+ Location.

- Loud location, small, uncomfortable, unclean towels.

+ Awful. Should be closed down!

- If I could give minus points I would! Absolutely discussing. Had actual cum stains on our pillows, stained mattress where it looks like someone had wet themselves. The room has a window which even when closed blocks out absolutely no noise. It’s not “a little noisy” it’s so loud I could feel my blood pumping to the music the same as it would if I were in the club downstiars. When we asked to move room due to the dirt they told us housekeeping was not available and we would just have to sleep in it. We finally convinced the receptionist to come up and have a look and he even admitted he wouldn’t sleep in there, but continued to remain difficult and not wanting us to change rooms. Pretty sure our next room had bed bugs too. We have checked out and thankfully never be returning. Please, even if you are a backpacker like us, do not book this hostel!! They even caned our booking so that we couldn’t leave a review. I had to contact booking.com directly and explain that we’d met multiple other people who this had happened to and provide proof for us to be able to leave a review… that’s why there aren’t more bad reviews than there already are!

- När vi kom var hade lakanen fläckar och kuddarna var täckta i mögel, vi la inte märke till detta förän på kvällen då vi bara la in väskorna och begrav oss ut när vi kom! Men då när vi upptäckte detta ville vi få kontakt med boendet vilket var svårt, tillslut svara nån som sa att han kan vara där om en timme! Vi satt uppe och väntade och sedan kom han och vi förklarade problemet och att vi inte var bekväma med att stanna kvar! Men han förklara då att vi inte kan få tag på ett annat boende nu på natten så då kom vi överens om att sova där under natten och byta säng och på morgonen checka ut och få pengarna tillbaka! På morgonen gick de inte som planerat, vi fick inte den överenskommelsen som hade sagt utan de enda de kunde göra var att byta våra lakan eftersom den nya sägen vi hade fått var de samma problem med! Så fick ingen hjälp eller avdrag för detta! Så vi bodde där i 4 dagar och var väldigt ofräscht överallt och det var inte alls behagligt att vara där! Sen när vi har checkat ut och satt oss i en transfer kryper en bed bugg över min tröja som förmodligen kommer där ifrån boendet!

- NOISE!!!!!! BE CAREFUL its on the party street so if you plan to sleep before 2:15 in the morning don't even think about this place!!!!

- We would definitely not go back. We stayed in a private room for two people. The rooms are very small, many things are old or broken, and the air conditioning worked poorly. But the worst part was the service at the reception. At check-in, we had to leave a 1,000 baht deposit, which should be returned at check-out. When we handed back the key, the cleaner immediately ran to our room and came back claiming there was a small nail polish stain on the sheets even though we never used nail polish. Meanwhile, the man at reception made me sign a form saying we had received our deposit back even though he hadn’t given it to us yet. It felt very sketchy, like they were trying to trick us. Not recommended. If you do stay here, be extremely careful and never sign anything without being 100% sure first! Only positive was the location (if you want to party, otherwise the music is too lound when sleeping early) Edit after reply from Hostel: When we checked out, the cleaner rushed upstairs and returned within seconds, with a smile on her face, with a zoomed-in photo claiming “nail polish” on the bed even though neither of us wear any. We left no mess or damage. They initially refused to return the deposit, only gave it back after we got visibly upset, and now falsely claim in their comment it was out of “goodwill.” This is very dishonest. Be careful booking here.

- Air con wasn’t working , room was full off water as it was dripping Room was dirty had to be moved there was aunts and insects coming through the window Walls are stained , bedsheets are stained and room has a weird smell

- Beds were filthy, sheets were stained and clearly not changed, towels were old, and we were only provided a small blanket. A security deposit of 1,000 thb was required which was unreasonable for how awful the accommodation was. Staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. All of our questions were dismissed and the receptionist hours were not accurate. We had to wait for an hour because the staff was not available when hours were marked. The laundry service provided stained all of our whites blue and when we inquired about this we were left with no response. They also told us that our laundry would be ready three different times. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with hostels. It was also one of the more expensive places we stayed on our trip and all of our cheaper accommodations were wonderful. Surprised the ratings are not worse on here.

- Kaution für die Schlüsselkarten mit 1000Baht sehr hoch. Das Schloss an einem unserer Spinde war kaputt bevor wir es benutzten, sogar rausgebrochen. Wir meldeten es erst am nächsten Tag, da die Rezeption abends nicht mehr besetzt war. Uns wurde mehrmals vorgeworfen wir hätten das Schloss kaputt gemacht und hatten keine Chance das Personal davon zu überzeugen, dass wir es nicht kaputt gemacht haben. Schließlich telefonierten wir mit der Managerin des Hostels und wurden von dieser sogar angeschrien! Es wollte uns niemand glauben, dass wir das Schloss nicht kaputt gemacht haben und uns wurde immer wieder gesagt, dass wir ein komplett Neues zahlen müssen. Außerdem wurde behauptet, dass man auf der Kameraaufnahme sehen würde wie das Schloss kaputt gemacht wurde, wobei wir zum Tatzeitpunkt nicht mal im Hostel waren. Letztendlich hatten wir garkeine Chance uns zu verteidigen und wurden wirklich sehr unhöflich und aus unserer Sicht unfair behandelt. Wir mussten beim auschecken 500 Baht zahlen. Es kam uns wie eine Betrügermasche vor, da wir sonst nirgends in Thailand so eine hohe Schlüsselkaution zahlen mussten. Desweiteren darf man dem putzpersonal nicht zuschauen, da kein Putzmittel benutzt wird sondern einfach nur mit der bloßen Hand und Wasser drübergewischt wird. Wir empfehlen euch definitiv ein anderes Hostel zu wählen und euch kein so ein Drama anzutun!

- Small room for 2 people - okay for 1. Loud street but okay if you are partying

+ Guys from the mixed dorm were smoking weed so made me very uncomfortable. Woke up on the 2nd day with a bed bug crawling on my pillow so decided to cut short my stay. Kudos to the staff for helping me.

+ The comfort, the silence and the beauty of the place, it was amazing for hostel right jn town

+ It was a good location, privacy was good and good shelf area. Nice roof terrace with a view. Big bathroom and drying area, also good lockers close to room.

- Bathrooms were a bit dirty sometimes but nothing crazy. And sandy rooms and bed sheets a bit old and stained. Toilets and showers on different floors.

+ Que o quarto ficou do lado da escada. E por pagar caro, acho que esse quarto precisa ser mais reservado.

- Tinha muito cheiro a comida e aspecto a sujo nas instalações.

+ Trevlig personal, mkt fräscha rum, bra läge!

+ Die Lage ist recht zentral. Aber Koh Tao ist grundsätzlich klein, wodurch das jetzt nicht sehr schwer ist.

- Hatte ein Privatzimmer. Das Zimmer war extremst klein. Es war sehr laut. Zum einen durch die Bars von draußen, zum anderen durch Gäste die ohne Rücksicht durch Treppenhaus gelaufen sind, oder durch Kinder von Angestellten, die laut im Treppenhaus waren. Zum Check-Out war die Rezeption nicht besetzt. Musste mehrere Minuten auf den Mitarbeiter warten und hätte so beinahe meine Fähre verpasst.

+ Die Dachterrasse

- Einmal ging das Wasser für 20 min nicht, aber dann ging alles wieder :)

+ It was a good location. A bit far from the pier however it was an easy walk and we were around most of the main spots.

- We had an issue with the facilities, no one could come to the room the day the issue occurred so we weren’t able to use the bathroom at all that night. We were told that it would be fixed the next morning. We left our hostel for a snorkelling trip and came back and no one had fixed it “because the sign wasn’t flipped to the house keeping side”, despite all the staff knowing what the problem was. We couldn’t use the bathroom for the rest of the stay and were told to use the communal bathrooms upstairs, despite paying for a room with a bathroom. Besides this issue it was extremely loud at night as it is right across from a night club. The bathroom also wasn’t clean when we first arrived.
