+ Nothing like there.. receptionist never ready to helping
- Receptionist not help about anything.. Beware of thieves in this hostel My 500 USD stolen From my bag i keep in room around my bunk bed. Everything i explained and I told about her to reception but they not co-operate about this..they did only come and checked luggage of lady.. Just for my advice is beware of this kind of person. They book hostel for stolen money of travellers.
All staff was extremely rude except for one guy, In the morning they were all extremely loud and shouted around the hostel , Construction noises all morning If you want to sleep well, or a nice staff, don’t come here.
TOO HOT TO SLEEP the place is absolutelly hot, impossible to sleep, room 101 [14 bed] has 2AC, 1 is not working [it just works as fan], 1 is positioned on top of a bunker... it means, that person on that specific bunk bed will be very cold and it will block most of the air from the rest of the room. When i was there 29-12-25 the person staying under the ac, decided to block the AC LID to scape from cold [i can't really blame her for that] and for consequence the whole room was extremly hot...
- There were people coming in and out all night long. Although there was no noise from the air conditioner, it still affected my rest.
+ Centre location Clean property
- They don’t trust you I mean you need to give them passport , if you come late night . Front Staff also was rude . Bed was looking old Key of the room was not worked property

+ Staff were very friendly. Close to the city center. Near many restaurants, street food and shops!
- Bathrooms are only clean once a day. For how many people stay at this hostel, I would presume there is cleaning around-the-clock. The room I was in had a foul smell. Due to backpackers coming and going on the daily - in and out, I would suggest the carpets get washed at least one a month to prevent any lingering odor. I wish there were windows where fresh air could be let in. The front of the hostel and dining area are immaculate, but I recommend spending more time cleaning where the travelers are residing. If I'm incorrect about the floor mats by each door and in the bathroom, it appeared they have not been washed in some time. I've been to many hostels for the last four months of my travels, and other hostels prioritize the cleanliness of their facilities. I did even bring this concern up twice to other workers while I was there.

Stayed at Base and loved it — comfy beds, social vibe, and the perfect spot to meet fellow travellers without sacrificing a good night's sleep.
Great location. Nice staff. Very fun free pub crawl would recommend!
Overall, really nice hostel. It’s clean and very good located. However, we were the only two girls in an all men dorm all nights we stayed there and we know there were other girls staying there. The hostel was not very social but again that might just be the room. The receptionist was very nice and carried my 20kg backpack all the way up to the third floor.
The staff were amazing!! All very friendly and helpful! One of the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Southeast Asia! :))
Base was the first place I stayed in Vietnam and I couldn’t recommend them enough. In a few short days it felt like a home away from home. That all comes down to the amazing staff!! It was a social hostel but all night events took place at the sister hostel which was ideal for those who wanted an early night. Highly recommend!
had the best time here!! staff are amazing and so easy to meet people :) great location too!
I really enjoyed staying here!! The bathrooms in the 14 bed dorm were among some of the nicest bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a hostel. WiFi and aircon are phenomenal as well. Rooms are cleaned everyday and staff is amazing. The pub crawl is super fun too!!
+ Great location, sociable, good bunks, safe lockers, room locks
- Showers were a bit lacklustre, also they offer 2 for 1 on some bits from 8:30 to 9:30 and 9:30 to 10:30 but if the bartender isn’t there this isn’t possible
Great hostel. Very clean, comfortable vibe. Staff were excellent at organising tours and transportation.

+ The location was very good and the dorms were clean and comfy
- The bathrooms can be used by anyone and the floor was a little dirty sometimes because people stepped in with outdoor shoes
+ Good

Really nice hostel with super friendly staff and amazing facilities. Did the pub crawl with them and it was a great night
+ Friendly staff! The first hostel of my trip and I felt very welcome! Very social and fun enjoyed the bar crawl. Room was very comfortable and clean.
- Couldn’t always get a bathroom straight away
+ Generally convenient and nice people around.
- I am not totally sure of the advantages of a hostel over a cheap hotel or homestay these days - I realize there is a lot of competition. I think the advantage of staying in a hostel/dorm is meeting other travelers and exchanging recommendations. Otherwise, you don't save much compared to a private room at a cheaper hotel from what I can tell. Still, a good atmosphere for sure.
+ Lovley staff, great location
- They wouldnt change the aircon from 23 degrees. In a big room of 14 people this was unbearably hot. We ended up getting a new hotel

the best hostel I've stayed in through Vietnam. clean, Great showers and beds. pub crawl is brilliant. the room is too hot and you don't get to control the Aircon. but that's the only complaint
