The owner is nice, facilities are lousy. Hostelworld description deceptive, this hostel is a few shipping containers with glass doors that don't latch, anyone could walk in. On gravel parking lot with a couple shade trees, a couple hammocks, and a bar. Bathroom like a truck stop with no hot water heater. Other guests also unaware no hot water. Most of the day there is no staff person at all, until the bar opens in evening. When I booked a 2 night stay was required, so I was stuck 2 nights.

Very outdoors the toilets were completely infested with bugs. Hundreds of them everywhere. The showers are outdoor if it’s windy the curtain will blow and everyone can see in. The only indoor part here is the room which was clean but again glass wall everyone can see in. It’s a good location and the owner is nice but it’s definitely more of a camp ground then hostel

We were very disappointed upon arrival to realise we got catfished by the pool cover picture. Turns out it’s not even at the place and you have to pay 200 baht to visit it. Strange to advertise with it on the front picture then. The rooms were clean but the bathrooms were very dirty. The bathrooms didn’t get cleaned a single time during our 4 days and were very unsanitary with a notably dirty toilet. The lock to our cabin also didn’t work from the inside so we couldn’t lock at night.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Could have been slightly cleaner but still had a great time!

This was a cute stay. There were only 2 bed dorms regardless what you book which was a nice surprise but meant it was super small so minimal social vibe. Lovely host, bar attached and such a vibey place but just quiet. Loved the outdoor shower option too.

I really enjoyed my stay here so much that my two nights turned into six. There weren’t too many people staying here at the time but the owner Wen took me to so many great spots and gave many great recommendations like some really cool cafes and temples . He also took me out to hang out with his friends and we went fishing one day. I highly recommend staying here!

Had such a lovely time here. Nice and relaxing. The room is spacious and clean. Owner is lovely and helpful. Paddle boarding tour was great and a must do!

Couldn’t ask for a better host, even when I’m the only guest! Hostel is in a lovely spot right by the river, rooms are really nice too. Thank you Wean for a great few days! Highly recommend :)

I definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Kanchanaburi! Wean makes you feel very welcome and gives loads of tips and possible ideas/excursions and he even invited us along to things he was doing which was really cool. The location is ideal for the train and there are restaurants, bars and a night market all in walking distance. His place is really cool and unique with the shipping containers, with a chill and fun vibe. Highly recommend SUPping on the river too :)

I had an awesome stay and a great time. It’s a small hostel but it has a great atmosphere and offers so many things to do. It’s very cool designed and offers many social spaces to hang out with people and locals. The owner is a very cool guy and gave me a great time and was always there for help or to hang out with 🤟. I can recommend and I will definitely come back myself again.

The most amazing hostel experience with the greatest owner. Wean (the owner) gave us a real authentic and enjoyable experience of kanchaniburi, making it one of our favourite destinations so far. Would definitely recommend !

This hostel will probably be one of my most memorable this whole trip I absolutely loved how spacious the rooms are and how amazing the host is! He was very welcoming and helped me out a lot as a beginner Solo traveller by showing me the best places to eat, drink and sight see this hostel also provides you with various activities like paddle boarding. I can never be more grateful to have picked this hostel thank you very much Wean.

A gem of a hostel off the beaten track. Genuinely one of the best, if not the best, hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Wen is the best — such a cool, funny, nice guy who really cares about the hostel and the people who stay there. We got beers with him, he took us and some others out to a restaurant, and even came with us to the night market and showed us all the best food. Absolutely recommend! Wean (the owner) is such a lovely man, and so helpful! He send over a load of information about things to do in Kanchanaburi without me even asking! Didn’t get to do the paddle boarding, but I have heard nothing but great things! Very chill place! Just an FYI- the shower has no hot water, but it’s honestly so refreshing because of the weather, and it’s not freezing cold water! Also got a free room upgrade!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH!! Such a genuinely kind atmosphere. Beds were comfy af, spacious and open land to sit outside of a night and have food+drinks. Set up is perfect for drop in socials with people as well. And the host is incredible. He had some fantastic recommendations for things to do nearby. Please do book this place! Cannot recommend enough Also if you have time try and visit Sai Yok Waterfall and do the paddle boarding it was really fun

Fantastic hostel, tucked away, clean and the owner is a legend, took me out to a bar to DJ with his friends then for some food wit more friends, had a great time and would 100% recommend.

The host was super friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was very relaxed and the location is very central. You can also book a stand up paddle tour with the host and it was definitely an experience to shower under the sky. I would recommend this hostel if you want to spend some relaxing days in Kanchanaburi!
