As recepcionistas faltaram com respeito. Não sabem se comunicar e ainda fizeram comentários maldosos quando peguei minhas chaves e fui para o quarto. Elas pensavam que eu não estava ouvindo mas eu ouvi tudo. O hotel fica muito distante da estação de metro mais próxima. O local a noite é hostil. Ha pessoas estranhas moradores de rua e usuarios de d***** nas redondezas. A tampa do vaso sanitário estava suja.
The receptionists lacked respect. They can't communicate and still made mean comments when I grabbed my keys and went to my room. They thought I wasn't listening but I heard everything. The hotel is a long way from the nearest subway station. The nightclub is hostile. There are strangers living on the streets and d***** users around. The toilet lid was dirty.
Fausse alerte incendie 2 fois dans la nuit, le gestionnaire n'a proposé ni excuses ni gestes commerciale.
False fire alarm 2 times in the night, the manager did not offer any excuses or commercial gestures.
My experience in Eklo Hostel Lyon was below the average, being a traveler that have been in many hostels across Europe, starting from the reception first day arriving late and finding the door being closed, they got open with no indulgence and very cold welcome. Then getting surprised having the common spaces closed at midnight even tough it's on first floor where there is no room ! Coming to the hygiene of the rooms, I have found my bed to be dirty, not giving a drap, I had to clean it myself. ...

Se equivocaron dos veces de pieza. Me asignaron a piezas que estaban llenas, y me dijeron que estaban vacias. estjvw hasta la 1 am cambiandome de pieza porque llwgaban las personas que alojaban alli.
They assigned me to rooms that were full, and they told me they were empty. i stayed until 1 am changing rooms because the people who were staying there were being evicted.

The room and bathroom was clean but the bedsheets and the space between the bed and matress were super dirty
Watch out for the bed bugs. The little sods ate me alive!

Un bon hôtel.
It was fine. Very clean an comfortable rooms. One of the people worker there was rude tho and another one coulfn‘t speak english. They say they have s cooker but they don‘t. There‘s like 4 plates in the kitchen. Idk
Un hostel extrêmement pratique. Bon.accueilli par les équipes d'accueil, merci à eux.Les dortoirs femmes sont grands et bien équipés, la literie est bonne. La propreté est correcte , notamment quand les clientes sont propres ( j'ai connu un dortoir très sale lors d'un autre séjour à cause de cliente pas respectueuse). On est proche de tous les transports en commun. Je recommande.
The hostel is extremely practical.Good.welcomed by the reception staff, thanks to them.The women's dormitories are large and well equipped, the bedding is good.The cleanliness is correct, especially when the clients are clean (I had a very bad dormitory during another stay due to a disrespectful client).We are close to all public transportation.I recommend.

Superbe auberge ! Personnel super sympa à vos petits soins. Auberge très propre et bien en terme de services, même le gel douche est offert . À proximité (50 mètres) de la ligne Tram! Petit déjeuner excellent et varié du choix ! Excellent rapport qualité / prix ! Je reviendrai et merci à tout le personnel !!!!!!
Superb hostel ! super friendly staff at your little tricks. very clean and good in terms of services, even shower gel is offered . close (50 meters) to the Tram line! excellent and varied breakfast to choose from ! excellent price / quality ratio ! i will be back and thank you to all the staff !!!!!!
vraiment très calme, vraiment bien insonorisé, à côté du tram et à 5 mn à pied du métro emplacement idéal pour visiter Lyon le petit déjeuner était incroyable !

If you don't have an occasion nearby, I wouldn't recommend. But it is a little far from the central area. Yes there is metro but the way you walk back does not really feel safe at night. Apart from that I was a little disappointed by the place. Because it has the potential to being a perfect facility but it lacks tiny things like hair dryer. And the biggest problem is that it was not clean. I saw hair on my bed and sink and the bathroom. Which is the biggest bummer.
I love everyone there but especially the front desk clerk with blue hair. She is amazing!
Stayed here during a visit to see some friends - easy to find and close to transport networks to get to Lyon city centre, clean and cosy, would recommend

Nous avons retrouvé une bouteille de jus dans un lit et des cheveux dans un autre mais généralement c’était bien!
We found a bottle of juice in one bed and hair in another but generally it was fine!
Perfect apart from its literally a hotel. not social at all. Great for a stop over in a nice city

Das Waschbecken ist mitten im Zimmer, was nervig ist wenn jemand spät abends sich die Hände wäscht/Zähne putzt. Man hört ALLES von Klo und die Zimmer Tür knallt extrem laut. Mein Bett hatte als einziges keinen Vorhang und es ist schon sehr außerhalb. Aber man ist in 30/40 min mit den Öffis in der Innenstadt und das Hostel war sauber.
The sink is in the middle of the room, which is annoying when someone washes their hands/brushes their teeth late at night. you hear ALL about Klo and the room door is banging extremely loudly. my bed was the only one without a curtain and it is already very outside. but you are in 30/40 minutes with the offices in the Innenstadt and the hostel was clean.
Nettes Hostel, besonders die Betten mit Vorhängen haben mir gut gefallen. Es fühlt sich jedoch nicht sonderlich belebt und gemeinschaftlich an, eher etwas mehr nach Hotel. Die Lage ist okay, gut angebunden, aber im Industiegebiet etwas fehl am Platze.
Nice hostel, especially the beds with curtains I liked it very much. but it doesn't feel particularly lively and communal, rather a little more like a hotel. the location is okay, well connected, but in the industrial area something is missing am platze.

My stay in Eklo was amazing, the place is super cool, really cool, the only thing I think is kinda uncomfortable is the distance than the center of the city, what is really a shame because the hostel is beautiful. The staff is amazing too, probably is the best thing they have, super gentile, paying attention to each demand and offering help always. Thank you, Marvin, Mathieu, and the rest of the team, you rock!
