This hostel is seriously average … if that. If you value your comfort, please do not book the dorm without AC.
De privé kamer is aan de kleine kant, er is geen ventilatie voor de douche dus de hele kamer ruikt vochtig en schimmelig. Je moet 10,- per nacht voor je airco betalen… Het zwembad wil je ook absoluut niet in gaan.
The private room is on the small side, there is no ventilation for the shower so the whole room smells damp and foul. you have to pay 10,- per night for your air conditioning... the pool you also absolutely do not want to go in.
I discovered a bed bug two days after returning from my trip, during which I spent 4 nights at Surf Town and 1 night at another hostel. I emailed Surf Town to inform them, but I never heard back. While I can’t say for certain that the bed bug was acquired at Surf Town, it is clear that they are not taking the issue seriously or taking any precautions, given their lack of response.
DISASTER!! There was no water almost the entire time, not in my ensuite bathroom (which I paid extra for) or the common ones. I couldn’t shower or use the toilet, which was beyond frustrating. Then, there was nonstop construction by the pool, starting early in the morning with loud concrete cutting and dust flying everywhere. The pool was completely unusable. To top it off, the guy at the front desk was clueless and gave me wrong information multiple times. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
If you’re looking for a place to get a good night’s sleep, don’t go here! The music went on way past the 11pm cutoff and people talked loud until 1am. You can hear absolutely everything. The birds were screaming all night and the room was super hot, impossible to sleep well. Not to mention, the water doesn’t work well so you can’t take a shower. But, if you’re looking for a place to party it has a good vibe.
Horrible bunk beds who shake with every move (especially when people below you are doing things, in the bunk, in the dorm). The dorm was super small, beds very close to each other and it was very loud all night. It was quite clean and the staff was really nice. More of a trashy party atmosphere, if you want to actually sleep or are looking for a nice place to chill, go somewhere else.
Im not usually leaving reviews but thats worth a mention. Nice common areas, TERRIBLE ROOMS: - No window courtains so expect to wake up at 6-6:30am - No proper walls/windows, anyone speaking on the street feels like is inside the room (and Im using ear plugs) - Broken Lockers. - Shaky bunk beds. - mosquitos everywhere in the room - No A/C, very old fans some of them broken. Sadly very easy/cheap improves can be made but they dont seem to care much. Everyone who was staying there agreed..
Rooms were terrible, the bathroom looked like it was still under construction. There were all over the bed while I was trying to take a nap. The water wasnt working for about 6 hours and I had to wait until 10pm to have a shower.

Good hostel
Enjoyed my stay, liked the pool and rooftop. Good sized free breakfast, met some nice people. They really cram the beds into the rooms tho, could do with some updating
10 bed dorm was very crowded & tight, however the beds were nice and the WiFi was good. Breakfast was small but okay.
Beautiful place with a great atmosphere and good music. The dorm bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The reception staff was very helpful and explained everything about the hostel and its services clearly. Highly recommended!
Super nettes Personal und konnten auch englisch. Gratis frühstücken war echt lecker und konnte aus zwei Optionen wählen. Zimmer hatte leider keine Klimaanlage, aber sonst echt sauber

As much as I enjoyed my stay at this hostel, I did get very injured in my bed. While in the top bunk, I put my pants on and my leg when through the floor and got very cut up and bruised. I was unable to do many activities I had intended to after this incident and the only resolution I was given was that they replaced the floor. Besides that, it was a lovely place and I met lovely people!
Nice hostel! Not that many activities during our stay but good facilities and very nice staff! Great location.
Stayed for 3 days. Vibes were excellent at the hostel. Staff were great. Especially Wascar. Always greeted me by name with a smile. Made me feel at home.

The hostel was nice and everyone is very friendly and it was close to the main part of town. however on 2/4 of my nights there there was very loud music and I couldn’t sleep due to how close the dorms are to where the music is. I understood this was a party hostel when booking but it was genuinely impossible to sleep. Breakfast was okay but the coffee was horrible and tasted off the first time I tasted it I thought it had rotten milk in the pitcher but it was just the taste of the coffee. The ...
Unfortunately didn’t enjoy my stay here. A/c and personal fans are nice. My bed was right next to the door so didn’t sleep well (another bed might be different). Included breakfast was decent. Majority of staff here were unhelpful and not friendly, felt like I was bothering them. Biggest issue is no water in the afternoon and all night for 3 of my 4 days, so no showers and toilets were grim! Lady said it was a town issue but my friends at other places didn’t have this. Hostel surcoté attention ! L’emplacement n’est pas très central, les sanitaires et douche sont supers vieilles et sales. Les chambres se sont des clapiers à lapin, la clim ne fonctionne pas bien, ça pue et tout le monde met son ventilateur toutes la nuit on se croirait dans une usine avec le bruit. Aucun équipement dans la cuisine. La piscine est sale. Seul point positif, les soirées qu’ils organisent peuvent être sympa.
Hostel overclocked attention ! The location is not very central, the toilets and shower are super old and dirty. The rooms are like rabbit crates, the air conditioning doesn't work well, it stinks and everyone turns on their fan all night long you'd think you're in a factory with the noise. No equipment in the kitchen. The pool is dirty. The only positive point, the parties they organize can be fun.

This place is a sure thing! very friendly staff. the atmosphere is fabulous. the location is perfect i highly recommend it.
The vibe was weird and not much going on but this could have just been whilst we stayed there. The water was off on a number of occasions but wasn't a massive issue. The staff are friendly and happy to help though. Overall, the hostel is in a great location and it was an enjoyable stay
