Hang Loose Hostel

Worst hostel we ever stayed at. Be careful when you book a „dorm“, a lot of them are just literally outside. It’s fuxking hot at night, they don’t even have mosquito nets and there are a lot of dogs around so also with ear plugs it’s way too loud to sleep there. We cancelled the last remaining nights, they told us that we will get 50% back, didn’t happen until now and it was 3 weeks ago. We would never stay there again because it was not possible to get some proper sleep.

Dit hostel heeft geen kamers voor de ‘dorms’ je ligt eigenlijk in de buitenlucht. Iedereen kan dus zo binnen lopen en bij je spullen/bed, er is geen airco, veel lawaai en in de nacht is er geen beveiliging waardoor mensen gaan feesten in je dorm! Douches en toiletten waren vies, kots in de wasbakken. Geen aanrader, wij zijn eerder weg gegaan!!!!

Just a terrible time truly. The thing they don’t tell you is that the hostel is open plan, meaning your bed is just in the wide open space on the second floor. I personally chose this hostel cause I thought it would be chill and a good sleep for surfing. It wasn’t a very social hostel really, just a few people here and there, but then they decided to have a massive party on the roof top, which would of been fine but when you’re literally in the common area on the floor below, the vibration...

Básicamente la información que publicitan no es realmente lo que después te encuentras. Alquile una "habitación" para 6 personas pero esa habitación como tal no existía. Era un espacio diáfano, sin paredes entre las zonas comunes y los baños con ruido a todas horas y claridad por la mañana. Además el sábado organizaron una fiesta de música electrónica en la segunda planta del hostel que no acabo hasta las 3 de la mañana. Con la cama retumbando es difícil dormir.

Das Hostel ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Leider war aufgrund der extrem lauten Klimaanlage, welche sich neben dem Bett befand (4er Dorm), ein erholsamer Schlaf nicht möglich.

Nach Monaten reisen in Hostels hab ich viel erlebt, das Hostel war zu viel schlechtes: 4eer Dorm Raum viel zu klein, kein Platz, kein Vorhang, keine Privatsphäre (es gibt kleinen schrank am Bettende aber unhandlich seine sachen rein und rauszubekommen -Handtuch war fleckig und Bettwäsche hat komisch gerochen -muffig im Dorm gerochen+Klima nach Schimmel gerochen&laut Ventilator über dem Bett war kaputt, Ameisen im Bett -Baustelle im Hostel ab 7Uhr morgens mit bohren usw., starker Toilettenger...

Where do I begin…first I got locked in the toilet, then hookers started checking in and WORKING. Then I realized it’s legit like exposed to all elements, just a curtain of bamboo between you and the roosters/street dogs/ announcement vans. Ironically this was also the place I met the best people though. If you stay here, stay in one of the more expensive closed rooms.

Nice place but very hard to sleep. The dorms have no walls so very noisy with the street and zero intimity The beds are to thin, you can’t even move a lot in.

Small dorms, thin mattress, the AC it’s hard to regulate so or it’s too cold or too warm. When we arrived the staff was very rude, a few days later another woman was working and she was very kind and helpful. Not social. Good location tho.

I really liked this hostel! It was calm and near to everything!

Had a very strange encounter with another traveler which the staff helped and sorted me out, staff were great but the showers full of hair, the air conditioning was too much when sleeping on the top bunk, definitely needs some sort of protection on the beds as you are sleeping in the open, music blasting on Friday and Saturday nights till early hours of morning

There was a AC in the room, but it was on the ground. So people on the top of the bunkbed were sweating, and people under where freezing. There was not always toilet paper in the toilets. The water pressure of the showers were bad and it smells like urine in the showers and toilets. The common rooms were comfortable and there was free water.

De douches waren defect. Je lift niet in een kamer dus er is geen airco. Ruimte is smal en omdat veel remote werken gaat er vaak een wekker af in de nacht. Ook hoor de alle geluiden van de weg omdat er geen dier in een kamer zit. Wel water aanwezig.

housekeepers are approachable and accommodating. they always clean the place and even if its nearby restau and bars, its a quiet hostel.

Great value for money. Rooms were cute, only thing I’d suggest Is putting curtains up for privacy. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. There isn’t any events on or atmosphere but there’s plenty to do elsewhere. Good location, everything is in walking distance and the puppies definitely make the stay worthwhile!

I was in an unairconned room which really means it’s the common area. It could be uncomfortable for some especially if it were too hot or raining. There’s far worse places but there also are better ones on the island. If you need some place to stay this isn’t a bad choice.

great hostel

Unfortunately several rats in the room that bet a hole in my backpack. As well there wasn’t any “rooms” just a big space with lots of bunk beds.

Personalen var underbar och location hade inte kunnat vara bättre, mysigt och chill vibe nu när dom bygger om nattklubben. Ända negativa var att man i princip sov utomhus då dormen är öppna så myggorna bet sönder en.

Myself and three friends stayed in a four bed room here on 12th November - 14th November. The hostel has great facilities and is possibly the best located hostel on the island, centred in the middle of town. We moved to Sunlit hostel and regretted moving. The staff went above and beyond helping us during our stay, sorting our bike hire, transfer to airport and even helping get my bike key out of the boot of my bike!
