myPatong Social Hostel

Very disappointed was not social, uncomfortable, 1/5 staff was rude. I had booked 3 nights but didn’t enjoy the location of the hostel at all as I say the hostel wasn’t the easiest to sleep in. I stayed 2 nights and asked for a refund for my third night as I returned to Krabi for a good time! Was rejected and told to leave whenever (obviously before my booking ended). Very disappointed.

Do not stay here there were rats in the walls and in the ceiling. We could hear them run and scream in the ceiling over our beds. Felt very unsafe and gross.

Would never recommend anyone to stay here, we had booked 3 nights and after 4 hours of being there we left. We have been travelling south east asia and this is the most we have ever felt unsafe. Staff was very unhelpful and didn’t try come up with any solution.

Don’t listen to the good reviews of this place. If you’re a hardcore partier and like absolute filth then it’s for you. I was in a 24 person dorm, it was disgusting, alarms going off left and right, you could hear the music from Bangla road till legit 7am so absolutely no sleep. I booked 3 days but immediately left the next day and the owner would not refund me. Patong in general suck so just don’t stay in the patong area in general go to old town Phuket.

This hostel is smelly and feels very unsafe. Looked like the hotel from the Inbetweeners movie. Only difference was that this place charged $500 euro fine for s***** on the floor.

Do not recommend! Bed bugs! Despite being a cheap hostel and a relatively good location, we don’t recommend staying her. Multiple of us got bed bugs and rashers all over our bodies just from lying on top of the beds for a couple of hours, we quickly informed the staff and they were extremely unhelpful - did not offer a full refund, and we were left with no other choice but to pay for another hotel with no notice.

Ants everywhere, cramped dorms, no privacy, cameras in the room, staff walk in all the time, good location, no social aspect.

Far too many beds to a small room..24 bunk beds, very grubby, this is in desperate need of investment and a overall, total refurbishment throughout.. If you like 24 people crammed together, banging music all night long from bars near by,.. constantly being woken up from people walking in and out all night long showering, at 3:00 am and 4:00 am in the morning etc, then this is the place for you.. we're owner changes £30 a night Then charge 3 time this £90 as the new year approache...

WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE IN THE ROOM!!! No space for bags or 24 people to get ready. Good location is the only thing good about this hostel

Only stayed one night and moved due to the bathroom being awful. Didn’t feel clean after a shower. The toilets were either blocked or smelt so bad and they were right next to the beds which were disgusting. Had a balcony but no atmosphere. Don’t stay here

Only problem was the old bed mattress

Ich habe nur eine Nacht dort geschlafen in einem 24 Bett Zimmer. Es war okay. Die Lage war eher schwierig, da es eine Partygegend ist, das muss man sich vorher bewusst sein. Das Badezimmer war nicht so gut. Super starke Luftfeuchtigkeit und hat gestunken. War auch nicht sonderlich sauber.

This is a simple hostel in a great location. A good place if you want to use the hostel for sleeping but really enjoy the social life and nightlife of the area. The location couldn't be better, a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff stayed open late to check us in after a very long flight and they were extremely accommodating.

great location, right on the main road. only down is that taxi drivers get stuck in traffic. the rooftop is theoretically a social place. I just wish they hosted events, as they currently do not have any events. the rooms are clean but there are oftentimes ants that get everywhere. front desk is not 24/7 so idk what happens if you need something at night.

6.1 é ok! no entanto, os chuveiros cheiram um pouco mal. pagamos para ter toalhas e cheiravam a sujo. a localização é central mas preferia ter ficado fora da confusão e longe da nightlife

I got bed bugs here. Nice staff and god location.

Great social aspect and I can see the vision. But take what I say to your own discretion. I was in a room that a bed wasn’t not cleaned for 3 days after use. (Had rice under the bed) But I can see what the owners vision is and all the team are lovely. It’s just currently not worth the price you pay but I hope that changes. Honestly it just needs to be cleaner 🤷‍♀️ but everything else is great

Great hostel with a fun rooftop!

The bed is very flimsy and sequeck it is very dangerous to climb on may be flipped all togather need to be fixed on the wall.

Awesome place!

I’ve come back to this hostel a couple of times now and stayed long term. The main reason is the rooftop kitchen, as a slow traveller i love the ability to cook as well as socialize, the roof is a great spot to meet people and hangout any hour of the day or night.

Good hostel given the price point. The accomodation is very basic yet sustainable.

Nothing to say

The dorm is so nice. It’s like you have a little room in a room.

Ideal location, clean and affordable accommodation. Renovated showers and toilets , the kitchen is fully equipped and i do love chilling in the roof top. I will continue staying, friendly staff.

Fairly priced, close to everything and you can socialise in the sharing kitchen at the rooftop, will definitely return
