Messy, dirty and what's going on with bunk beds with 3 floors and the top one has no mattress stopper or anything to hold on to on the way down from there. Furthermore, they won't take into account whether you can physically get up and down from there. Bad when you don't have any influence on which bed you are assigned.

Unfortunately I can’t recommend this hostel. The rooms are smelly. I booked a room with a bathroom which is a bit more expensive than the others. But this room has no window and no lockers in the room. So I got a room with a small window and locker. But the smell in this room was as bad as the other one. Also the fridge smells really bad. There was not much water coming in the shower. Gate is not locked at night and the room has no key. Girls who worked there were very nice and tried their bes...

Très bonne ambiance! Par contre, l’ensemble des services pour lesquels nous avions choisi l’établissement n’y était pas. Pas de laveuse, de déjeuner, de cours de yoga… Il faisait une chaleur dans nos chambres et il ne faut pas être claustrophobe. Douche froide uniquement, quoi que nécessaire avec la température. Il y avait des travaux dès les petites heures du matin. La porte extérieure était cassée et pas moyen de fermer la porte de notre chambre… Le personnel très agréab...

I think it’s the worst hostel I’ve been in my life… The bed was full of sand when I arrived. The prices charged upon arrival were higher than those indicated on Hostelworld. It’s overpriced for what it offers, considering: There’s no hot water in the showers. The showers were filthy. The room smelled moldy. There’s no central light in the room, only in the capsule, forcing you to climb onto the bed to see anything. Limited space to change if you're looking for privacy

They don’t give towels and the rooms are very cramped with no windows

Ridiculously overpriced. Most regretted hostel. No social atmosphere. Not clean

Rooms and pods are tiny. Sheets are thin, bobbly and stained. There’s no lights out/quiet time with singing and screaming until 2am - If you would like to sleep do not stay here! Staff are friendly. Defo overpriced for what you get.

Not great. Zero vibe at this hostel.

Honnêtement je comprends pas pourquoi cet auberge a une aussi grosse côte. Pas de piscine, pas d’eau chaude pour se laver. Ils rentrent dans votre chambre le matin à 8h pour fermer l’air climatisé. C’est minuscule, les dortoirs aussi. C’est désuet, frigo trop petit et manque d’équipements dans la cuisine. Je ne recommande pas du tout

Hatte mir ehrlich gesagt mehr erwartet wegen der guten Bewertungen. Es erfüllt seinen Zweck, aber die Matratzen waren dünn und unbequem. Die Klimaanlage war zu kalt eingestellt und es gab kaum gemütliche Chill-Möglichkeiten. Auch die Küche war schwach ausgestattet (nur Salz und Öl). Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt reicht es, aber mehr nicht.

Hostel war super angenehm, sauber und sicher. Allerdings waren die Zimmer sehr eng. Wir konnten in unserem Bad nicht duschen und keine Zähne putze, da sehr wenig Wasser kam. Ein Mitarbeiter konnte nicht so gut englisch, aber man konnte sich verständigen :)

Friendly atmosphere but the dorms and beds are absolutely tiny! When people are coming and going drunk it becomes very disruptive because of the tiny size of the room - someone also drunkenly knocked my curtain down when I was sleeping which wasn’t great. More of a party hostel than calm hostel which I was not expecting.

During my stay, this hostel was mainly visited by people younger than 22. The dorms are really too small to be comfortable in, there was no space to have the backpack in the room. Hygiene and cleanliness were poor (chewing gum sticked on the beds), the garden was not well equipped either (one hammock, 6 partly broken chairs, only benches). I can’t recommend it.

During my stay the staff that worked there was incredibly welcoming and helpful! The AC in the room was amazing, except didn't work one of the nights I was there, and some people said it can be a hit or miss. Plenty of fridge, cooking and hanging out space!

Comfy beds, decent breakfast. The one thing that bothered me was that the wall between the bathroom and the dorm was not built all the way to the ceiling which made the dorm a little bit uncomfortable.

Ganz nett, aber die Mitarbeitenden sind bisschen verpeilt. Sie hatten nicht am Schirm, dass wir schon angezahlt hatten und haben uns das dann zu viel abgebucht. Also darauf achten! Außerdem ist der Raucherbereich im Zentrum vom Gemeinschaftsbereich deswegen riechts überall

An amazing hostel. The accomodations were very comfortable and the volunteers were very cool. The location of the hostel is very near to the best beaches and best clubs.

Very chill and good atmosphere, and nice location. Almost always a little music playing, and a very sweet and calm dog, loved her! Simple, but has everything you need. Will definitely book her again if I’m ever back in Santa Teresa

Room is a little cramped but I was on the bottom bunk which made life significantly easier. Nice place

I had a real good time in akhi pods nice poeple,easy to make friend and the dorm are super confortable!

This is fine for a cheap stay. A/c is nice to have but after it turns off in the morning I felt like I was sweating in a coffin. Individual fans like they have at other places would help. The rooms are far too narrow and there is not enough space for your bags. Also there is only 2 showers for the whole hostel so you have to wait sometimes. The gate was broken at the front so when I came home after a night out it was wide open, which felt a little unsafe as the dorms don’t lock.

Great hostel. Very outgoing vibe which is great. You are a 3 minute walk from the best bars and clubs in santa Teresa. Do check how much they charge you at the hostel for the night because it might be a bit more expensive. (could have been an honest mistake and it wasn’t much)

Great AC in the bed rooms. It’s a 10 min walk to the main area of Santa Teresa. Staff was great. We had a couple of fun outings as a hostel. Overall a solid place to stay!

Muy buen hostel. En Akih tuvimos una experiencia muy agradable: el personal es amable, las instalaciones están limpias y se genera un muy buen ambiente entre los huéspedes. Sin duda volvería!
