Horrible location no idea why it’s listed as Waterford when it’s a 30 euro trip to town everything else was average
It's far from everything, you have only 8 minutes to use the shower, you have to pay to use a towel, no shampoo or gel shower. Was so difficult to find it the location. You have to check out very early 10:00am. I don't recommend it.

Concernant la cuisine ensemble 2 plaques électriques et 6 couverts pour l’ensemble des résidents Les tarifs ne correspondent pas à la prestation !
No hot water in the kitchen or in the sink One shower & toilet for the whole community 9 people during our stay Toilet & shower vétustes the room 2 people do not match the photo, beds stacked, uncomfortable mattresses, large as a closet , all the comfort on the rack !

Very friendly welcoming host, Tom who paid attention to details and even upgraded our room. Only bad thing was it was so expensive. I appreciate Ireland in general ls pricey but it seemed expensive to me (maybe I'm just a broke ass woman from Yorkshire,county if penny pinchers
Très bon accueil, flexibilité sur l'heure d'arrivée et conseils de visite. L'endroit est calme et à 10-15 minutes de Waterford dans la campagne. Ambiance décontractée d'auberge de jeunesse, une salle de douche et une toilette (propres) pour les 3 chambres et un grand espace de vie/cuisine. Tout s'est bien passé. Cependant nous avons trouvé le prix très élevé pour les infrastructures (comparé aux autres auberges fréquentées en Irlande).
The location is quiet and 10-15 minutes from Waterford in the countryside. relaxed atmosphere of youth hostel, a shower room and toilet (clean) for all 3 bedrooms and a large living/kitchen area. everything went well. however we found the price very high for the infrastructure (compared to other frequented hostels in Ireland).
1 douche en 1 toilet voor zoveel personen is echt te weinig. Hygiëne van de douche en toiletruimte laat te wensen over en de muntautomaat voor de douche werkte niet.
The hygiene of the shower and toilet room let you wish over and the automatic shower machine did not work.
This might have been a nice hostel once, but is now past glory. Biggest minus: just 1 toilet in a hostel with 12 beds, which was even located in the bathroom with the only shower. No decent cooking facilities. Noisy, barking dog. Bad mattresses. The hosts are very cordial and friendly.
We had a really warm welcome when we arrived. The staff is very friendly and facilities were okay. The wifi only in the kitchen. There wasn’t much noise during evening and night. So that was very nice. However the mattress was not working for us: we both felt the coil in the mattress in our hips…. The toilet is in the bathroom. We wanted to leave in the morning (check out time 10) so we had to ask people wait for taking a shower.
Rough and ready.Only a single bathroom. Wifi erratic, reliable only in the kitchen. Host, Tom, pleasant.

Absolutely the best experience we could have imagined! Tom’s Alpaca Cottage was absolutely fantastic! Being a former tour guide, Tom gave us the most incredible insight on what to see around Ireland. We ended up staying an extra night, playing music together at a local pub, and sharing stories and tales of our lives. I highly recommend this hostel over and other, and am so grateful we ended up here. Thanks again Tom. And yes, you will see me again 🙏🏻
Clean and comfortable but a bit difficult to locate. A bigger sign is needed. The 6pm check in is a bit late but Tom did call me to allow me in after 4pm when the cleaning was done
lovely plqace to stay and rest, very much a home-away-from-home environment. The host, Tom, generously shared his time making excellent recommendations and helped me plan my itinerary for the remainder of my trip. 11/10, would stay again!
Tom’s cottage was a great stay, very clean and plenty of space in the female only dorm. Tom took a genuine interest in getting to know each of his guests and made each of us feel very welcome! Contacting him was very easy and they are currently working my to expand the amount of bathrooms and beds available in the hostel. I would greatly recommend this hostel!
Fantastic property. Tom was so accommodating and friendly. Had so many amazing recommendations. Location wise, was perfect, not too far from Waterford, but far enough that it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing.
Had a great stay. Tom is super friendly and insightful. The hostel feels very safe and cozy and provides a good atmosphere to meet people.
This is a lovely small house, clean and comfortable beds. Only one bathroom for the whole hostel, one small room to hang out in and tiny kitchen. The accommodation is a 30 minute walk along the side of the road into the nearest country town and a 3 hour walk into Waterford. There are limited buses from the nearest town into Waterford. It was a comfortable stay.

Nicest, most welcoming, most reasonable hostel i have ever stayed in Tom and his wife are very friendly and helpful
We only stayed one night at Tom’s beautiful property but would’ve loved more! It was so gorgeous and quiet here. Tom was very helpful with knowledge of where to travel next !
Super friendly host family. All areas kept scrupulously clean. Beds and bed linen excellent in the large bunk room where I stayed. Fellow guests a friendly and considerate group from various countries. Would definitely stay again.
An sich richtig gut und sauber, aber die Küche ist sehr klein und es ist 1 Badezimmer, wo auch die Toilette drin ist. Es kommt kaum warmes Wasser und allgemein wenig Wasser aus der Dusche. Die Zimmer sind gut. Ein zweites Bad wäre gut und eine etwas größere Küche mit mehr Utensilien
In itself really good and clean, but the kitchen is very small and it is 1 bathroom, where the toilet is also. There is hardly any hot water coming and generally little water from the shower. The rooms are good. A second bathroom would be good and a slightly larger kitchen with more utensils

Awesome hostel. Very friendly host. The nearest town is about a 25 minute walk. There's a small supermarket and a busstation which connects to Waterford.

Adequate accommodation the shower was terrible a mere dribble of barely lukewarm water
