+ receptionist gave us a room we didn’t book from the pictures. toilet horrible, beds blankets dirty. one coockaratch in the bed. The owner only talk to you to try to sell you things. no asking about your comfort or if the room os okay. then staff hanging out smoking weed outside while all their smoke coming from Windows. shit place!

- Забронировал номер, по приезду предлагают оплатить в два раза дороже. На ресепшене сразу было видно проблемы отеля, так как ругались с постояльцами другими. Мы ушли, не выясняя проблем. Потом писал мне не оставлять плохой отзыв, так как это навредит его бизнесу. Слушай дорогой, ты худший отель в Непале. Непал прекрасный, твой отель полное дно!!!

- ベッドに備えてあった毛布がとても臭かった。 トイレが清潔でなく臭い。 チェックアウトした日から2日後にbooking.comから予約がキャンセルされましたとメールがきて宿泊したかどうか問い合わせはがあって無駄な時間を取られた クチコミにも同じような事案が書いてあったので操作のミスでなく意図的だと思うわれる 手数料を払いたくなかったらbooking.comに登録するなよ。
- Забронированный мной одноместный номер был занят, вместо этого мне предложили номер в общежитии без возврата разницы в цене. Мою просьбу отменить бронь администратор проигнорировал.
+ I liked nothing, I just had to stay there because I had no options.
- First of all, I booked a single room but instead of that I got a 4 bed dorm and the reason being those single rooms were already packed and inspite of that, they charged me more than the price of the single room for that dorm, once again, not even the same price as shown online and I was literally staying in the dorm, besides that I don't have much idea cuz I was out most of the time and returned there only at night.
The hostel was really unhygienic and the workers were not friendly.

- Brudno, pokoje koło kuchni i łazienki na samym dole są okropne, w łazienkach zawsze jest brudno, nie ma papieru. Hałas do północy, od rana za to słychać wszystko z kuchni i łazienek.

Garden House was amazing! The most helpful and friendly staff! Such a relaxing place to stay! The rooms are cozy and clean, the balcony overlooks beautiful rice fields. The staff was helpful in booking me an affordable safari through the hostel and had everything planned for me! It was so fun and we saw many rhinos! I would 100% recommend anyone to stay here

heerlijke plek om te landen. Babu is zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam! door hem kwam ik goed terecht bij eerste bezoek aan Nepal. zijn gevleugelde woorden zijn"this your home now" en zo voelde het ook echt

- It was OK for what it was. If you need to stay for one night before the bus departure, fine option. For solo female travelers: I felt OK, not good. Was able to lock the door. Take a flashlight (use phone) with you as small road to the guest house has no light sometimes. It was very noisy and many people outside, I woke up at 3am to laughter.

Great place to stay if you’re looking for a quieter hostel. Not a lot of chitchat with the other travellers, but the staff was amazing. Babu helped plan a lot of the outings and was very knowledgeable about all the things a traveller should try to see while in Nepal. Thank you to the staff for the hospitality. Will def visit again when in Kathmandu
We had a wonderful time at My Garden House. Babu and the rest of the staff were very kind and made us feel at home. They were helpful with information and called us a taxi when we could not access the app. The location is right next to Thamel, nevertheless very quirt. The breakfast was lovely. The price can’t be beaten. I was here with my daughter and we both totally recommend the place.

The best hostel I ever stayed in. Friendliest staff, nice atmosphere, quiet place. Really lovely!
Highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Kathmandu. It is very affordable for the service received. The guest house is just outside Thamel, with a nice garden that allows an escape from the craziness of Kathmandu. The owners are extremely helpful. They helped arrange flights, trekking, gear, buses etc for me. The food is also is excellent and very affordable. I stayed here before and after my trekking in Annapurna, because I liked it so much!
Had an awesome stay at my garden house before and after trekking. I definitely recommend it. Babu the owner is so helpful and accommodating for any of your needs, especially with info about treks and prices. And the staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces and greet you like you’ve known them for a long time. I stayed in the dorm room and the beds and cleanliness were just okay, the bathroom was okay (hot shower was a plus), but for the price it was awesome
Stay was great, safe and quiet even though in Thamel. Lovely breakfast and service by Babu, he was very helpful in helping us out in planning the trek. Even cooked breakfast at 6.30 and sent us to the bus stop, without us asking. 11/10 recommend
