Mad Monkey Hoi An

Lost my cloths items and gave me a small sum so I’m just annoyed.

Next to my pillow were boogers on the Wall, the staff handed me a toiletpaperroll to clean it, my friend had a used snus on the nightstand in the bed. Woke up from people having s** in the dorm, used condom in the room afterwards. Using the bathroom in the Morning was awful as every singe toilet was full of different kinds of bodily fluids. As everyone in this Hostel is completly drunk or hangover no one seems to care

Could be a lot better, probably one of the worst mad monkeys I’ve been too, and I’ve been to near enough all of them. Certain reps were good, but others leave something to be desired. Sometimes it looked like they couldn’t even organise a piss up in a brewery. Drinks are overpriced, might aswell be in Europe. In fact I think a Wetherspoons would be cheaper at some points.

When we arrived we could not check-in to room till 6pm, because they had to ‘deepclean’…. After one night of sleeping we saw bedbugs in our bed, so in the middle of the night we had to move to a different hotel. They helped us with the laundry, but we only got a refund for the money that they receive from Hostelworld, so not a full refund of what we paid. Would not recommend!!!!!

Online wordt deze plek aangeraden maar hieronder lees je de tips waarheid. Het hostel vond het een goed idee om hun brakke airconditioning recht boven de bedden te plaatsen. Zodat je na een lange dag terug kon komen in je armoedige kamer met een nat bed en natte kleding die helemaal onder gelekt was. Dit gebeurde twee dagen achter elkaar, helemaal klaar mee met dit kut hostel. Qua faciliteiten is dit per definitie een kut hostel.

Frat boy vibes… couldn’t get one good night of sleep there because some drunk idiot that hasn’t been socialized properly slams a door or has a conversation „screaming“ (and really… I’m not allowed to bring drinks and food that I didn’t buy there? 🤌🏻)

This hostel was terrible – nothing like other Mad Monkey locations. The breakfast was very poor and coffee was not even included. There was absolutely no hot water. Rooms are not cleaned until you check out, so you sleep on the same sheets every day. I stayed for two nights only because moving to another hostel felt too exhausting. The location is far from the centre

Loved this Mad Monkey in Hoi an, was super spacious with activities organised everyday to make it a very social hostel. You are also able to book plenty of tours with the hostel!

I think that the hostel itself was very nice! Had almost everything you could want! The beds are clean but the ground next to the beds was absolutely filthy used nicotine pouches and empty water bottles and dirt everywhere! They don’t mention on there website that they cancelled there pub crawl which was a highlight at every other mad monkey. If i knew that in advance then i probably would have gone with a different hostel.

Mad Monkey Hoi An showed me so much love. Rachel, Rachelle, Freya, and Josh just know that I love and miss you guys like crazy. I’ve got to say, Rachel might be a little bit better than James when it comes to getting biggest turnout for events 👀👀👀. Mad monkey should do a battle of the reps/locations to find out! Have a little friendly competition hahaha. See you guys again soon!!

Ik verbleef in de private room en die was ontzettend clean! Ik wil Trang B bedanken voor haar goede professionele hulp bij het boeken van het Ha Giang loop tour. Natuurlijk ook complimenten naar alle andere medewerkers binnen deze hostel!

Had an amazing time at Mad monkey! They have 2 happy hours and it was a party all day long, with free shuttle to the beer street every night. Clean and comfortable rooms, hot shower, and great menu selection and drinks. Trang b , Trang a, and kim were so helpful and friendly :)

Fun hostel with great amenities, rooms and toilets could have been cleaner and was a good 45 minute walk from town centre. Overall was great!

Very helpful staff and the only pool that I actually used in over 10 days in Vietnam. Good ambiance. The staff were very responsive to my requests so thank you to Trang b, Kim, linh for a good stay!

Booked a private room. The room was excellent. Spotlessly clean and a very comfy bed. Great vibe, nice staff and you can reach the old town in 5 minutes by grab.

First time at Mad Monkey and actually had a really good time, very nice. I did find it a bit expensive for what we got and could’ve been more social games :)

Great hostel, great vibes all round. Would defo stay there again
