Green Heart Hostel

Had bed bugs in the private room. Unfortunately I discovered them too late so I am now dealing with loads of itchy bites and trying to keep them out of my home.

Worst bed I’ve ever slept on. Stayed in the private room and it was super noisy at night, at the bed was warped and stiff. Ruined my trip to Lisbon, didn’t really sleep at this location.

It looked fine, until a woman in the room found/caught bed bugs and reception were negating it. I felt itching that morning and asked to change the room. Later, the receptionist said they "didn't find any" BUT they changed the sheets and sprayed the mattress and I can "use it again". IF they did spray it will be toxic. Bites were now showing, showed evidence and finally the manager accepted and that they cannot do anything about it, and that it happens in hostels. So BED BUGS are normal here.

Experiência desastrosa. O hostel estava nojento de tão sujo; corredores e banheiros extremamente estreitos e pequenos, pareciam cubículos. Presenciei um homem se masturbando no banheiro compartilhado com a porta aberta. Quando relatei ao hostel obtive a seguinte resposta: "Num hostel e onde as casas de banho são compartilhadas podem existir situações desagradáveis." Lamentável. Não indico em hipótese alguma.

the property is a very homey type of hostels, friendly staffs there gives good vibes. nothing fancy and luxuries there but everything you need is there ! Comparative it is more silent area you could get good sleep without noice from pub. Super good for traveller like to cook to save in long travel

I was applying for a private room, turned out to a rooftop room with a minimum space, even to go to the bed, you have to mind the wall above your head. The advertised room I have booked for was looking much bigger. Now, if it's the receptionist who did it for a purpose to give me the smallest 5th floor room, somebody has to react. Apart from that, two shitty guys from Netherlands are occupying the 1st floor kitchen and varanda constantly.. And they are antipathic.

The facilites are not what they promote on hostel world, pictures are not accurate. The room was the size of a closet and very hot. Mine was right in front of the staircase so impossible to sleep. At 4am people were still coming in ant out of the hostel and banging their doors. One of the 2 bathrooms on my floor was out of order and the other one had 2 inches of water on the floor, I almost felt when I got in. I stayed there for one night even if had booked and paid for 4 nights.

Originally it appealed to my ideals, stating that they are ecologically aware, that is complete GREEN WASHING. absolutely nothing is “eco” about the place. At 9am bathrooms on each floor were being serviced, needing to put in my contacts and brush my teeth as I had a business appointment, I quickly went to the sink that was not being cleaned, only to be yelled at and PUSHED by the staff member! I had some words with her and when I told the desk man, he disregarded it as my fault and was rud...

Flight delayed 2hrs, staff refused to check me in, leaving me homeless, they eventually gave the key to staff who showed me the cupboard under the eaves in the loft where you couldn't stand up, there was no blind & walls were paper thin. This was my room! After booking an expensive private room 2 months in advance, I was shocked. I was then woken up at 7am by literally smashing doors that gave me a shock by staff 'cleaning' & guests. The doors are not fit for purpose & there is no social space.

Personnel désagréable et complètement malhonnête. Alors que je suis arrivé avant minuit à l'hôtel, heure à laquelle est censée fermer la réception, je n'ai trouvé personne et mes appels téléphoniques sont restés sans réponse. Je n'ai donc pas pu gagner ma chambre et j'ai dû chercher un autre hébergement en pleine nuit. Le lendemain, le responsable a refusé de me rembourser ma nuit et s'est même permis d'être infect.

Muy gentiles la gente de recepción! Limpio ordenado y seguro...wifi bien...ubicación muy buena! Pocos baños y duchas!

Only stayed one night, but I wish I stayed for longer! Big kitchen, spacious bathrooms, large lockers, everything I could ask for. Roma at reception was exceptional, immediately made me feel at home and comfortable. Would highly recommend :)

Wonderful stay. I’ll be back next month.

Top 2 of the hostels I’ve been too, exceptional kitchen and pantry, I like the showers there’s a room all to yourself with a toilet and sink if no one is using it on each floor. Staff was very nice. Hard to beat for the price, laundromat next building over. Location could be better. It’s not the best party hostel but if you want easy going with reliable accommodation this is pretty good place.

Overwhelming kind and generous staff! They made me feel so welcomed, gave me lots of local recommendations, and even let me keep a book from their library so I could finish it! The beds were very nice and the hostel is in the perfect location! I would 100% stay here again!

Functional kitchen. Clean bathroom. The room does not have a heating system. But there was no need for heating at the beginning of March. Good duvet was available. I rented a private double room for one night with shared bathroom facilities.

was overall good there was no hostel atmosphere to be social but it was okay safe and clean, the only thing is that the rooms were cold because there was no heater at hostel it was a problem for me in winter

Colchão um bocado desgastado já, cama de casal tinha um colchão bom e outro ruim... O chuveiro da casa de banho era bastante apertado e precisava de limpeza, assim como os vidros que também podiam estar mais bem limpos.

I’ve stayed in many hostels and this was by far the best one I’ve ever stayed in. It’s in such a convenient location. Everyone who works here is so lovely and nice. The bathrooms were your typical hostel bathrooms but I really loved the beds. They were more comfortable than my beds at home. There is also luggage storage on days that you’re departing so it’s very convenient. I cannot recommend this hostel enough!!

Clean, friendly & modern hostel. Stayed in the 4 bed dorm next to the kitchen, quite noisy during the day time but most people were respectful during the night time, so minimal interruption. Overall, happy with my stay & would definitely recommend.

Buena estancia en general. La cama cómoda y privada, la cocina y el comedor en buenas condiciones y con utensilios y el ambiente bueno.

The location is quiet as is the hostel but be forewarned there is NO HEAT, which can make the rooms incredibly cold on a damp winter night. I couldn’t really sleep the first evening because of it. Bathrooms are cleaned just 3 times until 4pm and not again until the next day. With only two toilets and two showers per floor you can get guess they get A LOT of use and are quite wet. It would be lovely to see the floor mats and kitchen sponge replaced more often.

Für eine Nacht ok, aber nicht für einen längeren Aufenthalt. weiter weg von der Stadt. es stinkt sehr in den räumen, die toiletten und duschen werden nicht richtig sauber gemacht. es gibt kaum räumlichkeiten zum entspannen. keine atmosphäre zum zusammenkommen.

Abgesehen das Lappen, Schwamm und Abtrocktücher stanken war alles super. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
