Barbieri Sol Hostel

No suelo comentar este tipo de reseñas, pero en este caso sí. No entiendo la nota tan alta que tiene el hostel. Una habitación de 15 m2 para 6 personas, si te toca la litera de arriba casi no tienes donde dejar las cosas sin molestar a los demas salvo que duermas con las cosas en la cama, un baño obsoleto, ni un enchufe en el baño, poca cobertura, no hay ascensor, no dan toallas, lo único bueno que vi fue la terraza pero solo se puede aprovechar en verano. Sin duda una mala elección, horr...

There was no air conditioning in the room. Even after asking several times there was no change. Location is good but extremely pathetic service.

Prices are same as the premium hostels like Generator without value for the price. Good staff, clean, nice kitchen and great balcony:)

El hostel es muy básico para el precio que tiene, las camas no tienen cortina, la limpieza es dudosa, los lockers de las habitaciones son muy chicos, para entrar y salir te dan 3 llaves distintas para cada puerta lo cual es poco conveniente. La ubicación es muy buena, el problema es que las ventanas dan a una calle llena de bares por lo que se escucha ruido hasta las 5AM los fines de semana. Esta bien para una o dos noches pero pienso que el precio es muy alto para lo que ofrecen

Pros: The place was very clean and an excellent location. The one staff member I interacted with was extremely nice. Cons: the bedsheets seemed old/worn and due to its location the noise from the street was loud. I slept fine the one night I was there but that was only because I had Xanax with me. Summary: it was a hostel in a big city in a party-oriented location. For what it was, it was a good place to stay.

The thing to know up front is that every room in this hostel faces streets with bars and restaurants that are busy until about 6:30 am. The only way to sleep is with ear plugs. That said, the hostel is well located for tourism. Facilities are adequate, though why the kitchen is closed at night when the streets are a constant roar is beyond me. I will definitely seek a different hostel next time I'm going to Madrid.

I got a private room and did not like that I could not lock the door from the inside. room was clean but warm enough that I was sweaty and cracking the window open would mean so much noise. wish there was a vending machine instead of having to ask up front for the keys and didn't like that there isn't a 24 hour reception

Estuvo bien. pero había un olor raro y uno se rajo un tremendo pedo cuando me estaba yendo. un hijo de mil buta

Es un hostel pequeño, muy tranquilo, un poco ruidoso por la calle lindante, aun así estuvo muy bien en general.

The place is good, but the bathroom was not clean enough, the location is perfect! The hostel is close to everything, only 2 minutes walk didtance from the plaza del sol!

Perfect ten! The only change I would make is to put a hot water pot and tea and coffee in common area which is not locked off at night.

Fue un hostel muy bien, especialmente el hostelero, Orlando, quien era simpatico y servicial. Perfecto allí. Los males fueron 1) que la cama no tenia ninguna repisa y 2) que mi cerradura fue demasiado grande para el mecanismo. El secundo no era problema para mi, porque Orlando me dio otra cerradura mas pequena.

The staff is amazing and the rooms are very nice. Comfortable beds, good showers, great terrace. Located on a very nice street near Sol which makes it easy to get anywhere in the city. Overall it was a perfect experience.

Once we got to the place, Fabio was awesome. He provided all details and also helped us get comfortable. He was very kind and approachable. We had a great stay and it was right in the middle of happening party place. We loved and enjoyed our stay. Thank you Fabio and team for your hospitality.

Not really a party hostel but its in the center of the city and is within walking distance of all major attractions.

En un lugar cálido, con excelente atención, buenos servicios, una ubicación inmejorable y la mejor predisposición por parte de los dueños. lo recomendaría totalmente y volvería sin pensarlo. Pude ser amigos con los que compartí parte de un viaje en el que fui solo y me gustó mucho la terraza.

Excelente ubicación y personal amable. Los cuartos son pequeños y mixtos, pero su relación calidad precio está muy bueno

Excelente hostel. De los que mas me gustó. Ideal para descansar, es silencioso aunque esté en una calle con muchos restaurantes, limpio y cómodo, la atención excelente, son muy amables y la ubicación también! Muy cerca de gran vía y calles llena de restaurantes y bares para sentarse a comer. Algo para saber que no sé si está aclarado es que no tiene ascensor, son dos pisos por escalera, nada grave pero para tener en cuenta y saberlo. Lo súper recomiendo
