Tangiers Hostel

The hostel is well located, beautifully made, cozy and clean. The Stuff so gentle, kind and helpful, the only wrong thing about the place is what we suppose is the owner, for his attitude and behaviour that I can not recommend the place.

L’hôtel attire les clients par un prix très bas, Il est très difficilement repérable par GPS . Si on a des enfants ou beaucoup de bagages , pas le choix que de demander à des porteurs de nous conduire jusqu’à l’hôtel très difficile à trouver , ce qui augmente largement le coût pour des clients qui n’ont sans doute pas beaucoup de moyens. Je considère donc cette commercialisation à la limite de l'escroquerie car ils sont conscient de leur offre.

Avoid at all costs!

It's in a nice location, but unfortunately it's very dirty, especially the bathroom and the sheets.It's also very humid and cold at night.

I felt like I was entering someone else's house. The kitchen was a mess, food was not labeled, so it was unclear what to use for free or not. The central room used for eating is also the reception and was sometimes looking like a computer gaming room. No lockers, it would be a nice to have. No tablets on the side of the beds to put some stuff, plus the plugs are inconveniently placed rights in the middle of the beds. Only 1 out of 3 showers was working properly. Thankfully staff was friendly...

Actually the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The toilets were broken for a whole day, the door to the room stayed open with no lock, and nowhere to keep your things. It wasn’t very clean either. As a solo female I just really didn’t feel safe. Spend the extra money to stay a hotel for this one

They charge more than actually said before. There are no lockers in the rooms and you can‘t lock the doors to the rooms. Unfortunately, also the bed was not as expected.

Nothing special

The bathrooms were disgusting as the literal small little toilet is also the shower. So every time you go in there everything is wet and gross. The worst part was the rooms. There was one locker for all three beds. There was no room to store your luggage. The doors have no locks on them and with the lack room for luggage you can’t open or close the doors. The cherry on top was that the mattress was not only lumpy but all the sheeting was damp so it was a nightmare sleeping on a wet bed

One locker for three beds, no room key. Cold shower. No soap in toilet. Dirty, mouldy bathroom wallls - no ventilation. Bare live wires in shower / toilet. Sticky kitchen table. Wet toilet paper from shower. Bed felt damp. Staff asleep at 11am (checkout time) told us to be quiet in kitchen / reception area. Hard to find, no walking directions from road. Some nice decoration on courtyard.

Excellent hostel 10/10

A really nice hostel, staff are very warm and friendly, the place had a good social vibe, it was also clean and having big lockers, curtains on the beds and a locked front door was great, this place had a higher standard than a lot of other Moroccan hostels I stayed in!

Excellent hospitality and located right in the heart of the medina. The staff were very friendly, accomodating and have created a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll be back!

My friends and I had an amazing time staying here! The staff were very considerate and hospitable. I arrived before the 2pm check in time and they stored my bags and invited me for tea and lunch. :)) They had many suggestions for sight seeing and even taught us some Arabic! Wonderful stay, 10/10 would recommend.

J’ai passé une nuit dans cet hostel et tout était très bien. L’intérieur est super beau et il y a tout ce qu’il faut : conseils, terrasses, cuisine, bon emplacement,..

There's a really nice and friendly receptionist. He's making the atmosphere there really great. I enyoed the stay a lot!

I will come back to this hostel every time I’m in Tangier. Issam made my stay. Every day I saw him helping so many people before he even sat down to eat breakfast. Hostels are all about the people you meet. It doesn’t matter if the bathroom doesn’t always have toilet paper, it’s about the rooftop vibes and the people who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is special. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, the doors lock securely, and the view is the city is unbeatable. 10/10

Welcoming hostel, I only stayed one night and didn’t visit Tanger, but I got served a plate of pasta with the boys and host who were cooking at that moment. I would say the private taxi service they provide was slightly overpriced (450dh/45 euro to go to Tanger Med dock). Could have been 300/30 paid directly to the chauffeur if you ask me.

Tangiers Hostel is a beautiful place to stay in a GREAT location. You get what you pay for as the shower is small. The rooftop view is incredible as well as the staff. Issam gave us the best recommendations around Tangier and was so kind.

I stayed here for the second time and loved it. Super friendly staff, felt a bit like family. A nice hostel that I can recommend.

Only stayed one night in the private room as a break from shared hostel room. Was exactly what I needed. Lovely staff good facilities great view from the balconies.
