We didn’t even stay here because when we came and was gonna check in, he told us that he didn’t have any beds over. When I said that I had a reservation for two beds he only said “sorry I don’t know.

Cuando llegué al "hostel" no había nadie, tuve que irme con mis cosas a aprovechar el día, luego de varias horas el dueño me respondió por whatsapp dandome la clave para ingresar a la propiedad. Toda sucia, no había agua caliente, no andaba internet, parecia estar habitada por ocupas. Pase una de las dos noches que alquile porque básicamente el lugar no estaba en condiciones.
When I got to the "hostel" there was no one, I had to leave with my things to enjoy the day, after several hours the owner answered me by whatsapp giving me the key to enter the property. all dirty, no hot water, no internet, it seemed to be occupied. spend one of the two nights I rented because basically the place was not in condition.
Hostel dans une rue peu fréquentable de Tulum, éloigné du centre. Personnel peu présente , odeur d’urine de chat très présente. Tout était très sale. Les lits en hauteur difficilement accessible. Je ne recommande pas.

Absolut nicht empfehlenswert! Der Besitzer ist unzuverlässig und nie vor Ort, nur telefonisch erreichbar. Wenn man Glück hat, lassen einen andere Gäste rein, ansonsten heißt es warten mitten im Favela. Das Tor ist nur über ein billiges Zahlenschloss gesichert, die Tür zum Haus steht die meiste Zeit offen. Die Schlafkabinen werden von Ratten heimgesucht, mein Essen in der obersten Kammer (etwa 2,5m hoch) wurde in der Nacht angeknabbert. Kein Reinigungspersonal und keine Seife auf den Toilet...
Absolutely not recommended! the owner is unreliable and not on site, only reachable by phone. if you are lucky, let another guest in, otherwise it means waiting in the middle of the favela. the gate is only secured via a cheap number lock, the door to the house is open most of the time. the sleeping quarters are haunted by rats, mein Essen in the upper chamber (about 2.5m high) was nibbled at night. no cleaning staff and no soap on the toilets

Lejos de los tuluminatis, Aldea Okot ofrece un retorno al viejo y sencillo Tulum. Un pequeño patio con hamacas y una cabana rústica sin ningún lujo para sentirse verdaderamente en una pequeña casa tropical. El hostal aparte representa un proyecto de turismo social que me alegra haber apoyado.
Far from the tuluminatis, Aldea Okot offers a return to the old and simple Tulum.A small patio with hammocks and a rustic cabin without any luxury to truly feel in a small tropical house.The hostel apart represents a social tourism project that I am glad to have supported.
Great place with great people! Perfect spot to evade the big turistic Tulum and enjoy a more authentic part of the city!
