Awful, pillows and duvet weren’t clean and smelled of mould, I had to transfer to their sister hostel and they wouldn’t give my money back, they started charging my friends double, total mess. Scammers

Came here with a friend and genuinely left so annoyed. We've been to London several times and this hostel was the worst location we have tried. The beds are so uncomfortable. Triple bunks should not be allowed. Do not stay here

very rude staff! I follow up question about luggage storage and the girl straight up rolled her eyes, turned away and didn't answer me . her colleague had to come in and answer me it was very confusing and extremely rude

greedy hostel with micro beds.. I'm 1m87 and I couldn't lay down properly not to mention I bumped my head everytime.. some of the staff are unfriendly. there is only one elevator for 2 pax max and it's the slowest one have ever encounter as it takes forever to use ita and no stairs available. location is okay but you still need to take subway for most of the places

The staff was so rude and mean.

The Scottish reception man is slow and rude. Someone - a guy - broke in to the dorm when I was there and when they called the police I asked to move rooms. They accommodated me and I was grateful but then the Scottish reception man started panicking saying he was not trained for that kind of thing. The next day he was so slow to deal with a queue of us needing to get checked out and when I asked him if he could hurry up he made a complaint about me. Clean hostel, bunk beds are fine even tough there are three levels. Not the most social hostel, but close to the park and gets the job done otherwise. Luggage storage after checkout is 5£.

Great value for money. Beds are narrow but comfortable. Slept well. Lockers have a weird system and need a bigger lock to lock securely. Otherwise good.

The people who attend are the best they have, all very helpful. As they promote it, they are a hostel for the youth and there are many children there, it does not seem to me a good place to stay if you travel alone.

Will come back regularly because the location can't be beat! Room was quite warm but all seemed clean! Bit of noise from the road in evenings, I was in a room right above the picnic tables out front and could hear full conversations. Love the curtains and lockers, feels super safe!

Es un buen hostal, cerca de varias estaciones de buss que te llevan a toda la ciudad, conecta super bien, es una zona segura, lo unico es que a mi me toco una habitación en el sótano y no había calefacción, pero de ahí en fuera todos los servicios fueron muy buenos, sin duda volvería 😊

Average hostel, not much and not bad.

O quarto é muito pequeno. Para 6 pessoas, achei mesmo um absurdo. Depois supostamente há 6 cacifos, sendo que 2 deles não dava para utilizar porque tinham cadeados não retirados pelo o hostel e até nos encontrarem uma solução viável foi um 31. Depois claramente tinha alguém que já estava lá há muito tempo, como se vivesse lá, com muitos pares de sapatilhas, deixava as cuecas na casa de banho penduradas, os pertences todos de higiene pela casa de banho, um sacalhao grande no chão…...

Très bonne expérience au Smart hostel Hyde parc. Idéalement située, proche des transports et de toutes commodité. Personnel à l’accueil très sympathique mais personnel du petit déjeuné pas du tout aimable.

the guesthouse was really clean and calm! i stayed in a dorm for 6 women and it was perfectly clean. staff is really nice and helpful but there is not a lot of life (no activities, and the free shared space is only once checked-in. If you arrive before or leave late after checkout, then you are doomed and can only stay at a coffee if you pay. Not a problem, but good to know!) Would still come back!

Das Hostel ist meiner Meinung nach eher ein Hotel. Die Zimmer sind wirklich extrem klein, außer dem Speisesaal und der "Bar" gibt es keinen Gemeinschaftsraum. Die Küche darf zwischen 6:50 Uhr und 11 Uhr nicht benutzt werden, weil in der Zeit das Frühstück vom Hostel stattfindet.

Great location and solid hostel stay overall but felt a few things lacking slightly for a perfect stay. Gave fresh sheets and turned them in afterwards but seemed strange that the duvet covers were already on, since I'm making my own bed I assume that the cover hasn't been changed since the last person. Pillow was arguably just a big lump, I have no issue with inadequate hostel pillows but this was definitely the worst! Otherwise, would totally return, particularly due to location and staff!

LAME and extremely OVERPRICED 👎 It’s a COLD BUSINESS CHAIN. Grumpy, tired, and exploited staff. 🫤 Not cozy at all: You have to MAKE YOUR OWN BED. They only wanna take your money for every single service. NOT recommended to socialize.

We recently stayed at the Smart Hyde Park View hostel near Paddington Station in London. We had the “executive room”, it was spacious and very clean. Only downfall was we struggled a bit with the hot water in the bath/shower as the mixer seem to be not working 100% other than that we could not fault accommodation and will definitely be using this again if in London on a budget stay highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the private room.

We have been to London 6 times and have stayed here every time. It has the best staff. It is in the best location. Yes the rooms are small but you’re not there to stay in the room.

La cuisine est toute petite mais dans l’ensemble très correct pour 15€/nuit

Location is good if you want somewhere lowkey, lots of cafes/shops and short walk to train station but not as busy as city centre. Bathrooms were great! The street is very noisy so use earplugs. The room is tiny with little floor space and if you’re on the very top bunk like I was it’s very difficult to move your stuff around. Beds are extremely narrow but comfortable enough. I was told the kitchen was open 24/7, but it’s actually closed 7am-11am so making own breakfast wasn’t possible.
