist es zusammengeschustert und die Zimmer sind wirklich basic. Es gibt für jeden ein Bett und weiter nichts. Keine Nachtkästchen, keine kleine Lampe und kein Spind. Es war wirklich schäbig und ich würde hier nicht nochmal über...

Just not worth the money … Very simple hostel that needs a hand and some care. Would be OK if the price matched that. But we expected more from the relatively high pricepoint. Would not visit again.

If I could, I would give them 0 stars. But the staff, or actually the son managing the family property, was trying to be professional and correct. I booked bc the hostel had a super high rating and I honestly have no idea how. I paid more than 100 USD for a shabby room with dirty sheets (with hairs of previous sleeper on it), bathroom full of mould, no possibility of any social life or interaction with others etc. I have no idea how this hostel got a high rating, it’s awful, don’t go.

This place is incredibly dirty. We felt very duped by the reviews, which led us to believe this would be a very different experience. It's almost as if those people are staying somewhere else entirely. We had a private room, so perhaps the dorms are cleaner. We ended up paying for the night and leaving to stay elsewhere, because we didn't feel comfortable staying in the beds. The man who greeted us was welcoming and friendly.

I have Been staying January for 2 days Old building full of old stuff around Beds was not clean it was lots of hair on my sheet .. l looked other sheets it was not much diffrent I don’t think they change sheets every time Hostel Its little good then bad

Achterhaalt hostel. Oud en versleten. Op zich wel schoon. Best duur voor zo’n hostel. Eigenaar is wel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was matig en het brood beschimmeld. De was laten doen en een BH kapot gegaan. Eigenaar vond dat het niet zijn probleem was maar we hoefden Uiteindelijk niet voor de was te betalen en kregen nog wat geld toe.

Claudio est très attentif au confort et au sommeil de ses voyageurs … il est très aidant egalement et adorable. Toutefois, meme si thé, café et chocolat sont a disposition ce qui est très agréable, l’hostel necessiterait un peu de maintenance… il n’y a pas vraiment d’espace commun a part une grande table dans la cuisine. Le dortoir est spacieux. La localisation de hostel est bien egalement.

Only stayed there one night, a bit dirty were I slept to be honest but for the price it’s ok.

Staff were warm and welcoming, and helpful when I had questions. Bathroom and common area were not clean, and on need of some attention and upkeep. Lockers are in common area, away from bunk. Kitchen area looked well stocked with supplies and space to cook.

camere semplici, ma sporche la doccia era piena di capelli e lo scarico non funzionava, inoltre anche sulle lenzuola pulite c’erano capelli per il prezzo potrebbero mettere delle lenzuola pulite posizione buona, 10 min dalla stazione degli autobus e vicino a ristoranti e supermercati c’è acqua calda in una stanza da 6 ci sono solo 2 prese si può solo pagare in contanti

I didn’t spend much time around Punta Arenas as I was doing a long day tour but this was a very secure and comfortable hostel that was easy to get to. Claudio was very kind and helpful each time I saw him :)

No está mal. No nos faltó nada. Un poco oscuro el ambiente pero igual se conoce gente en la cocina y en general el trato es muy amable. También las piezas y baños están bien limpios

This quiet hostel is well located in Punta Arenas. The highlight is by far the owner who is incredibly welcoming and will make sure to help you with whatever you need during your stay! The facilities were clean, the rooms comfortable but basic and there are nice chats with other travellers passing through. Muchas gracias por la estancia cómoda!

Hostel très mignon à 2 pas du centre. Claudio est un amour, super serviable et à l'écoute, il est toujours prêt à vous aider !

La estancia en el Hostel Chiloe fue extraordinaria. Claudio y su familia son encantadores y te ayudarán en todo lo que necesites. Las instalaciones tienen lo necesario para que la estancia sea cómoda. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Stayed only one night but everything was nice! We had late check in and check out and the owner was so helpful and patient ❤️ Thank you again

Claudio es muy amable y hizo todo lo posible para que tenga una estadía perfecta. El hostal es cómodo y limpio con ubicación perfecta en el centro. Lo recomiendo 100%!!

I had a great stay at this hostel! Claudio and Tamara made my stay great and both were very helpful. The hostel is quite central from the city center and nearby shops. The atmosphere of the hostel was chill, perfect after a day of full activities. Would stay here again!

I had a great stay here, it was comfy and nice. Claudio was so friendly and chill, I loved that he gave me the option to choose top or bottom bunk. The kitchen was nice, everything was clean, the only thing I would have liked is a better wine opener hehe. Would absolutely recommend and I would stay here again.

Hostal sencillo, muy limpio y súper bien atendido por Claudio. Su ubicación es excelente desde la cual visitas la cuidad cómodamente y está a menos de 10 minutos de muelle Prat para tour isla Magdalena.

Hostel Chiloe is very centrally located and clean. The staff at Hostel Chiloe were lovely - they checked to make sure I was ok when I was sick and helped me sort out some admin issues.

My stay here was really nice! This hostel is very clean, located in a nice area not far away from the centre. The kitchen is well also well equipped. The owner is also really kind and always trying to help. He helped me a lot with little tips and advices - thanks a lot for that!! Good to know for women: They have a women’s only room, which is very nice in my opinion especially for female (solo) travellers. If I come to Punta Arenas again, I will definitely return to this hostel!

Lovely place to stay. Claudio and family are great hosts and can book you tours at a slightly discounted price. Loved the family style table and the kitchen was really well stocked. No lockers in the bedrooms but there are some in the kitchen. Our bathroom was cleaned every day. Would stay again.
