Eco Hotel El Refugio Boutique

- Es increible que en el siglo XXI se alquile una habitación cuyo baño sea externo. Para usarlo debía salir de la habitación. Deben invertir en modificar la estructura del edificio y modificar esta condicion.

+ La ubicación está bien

- Hice mi reserva por booking, salía un precio muy conveniente por lo que cambié mis planes y me fui a hospedar allí. Resulta que ellos se equivocaron en los precios y no respetaron el valor de mi reserva… no cancelaron mi reserva hasta 24 horas después y me retuvieron dos horas ya que no sabían cómo solucionar el problema… no recomiendo el lugar por el trato del personal

- La salle de bain séparée ( pas dans la chambre) mais sur le palier de 4 chambres. En plus a Leticia il fait tres chaud et ca donne un choc thermique entre la fraicheur de la chambre et le palier et la salke de bain minuscule qui n’est pas rafraichie

- La salle de bain qui n’est pas dans la chambre mais sur le palier de 4 chambres. C’est tres désagréable de devoir sortir de la chambre pour aller faire ses besoins ou prendre sa douche. D’autant plus qu’à Leticia il fait tres chaud. Ca donne un choc thermique entre la fraicheur de la chambre et la chaleur du palier et de la salle de bain minuscule.

+ The staff was somehow friendly.

- I am not sure what the words 'eco' or 'boutique' are supposed to refer to, but in my experience, the hotel was neither. The room was not clean, the mosquito net on the window was unfortunately ripped, the bedsheets were dirty, and on top of it all, we found a used earpick on the floor. I do not believe the hotel is worth the price they charge.

+ Air conditioned, which was really a life changer in the super hot and humid Leticia. Staff at the reception was very kind. The room was really big and clean. Position is OK, a few minutes walking from Parque de Santander.

- Breakfast was quite poor and the lady preparing it wasn't friendly. The street is noisy but that's Leticia center, you can't open windows but fortunately there is AC. The bathroom was a bit basic, not really a pleasure using the shower.

+ The beds were comfortable, clean bathroom, cool room decoration, wifi was okay too.

- The AC was not working, the plug and the socket were completely different and did not fit. The sockets were in weird places, all electronics had been pulled Out. The mosquito nets on the windows were open at some places. They do not speak English, which is fine for that part of Colombia, but might be inconvenient for some. The AC situation was the worst though, practically no sleep, so hot and humid.

- Las habitaciones son pequeñas y no cuentan con aire solo con ventilador, hace bastante calor en la habitación. En la ducha el agua no tiene buena potencia por lo q sale muy poca hace muy complicado tomarse un baño.

+ Era correcto, el personal es súper amable y te ayuda en todo

- No tenía ventanas (solo mosquiteras) por tanto se oye todo el ruido de la calle. El lavabo es miy estrecho, la cama bastante incómoda y de muelles (se movía todo cuando uno de los dos se movía). Pero, más que nada, el ruido constante.

+ Hotel sencillo, buen precio, habitación amplia, limpia y confortable, excelente atención de su propietaria y limpieza excelente. Gracias

+ Friendly staff, great location very close to the center and malecon but a bit away to be out of the noise, easy to find - it's on a main street, clean room and bathroom, good WiFi. Note, there is no hot water but none of the hotels in this area have it and it was known before so not going to say anything negative regarding this.

- One negative point was that the windows only have screens and no shutters, this means that there is still a little noise coming from the outside from some restaurants. Fortunately most of the noise stops after 11pm or so.
