These people are thieves. I forgot my earphones at reception and they kept them. Never replied to my messages. Don't come here!

I booked it and when I arrived they were full. So I had to find another place myself, they didn't offer to help and I am still waiting on the refund. Won't book again and there are much smaller und more personal and friendlier places all around la candelaria.

Très très bonne localisation, personnel très sympathique. Les chambres dortoirs sont très bien. L’auberge est agréable. Seulement durant notre séjour pas d’eau chaude dans les douches et coupure d’électricité dans notre chambre pendant 24h.. malheureusement c’était un dimanche donc pas de possibilité d’intervention d’un électricien.

The manager/boss are really not good.they put formic acid ,pesticides and toxic chemicals on my bed,in common area,on faucets,in water tank.pour them on stove. They arranged many people pretend to be guests watch me and poison me. Really not good,not recommend.

If I could rate this hostel lower I would. When I showed up, I paid for five nights and then said there was no water. I had to go to Viajero instead. Check to make sure they have water before you pay for this place. They had me pay for five nights and then told me afterward! Didn’t give me a refund! Terrible experience w/ Masaya in Bogata but Minca and Medellin are great!

Aside from the hostel being about average with no atmosphere the entire time I was there, the main reason for the low rating is I decided to check out early and was told I couldn't get a refund for the days i paid for but didnt use. Staff did their basic job but wasn't exceptionally outgoing.

They put a family with little kid in the dorm I was in. Didnt get any sleep because of the jelling of the kid during the night. Don't get why they allow such small kids in dorms???

En la habitación compartida habia una pareja que tenia sexo molestando los demas a medianoche como a las 6 de la mañana, señale eso a la recepción y la chica se me puso a reir en la cara. En lugar de preocuparse que los huéspedes se respeten unos a otros y que pasen un buen estadía te rien en la cara al señalar un problema. Ubicación y limpieza ok

no quiet space anywhere. no activities, no good atmosphere... just people spending time alone & speaking loudly on the phone for hours on end. staff were friendly but that was the only highlight.

Great place to stay in Bogota. The hostal is not too big, easy to meet other travelers, clean, the beds are comfortable and right in the La Candelaria neighborhood. There’s a kitchen, but the kitchen tools are limited , so I ended up eating out most of the days. All in all a good place to stay when you’re in Bogota.

Très bien situé dans la Calanderia, centre et autres quartiers facilement accessible à pied. Douche chaude et dortoirs propres.

I really liked staying at Masaya Bogotá. The rooms and the common areas are very nice. I didn’t like that the main entrance was always open, so technically anyone would have been able to walk in.

Super auberge

Capsule beds offer great privacy, and the dorms have their own bathrooms. Everything is very clean, and there’s a kitchen available for cooking. Free hot drinks are provided daily from 7–11am, and the common areas are nice. However, the staff doesn’t speak English, and the hostel is easily accessible from the outside in a not-so-safe area.

Overall, great experience. Amazing part of town, very walkable and lots of great little hubs to experience.

Really good functional clean safe pretty. Just a bit quiet - but more of a peaceful haven than a party place so worth just being intentional about choosing that

Insgesamt sehr entspannt. Sauber und kostenloser Kaffee!!! Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great hostel at great location in Bogota

My favorite hostel in Bogota! Hostel was clean and beds were good. The best part of the stay was the staff, they are friendly and extremely helpful( especially Paula :) ).

Really nice hostel to rest and socialise a bit. Dorms are really confortable and the curtain and the little cabin inside the bed is really a plus ! Clean, nice, good neighbourhood.

Great all-round hostel. The staff make the hostel what it is, as well as its location. It isn't the most social place, so if you are looking for something like that, go to one of the other more socially oriented hostels in La Candelaria. There is a large amount of people doing laptop work and all that, which is what the hostel is well-equipped for. Free coffee is nice, and the patio/all of the hostel is quite tranquil and silent at night.

Very impersonal experience. Lacks comfortable common areas. Relatively clean, nice showers. Lots of young travelers seem to stay here so it can get a bit rowdy over the weekend.

Les chambres sont vraiment top : grand casier, lit. Joli bâtiment. Mais la cuisine n'est vraiment pas top et le frigo ne fonctionnait pas.

Best Hostel so far when it comes to enviroment and people. Location is great too
