I’ve stayed quite a lot of hostels while traveling but this one has to be the worst stay I’ve ever had. Reception is super nice but the facilities are horrrrrrid. Top bunk felt like I was going to fall off at any point and the bars kept falling off! Like just fall. The mattresses are hard like rock. I felt like I was sleeping in a prison. The facilities too aren’t as nice as the photos. I booked 2 nights but only slept 1 and just left I couldn’t do another night.

Worst hostel experience ever… walked out after 10min. Didn’t felt welcome at all. Staff was ignoring me when I wanted to check in. And when they did they were rude. Walked out with al my stuff without them noticing.
The staff was nice… We got an upgrade for free. But a few points; the dorms don’t lock, anyone could come in. They only have 4 chargingpoints at the door for a room of 6. 🤨 I put my new, expensive charger here and it got stolen. So look out! Not very safe. Also, this might be my fault for not knowing this, the showers don’t get warm at all, they’re really cold. Its not nice since the nights here are also cold. If you’re a big hippie and you love the devils lettuce, this is the place...
Het is een mooie plek, rustig en mooi uitzicht. Lief personeel. Alleen de bedden waren echt kei, en dan ook keihard. Pijnlijk hard. De hutten waar we sliepen waren een soort van open, ijskoud dus. De douches en wc’s zijn ook open dus ook ijskoud. Gewoon echt weinig luxe… ook checken ze niet op wie bij wie in bed ligt, ik heb dus boven een koppeltje geslapen die weet ik veel wat aan het doen waren in dat bed. Ik ben na 1 nacht weggegaan, ondanks dat ik meer nachten geboekt had.
It's a nice place, quiet and nice view. Nice staff. Only the beds were really kei, and then also keihard. Painfully hard. The huts where we slept were a kind of open, ijskoud so. The showers and toilets are also open so also ijskoud. Gewoon echt weinig luxe... also check on who with whom in bed lies, so I slept on top of a couple who I know a lot what were doing in that bed. I left after 1 night, despite having booked more nights.
nice atmosphere and cheap
Not how the pictures make it look. Everything is outside. Very hard beds, everything is wooden. Lockers didn’t feel secure, outside and all beaten up. Showers are outside and aren’t great. Quite far out from the walking street. Owner is nice though.
We ended up staying in the outdoor hut (which we didn’t know about), it was freezing and the beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Very very basic facility’s that felt slightly unclean. The location was good though and the staff were nice.

The atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing, with plenty of spaces to unwind whether it’s in the hammocks, on the rooftop, or just hanging around. I had the most amazing time here in Pai, Danny the owner is super funny and sweet. Peachy makes the best food in the world and the volunteers Tom and Janne just bring such a good vibe. I felt at home from the start!!! Thank you Cody’s 🫶
I have absolutely loved my time here. I even came back to Pai and didn’t even think about staying anywhere else. It is so peaceful here as it is slightly outside of Pai. It is a lovely social hostel you can go out drinking or join in with arts and crafts. The staff and volunteers are all really friendly. By far the best Hostel I have ever stayed in!

Great hostel situated by the river where you can cool off. Open spacious grounds with many areas to hang with people. Really well set up. If you like a mix of social and chill, this is the place to be. A 5-minute scooter ride from the center or a 20-minute walk (if you don't have a bike there's always someone around who'll be happy to give you a ride!). Morning yoga a few times a week plus daily activties you can opt into if you like. EPIC STAFF who are fun, genuine and kind.
One of my favorite hostels in SE Asia. Staff is super nice and friendly. Always available to help when needed. Peachy makes some amazing food. Great atmosphere and perfect communal spaces for socializing or chilling out on the yoga deck. Tom and Kris were amazing volunteers, really helped make the environment welcoming. 10/10 would stay here again
Feel this is too expensive for the amount of beds in each dorm( 12 to 24 beds!) and the state of the dorms and bathrooms but we did appreciate the social side of the hostel.
The bungalow we stayed in was open to the outside so there are mosquito nets provided. It got pretty chilly at night sometimes. Also one of the cats came in and slept on my friends bed which wouldn’t have been a problem for me but some people wouldn’t like it. I didn’t like the atmosphere because there is music playing loudly until late at night and people yelling. People were very (!) drunk and sometimes talking loudly in the room when I was trying to sleep. Bathroom area was messy and cr...
Nice hostel. Brown was very friendly on the front desk. Only stayed for a night but was my favourite hostel whilst in Pai. Much preferred the overall vibe compared to revolutions in Pai. This is a good social hostel but not party. Beautiful surrounding scenery and for a great price. 5 stars!

Phenomenal vibes at Cody’s - honestly phenomenal - social, chill, grass, big Changs. Anekleasse was a great volunteer organizing group trips and DJ’ing, and the staff were suuuuper nice, helpful and fun. Vibes couldn’t get better than here.

Loved this place! Great people and wonderful atmosphere, music by Ane-kleasse every night and eventho it’s a bit further out, the location is amazing. This is the perfect place to be laying in a hammock all day.

Honestly this place is an acquired taste. I booked here mostly because i thought I’d be spending time doing yoga in the mornings and laying in a hammock looking out at the mountains as pictured but the facilities were not well kept and the yoga was kind of a farce. Overall the place is a good spot to meet people but expect the facilities to be very low budget and there’s no lockers of any significant size to store bags.
