The place is really dirty and bad. They made me wait until 3pm even though i already waited for 6 hours for my room, so i left. After i left, they just took the money from my card anyway. Thieves

Hostel tres sale, climatisation off de 8am a 8pm puis beaucoup trop fraîche pour la nuit où nous avons du dormir en sweet et pantalon. Le jour de notre départ il était convenu que le réceptionniste soit la a 6am, il est arrivé à 6h20, nous avons donc raté notre bus pour le Belize. (Un gros + au réceptionniste qui parlait anglais et a été d’une grande aide)

Having stayed in hostels in Spain the UK France, the Netherlands, Mexico, the US Hong Kong and China, over the course of 20 years, this is the worst. I fell off a 2ft/60cm unmarked walkway edge onto a gravel and concrete drive in the dark. No railing, no lights , and the only walkway to the restroom. The morning desk jockey blamed the guests! " They turn out the lights". I asked him who let the guests access the lightswitches and got a circular answer- "but the guests .." YOU ARE NOT SAFE HERE!

The hostel was not good. The ac was way too low and we froze all night. The room and showers were not cleaned and the staff wasn’t that nice

This hostel is horrible!Don't stay there! Diego is extremely rude. His goal is to make your stay as miserable as possible. He goes out of his way to make you uncomfortable. He yelled at me for grabbing an extra pillow when they were 5 empty beds in the room. Harrased me to clean dishes that were not mine and said if I didn't I would not get my deposit back.He kicked a girl on the street for no reason at 10pm.Toilets don't flush, don't have clean towels and tp 90% of the time. List goes on...

We were OK at the beginning, but we had problem with the bed bugs( it can happen), but the owner told us, through one of the guy, that would give us back some of the money for the room and this never happen and he never came to speak with us.

Complete sh*****e. Booked 3 nights checked out after 15hr. Could write a book on all things wrong with it but make your own judgement, everyone’s different.

Ik heb nog nooit in zo een onverzorgd hostel geslapen. Van de muffe geur in de dorm, niet stromend water in de keuken, de helft van de gas pitten die kapot waren en wilde katten die over het aanrecht in de keuken liepen en van het eten aten en als laatste de koelkast liep nog net niet weg van de schimmel. Persoonlijk zou ik dit niemand aanraden!

This place has so much potential, but the staff is the worst I've ever met traveling. On top of that they try to charge you extra taxes when you arrive, that's not stated anywhere on the website. therefore its false marketing with the pricing. The toilets are dirty and far away from the dorms. The backyard is really nice with big trees and lots of plants. The people i met there where cheap bastards like myself so at least that was nice.

I hated staying at this hostel. The place is morbid and doesn't make you feel like you want to chill. It has nothing to offer you but a beachouse that will make you wait for hours and bring you to a spot where you could have found better on your own with a 10 minutes walk. The staff was okay except for this one guy who refused to let me grab my shorts from my room 1 day after checking out. Thankfully there was a girl in the room to grab them for me 🙏. Not clean but not filthy.

Big garden, good rooms and nice people. Location is perfect.

De plek is misschien niet de schoonste en best onderhouden. Maar alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Midden in het stadje wakker worden in een soort mini jungle was geweldig. Ook hebben ze langs het meer een eigen soort beachclub. De entree en vervoer hiervoor zat allemaal in de prijs. Het personeel was ook super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Hostal efficace, avec un dortoir simple, un grand jardin très agréable, un petit dej basic (toasts)

Nice garden, good common area, and comfortable hammocks (more would be great). However, the 10-person dorm next to the kitchen/living area is very noisy. Guests (and sometimes staff) made noise late at night and early morning, including loud phone use without headphones. Lights were turned on late and AC off early. Hard to sleep, and other guests felt the same. Clear quiet hours and more respect for shared spaces would really improve the experience.

incroyable ! les espaces communs sont spacieux et propres. la cuisine est bien équipée. ce n'est pas du luxe et c'est ce que l'on cherche quand on vient ici. les dortoirs sont suffisants. il y a des rangements. proche du centre de Bacalar. Très agréablement surprise d'avoir pu accéder au Lagoon gratuitement au camping. super expérience, merci à l'équipe !

A pleasant place with great people. The kitchen needs a little work. But overall, it's well worth the price.

Väldigt fint med mycket grönska och trevlig personal samt trevligt att man blir erbjuden bröd och marmelad på morgonen! Boendet ligger även väldigt bra och centralt. Rummen är inget speciellt, men badrummen var inte så bra. Det var ofta väldigt ofräsch på toaletterna samt duscharna tyvärr.

It's a really cool place. A lot of green and space around, hammocks where to chill, ropes to hang your clothes and wet towels, put your own tent when high season! I was in a dorm of 6 and it was big enough, with a small locker to keep safe your own personal things. Airco in the room on in the night, pretty clean everywhere, toilets and showers with hot water. Big kitchen but not really well furnished... needs an upgrade, cutlery, organized space to leave food. There is a big space with table whe...

Very nice place toeet people and to relax as it's a massive garden immerse in nature. Raccomand

Das günstige hostel in Bacalar mit großen garten und viel Platz. Betten sind bequem, kostenloses frühstück, super Personal (Andres) und eine küche. Alles super

Établissement à revoir totalement, aucun équipement dans la cuisine, sans oublier qu’elle est totalement sale. La salle de bain est très rustique, pas de rideaux dans les dortoirs 3 nuits et personne ne lave les sanitaires vides les poubelles et nettoies. Sans oublier qu’il y’a eu une soirée dans l’hostel pour les mexicains du village, musique à fond jusqu’à 2h du matin. Cependant il est bien situé, et on comprend le prix de 4€

great price but dont expect much. The kitchen was dirty and the fridge smelt like salmonella (didnt seem to keep food cold)! the dorm we stayed in was musky and felt damp (may be due to humidity). shower facilities were good and has a nice outdoor area but no comfortable seats, all hard wood. cheap beer available when the bar is open. it wouldn't take much to make this hostel nice, our main issue was the musky rooms and unkept kitchen. toilets are a walk from the dorms with no rain cover

We hesitated chosing this place because of some reviews but it was really nice. The Hostel would profit from some renovations but the staff keeps the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. clean daily. Kitchen equipment was basic but enough. Stove worked well! Dorm was basic but completely fine. The AC was switched on from 8pm to 8am at a good moderate temperature. Not too cold as mentioned in previous reviews. Beach Club is 7km away from the Hostel but they offer free transport at 11am + return at 4pm

Loved the garden side of the hostel, it feels like we’re in the jungle. I had to leave very early in the morning though to catch a bus and the security wasn’t nice, very slow to help me out check out and go…

There was a birthday party at the breakfast area (organized by hostel) until 23:30 with very laud music - impossible to relax or sleep. Worst night in my recent years.

Sale. cuisine mal équipée. Si vous souhaitez vos affaires après 15h00 le jour du checkout il faut payer un supplément. Pas dutoutla'ambiance backpackeurs.

Il n'y avait pas grand chose dans la cuisine, donc c'était assez difficile de se cuisiner un repas. Seulement deux ronds de poêle fonctionne. Pour toutes ces raisons, il y avait donc une file d'attente. Les toilettes était sales. Le personnel par contre était agréable. L'emplacement est idéal.

Super destacable que tengan un camping al que te llevan y regresan GRATIS, con un paisaje y vista de la laguna inigualable
