Tiene demasiada gente hospedada para tan poca zona común y pocos baños.Cuando llegamos antes del check in tuvimos q dejar maletas en un locker de pago. El desayuno no merece mucho la pena.
If you’re a young solo traveler, I wouldn’t recommend this hostel. I entered & immediately felt the atmosphere was off. There were few people I saw who were in my age range, and the rest were significantly older. If you wouldn’t be comfortable with that, you should go somewhere else. As a woman, I didn’t feel safe here. I came across multiple sketchy people that were acting in a way that made me uncomfortable. I am always open minded when staying in hostels, but this didnt pass as one I...
There was hair and toenails on my bedsheets. Also not enough space for the provided drawer to pull out from under the bed so very difficult to store your belongings.
Everything was okay until about 2am when a drunk guest came back. He started vomiting all over his bed. His face was covered in blood. The room was absolutely stinking and it was impossible to sleep. I reached out to the hostel for a solution but they literally didn't do anything! Apologised for the inconvenience and thats it. I should have been offered a partial refund or a full refund.
Dirty, noisy, humid, and one of the most expensive hostels ive stayed in...
Pretty average hostel. Quite a lot of big groups. The kitchen was well equipped and ample seating space etc. There seemed to be very few toilets and showers. But the one awful thing was I’ve never know a hostel charge me to leave my bag before. Above that the rate they expected for this was extortionate. €6 to leave it for just 6 hours and even more for longer is just robbery, basically station prices! The hostel was filled with these fancy paid lockers for it.
No air circulation in the rooms and the rooms are tiny. The air felt so stuffy I had to finish the night in my rental car.
Didn’t end up staying here as 15 mins after checking into my room, one of my roommates found bed bugs in her bunk and I decided to stay elsewhere. I can’t really comment on the atmosphere since I spent little time here but the staff was helpful and understanding when I raised this concern with them.

Everything was excellent except staff using very strong toxic smelling "Mr Muscle " spray to clean kitchen while people were preparing and eating food, and outside the posted times for cleaning. I moved to furthest seats away and still the fumes were awful. She was working really hard, place so clean but please don't spray near food and other people, especially when guests adhering to times when kitchen is open.
Room of 8 is undersized for 4 bunk beds, what should clearly be a room for 6 beds. Only 6 coat hangers available for room of 8. My locker beneath the bed was blocked by the other bunk bed facing it in an L shape preventing storage of my belongings. Curtain of the lower bed doesn't allow full privacy or protection from light. A simple rail extension behind the ladder would fix that. Unpredictable keycard randomly opens the room door after multiple attempts.
Camera per 4 un po’ piccola ma confortevole
Thank you a wonderful experience
All in all a great hostel. Friendly staff and good discounts on local cafes and restaurants. Only downside I found were the showers. Got really hot quickly and there was no setting to make it colder. Besides this I would come again. Just be weary there is a steep hill to get there
Had a good stay! Felt safe in a 8 bed female and beds were nice. Small room and not a ton of bathrooms, but we made do! I got lucky with some social roommates but it did seem like more of an older demographic staying there, or groups of people who knew each other. No social events I knew of, but a very decent place to sleep while exploring cork

Bathrooms were small and overcrowded but the beds were great and bedding was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Super comfy beds with curtains and a huge kitchen. Great location!
There are a handful of mediocre reviews on here, but I’m here to dispel those rumors. I stayed in Sheila’s for two night and had a great time. There’s plenty to do just a street over and it’s just a short walk across the river to the rest. They have an incredibly well equipped kitchen (like you could seriously cook anything you want in there) and it was clean and well-maintained. There’s also plenty of great community spaces that encourage socializing and friendliness! Would stay again
Decent place to stay. The female dorm was pretty small and hot, but fine. Hiking the stairs to the 3rd floor every time was a bit rough. I do think they need more bathrooms, they were always full. Great for meeting people though and good location. No problem with cleanliness.Staff was great and super helpful!
So cute, nice time, thank you every one
Really helpful staff and good location! Comfy beds.
The staff are amazing, kind, polite, efficient, and caring. That’s the reason I would stay again and recommend you.
A low cost way to spend a night or two in Cork City.
I did not enjoy my stay here as a solo female, there was a lot of older men and I was put into a room where 10/12 people were men. It was not social and didn’t feel clean/ rooms smelled damp. Someone also broke into my stuff :/ but the location and kitchen was nice
Bed pretty uncomfortable but good facilities, breakfast does the job + is only €5 per person and the staff are great!
foi muito bom!
Overall a really great hostel. Lot of amenities and friendly staff. The only thing that could be improved somewhere to put your clothes and your jackets. I kinda missed a cupboard or wardrobe.
