So many bed bugs I even bring them to my house
Personnel adorable et serviable. De très bons échanges ! Bonne atmosphère avec les autres clients. Emplacement parfait. Le petit déjeuner est assez dépourvu.... Le plus sportif est le matelas. J'ai pourtant voyagé en Afrique, l'Amérique du Sud de long en large et une partie de l'Asie mais là j'ai sacrifié d'être au chaud en utilisant ma couette comme seconde couche afin de ne pas enfin ressentir le bois.
Lovely and helpful staff. Very good exchanges ! Good atmosphere with other guests. Perfect location. Breakfast is quite unprepared.... The most sporty thing is the mattress. I have travelled to Africa, South America from far and wide and parts of Asia but here I sacrificed being warm by using my blanket as a second bed so as not to feel the wood. finally
Nice place to stay. Staff were really lovely there. Great breakfast supplied for you :) Only thing was the showers 🚿 just get them attached to the wall. It make showering a little tricky 😆
Had a great stay here, the staff is very friendly and helpful with advice regarding activities, the dorms are nice, great open lay-out to socialize and close to the train station. The hotpot during new year was amazing as well :), definitely recommend this place!

Everything was fine in general except that at night it was noisy.
I liked my stay at Dumbo Hostel. The showers were clean, toilets were fairly clean. I didnt get given a pillowcase with my bedding - wasnt sure if it was a mistake but i brought my own pillowcase anyway luckily. I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm and the beds were super creeky even with earplugs in. However the location of the hostel was really good and the social atmosphere was good too. Pheobe was very friendly and kind. I would reccomend for 1-2 nights max.

Hostel was pretty decent. My main gripe with this hostel was that they allow bottom bunk reservations. Pretty much every traveller wants a bottom bunk!! They should be open to all on a first come first served basis. The bathrooms were ungodly humid and hot. Free breakfast was whatever the staff cooked that day (no choice). I liked the writing on the mirror :)
A nice hostel, the staff are super friendly and helpful and provide lots of local information and maps, room was nice, showers sometimes started to fill up with weather but otherwise powerful and good. Only negative was that cat, although very cute and friendly the whole downstairs smelt of cat poop a lot and we were warned about coming in and out super quickly so the cat didn't get out, kind of feels like that shouldn't be a guest problem when you're trying to enter and leave with lots of bags.
Nice hostel, hard to judge atmosphere as there was a full highschool baseball team staying when I was there ...

a beautiful family run hostel!! the social area is cozy which means everyone comes together and it was very easy to get chatting with other solo travellers. I met some lovely people here :) credit to everyone running the hostel !!
10/10 i have only good things to say! Good location, social and nice conversations over breakfast. Comfortable bed. Also special thanks to the staff. I left my AirPods in the bunk after checkout. Staff offered to organise sending them to Taipei! Very kind, staff helped me to use hostel world to find another backpacker who then brought the head phones with them to Taipei. Would recommend!
Incredibly friendly staff. I had a specific request regarding my mattress which was immediately solved. Also, I got invaluable help for a hiking permit, without it I would not have gotten this far with it. Thank you!

Was here for 1 day and it was lovely :) right next to train, easy to get around, extremely social.
The place was really nice. Super welcoming and helpful staff, a lot of information about tours and what to do in the hostel. It was a more social place (especially because of the breakfast), so it was easy connect with other travelers. They offer even some events in the hostel. The dorms offer sufficient space as well.
Such a lovely hostel with a lovely staff and volunteers. The rooms are spacious and have lockers for valuables. It is possible to book many activities through the hostel. It is so close to train station (a bit away from city center but manageable) and they have the best food recommendations!
I loved my stay at Dumbo hostel! The staff is very friendly & it's super easy to meet people. Also the area is amazing as it's just next to the main station!

I had a great time at Dumbo Hostel and if you are headed to Hualien you should come too! My time there waz great and Chinese New Year Hotpot is one of my best memories from this Taiwan trip! Furthermore, the hostel has numerous advantages, the location is perfect next to the station, accomodation is quite clean, staff helps well for planning activities, they rent out bikes which is really useful in Hualien, and the other residents and volunteers were all great personalities! 😁
Had a super nice time here. Super chill hostel with opportunities to socialise. Main highlight beyond the hostel facilities itself was the staff being super informative on activities and the hostel itself offers a lot of information on places to eat etc. you can also do many activities through the hostel itself which was really handy. Would 100% stay again!

The location is quite close to the bus/train station. Near decent food and 7/11. I can’t complain about the location. The showers and toilets were good. I’m actaully obsessed with the blankets they provide, it kept me warm through the night. The staff were very sweet and helpful. Breakfast was different everyday so I loved the variety. The common space is nice and I enjoy there’s outdoor seating as well.
Clean and social hostel (if people are there)! Everything you need. And lots of recommendations what to do in and around Hualien, it can get kinda overwhelming ;)

Very nice and social hostel, with helpful staff.
I loved my stay here. The staff gave many recommendations on places to eat and things to go to! The common area is big with lots of places to sit and chat or work. I recommend staying here as it’s close to the station and easy to rent scooters nearby!
