- ⭐ 1/5 — Unbelievably disappointing and unsafe This was by far the most shocking and disappointing hotel experience of my life. In the middle of the night, while we were sleeping, someone broke into our room. The person turned out to be staying next door — but we are 100% sure that we locked our door. We have travelled our whole lives and stayed in countless hotels, and this has never happened to us before. We woke up terrified, screaming, and I had to physically push this woman out of our room. I immediately went downstairs to inform the reception, and instead of helping, the receptionist gaslighted me by suggesting that “maybe you didn’t close the door properly.” This is simply impossible. Once the door is closed, it cannot be opened from outside without a card. So either reception issued the wrong key card to this woman, or something much more intentional happened — but either way, our locked room was breached. I called the police, they came, investigated, and left. But at the end of the day nobody from the hotel apologized, took responsibility, or even showed basic empathy. Instead, they mansplained, dismissed us, and treated us as if we were making things up. If this could happen to us, it can happen to anyone. This place is absolutely not safe. Beyond this terrifying incident, the hotel is simply bad: • Wi-Fi doesn’t work at all. • Bathroom cleanliness is mediocre. • After every shower, the entire bathroom floods. • The heating is inconsistent — freezing during the day and morning, only slightly better at night. I have already contacted Booking.com and we will be resolving the issue through them, but I am writing this review to warn other travelers. Please take this seriously and do not waste your time or risk your safety with this establishment. This should never have happened — especially in a city like Santiago de Compostela. Stay somewhere else.

+ No nos gustó nada. Lss instalaciones decrépitas. Carísimo por como son las instalaciones. Parece un internado de los años 70-80. Hemos estado en otros Hostels y este es el peor sin lugar a dudas. No lo recomiendo

- Éramos cinco y al final fuimos cuatro, pero no me podían reembolsar el dinero, así que me dijeron que tenía las 5 camas de la habitación para nosotros para toda la estancia, 2 días, porque ya estaba pagada, que si volvía el que faltaba o venia alguien, podía dormir ahí, pero la última noche al llegar de cenar vemos que hay una persona en una cama en la que dormía una amiga, la solución que nos dieron fue que nos cambiaban de habitación, a las 2 de la mañana!! Al final la cambiaron a ella, que era lo más lógico y nos invitaron a desayunar al día siguiente.

- La cama tenía chinches y la ducha moho negro.

- Uff.. todo. Las habitaciones eran ratoneras. Con el baño hecho dentro d la misma habitación donde el agua se salía por todos lados al ducharse. La tapa del wáter toda picada. Un calor que era imposible descansar. El pero sitio donde dormir durante mi peregrinación a Santiago y el más caro. No volveré jamás

- 홈리스 장기투숙자들과 같은 방을 쓰게 됨. 밤 1시에 들어와 소란을 피우고 여행자들과 싸우다가 도미토리에 자던 사람들이 힌밤중에 모두 대피함. 연박 예약했다가 스탭은 방 교환요청에 대해서도 거절. 손빨래는 할 수 없음.(그 정도는 이해함)

- Small,cramped dorm room. Couldn’t stay there. Last day of Camino. Wasn’t going to end it that way. So booked another alburgue and moved. Spent 10 minutes in the room and staff said no refund.
+ Del hotel lo único que me vino bien fue la ubicación que estaba al lado del centro nada más.
- Pésimo tenía dos días de estancia y me dijeron que la habitación no la limpiaban ni si quiera el cuarto de baño antes de 4 días ni siquiera la basura que si queria antes tenia que pagar 12 euros ,el baño salía agua por el suelo del lavado las toallas rotas , no había ni aseos personales como en todos los hoteles ni cepillo de dientes, ni pasta, ni peine nada el desayuno Pésimo era de 8 a 10 y fui a las 9 y 20 y me dicen ya no hay jamás de York pues patético la verdad no volveré.

- Atendimento ruim muito frios os recepcionistas - falta de sensibilidade para acomodar os casais juntos e mulheres com mulheres e homens com homens por serem os quartos pequenos e fechados!

Sehr gutes Hostel, alles ziemlich sauber, ideale Ausgangslage um Santiago zu erkunden. Einzig der Abstand zwischen den Stockbetten ist sehr klein - ich bon nicht sehr groß, aber ich konnte nicht mal ansatzweise sitzen. Ansonsten top Hostel - ich kann es sehr empfehlen.

Tout est parfait Manque un peu d'intimité dans les chambres car dortoir petit. Mettre des rideaux?
Everything is perfect, just missing a little privacy in the bedrooms, a small sleeping car.
El mejor lugar donde he descansado en mis 5 caminos. Un 10 en todo. El personal un 11.

muy buen hostel, altamente recomendable! el personal es muy amable y atento, como unico detalle es que quiza son un poco descuidados con su cuarto de alojamiento de maletas (para cuando esperas el check in o situaciones asi). Literalmente llegue el dia de mi check out por la tarde a retirar la mochila (la deje alli para recorrer la ciudad mas liviano) y me abrieron la puerta con solo pedirlo siendo que el personal que estaba de turno jamas me habia visto; mas alla de eso es un lugar EXCELENTE
The staff is very friendly and attentive, as the only detail is that maybe they are a little careless with their luggage accommodation room (for when you are waiting for the check in or situations like that). literally comes the day of my check out in the afternoon to pick up the backpack (I leave it there to tour the city but very light) and they opened the door for me with just asking being that the staff who was on duty had never seen me; but beyond that it is an EXCELLENT place
I liked my stay. The shower was hot, the bed was comfortable. There's a grocery store nearby and two places for coffee in the morning. It's also a cute little neighborhood. Can recommend

Al principio me gustó sin embargo ya la segunda noche fue horrible se escuchaba todo de otros cuartos lo peor es que era algo que no es frecuente y no creo que debiera ser en un hostal de este tipo: llantos de pequeños lo cual no creo que vaya con la naturaleza de este tipo de hostales. Asimismo cualquiera podría entrar al hostal, cero seguridad, y aunque se veía todo muuuuy limpio la verdad, el último día tuve que matar una cucaracha. La ubicación no es la mejor y cero ambiente tipo host...

I had a school class in my hostel and it felt like they were destroying the house! They were crazy noisy and I heard everyone through the walls although they were staying in the level below me. I don't understand how it can be allowed to put classes into a hostel. Apart from that the hostel was okay. The kitchen area was pretty nice and well equipped
Un sitio que esta bien para el precio que tiene. Esta bien conectado con el centro, baño amplio y el personal es super amable. Cosas que mejoraria: por favor poned sabanas bajeras, te dan una sabana normal y bastante corta para que la uses de bajera (un rollo). Además, si te toca en la litera de abajo no te puedes sentar, es muy bajita, estaría bien que hubiera duvets en vez de sabana y manta seria mucho mas cómodo a la hora de hacer la cama (y mas teniendo en cuenta la poca altura que hay).
