The AC in another room was broken. It made such a loud noise that you couldn't sleep a bit. Even with earplugs or headphones. Even after the 6th complaint, the employee was not ready to do anything about it or refund our money, even when I stated that we were ready to leave. After hours of complaining the stuff finally asked the people in the room with the broken AC to turn it off. One toilet was full of blood. it was really disgusting

Chicos, terrible albergue! no van . Apaga el aire acondicionado a las 10 am y solo lo vuelve a encender a las 6 pm. Cortan el agua a las 11 de la noche. Ni siquiera vale la pena gratis. Si quieres reservar, haz estas preguntas. ¿Cómo puedo quedarme aquí sin aire acondicionado? imposible. no vengas

unclean in the rooms for sure, i felt quite dirty staying there - they need to hire a bigger quantity of cleaners! not a social atmosphere at all. breakfast is very good.

The staff were really not very friendly. He made us wait all day for check-in when all we needed was a sheet to put on a bed. The communal showers were not clean, and the rooms were a mess as there were 8 of us and the bunk beds were very high. There was virtually no personal space, no coffee available during the day, and whenever you wanted to order something from the hotel it was expensive. No real atmosphere / vibe. I think people just use it to fly out of Santa Marta. You’re confined to your bed or a big wooden dining table - very few comfortable surfaces to sit on. There is a terrace but it is soaked in sun during the day. My room (3 bed dorm) had no windows to the outside. Breakfast and showers are good

Big rooms, well functioning AC and nice terrace. The hostel offers information about several activities and has a happy hour.

Stayed in a 8 bed dorm with no window/ventilation. AC was on during the night, but did not manage to cool down the whole room. The room itself was way too smal for 8 people an there was no space at all. The kitchen/living room was really warm and the terrace where the heat was bearable was rather small. The whole hostel and bathrooms had a really bad smell (some kind of chemicals i guess used for cleaning). The laundry we handed in smelled like cigarettesmoke when handed back to us.

We didn’t enjoy our stay here. The place looks really beautiful, but the common places are scarce and the bar already closes at 11. Our shared dorm smelled like feet (even after leaving the window open) and was filthy. The private rooms were nice though. Also one of the receptionists was just plain unfriendly and already stopped serving at 10:40 because it was almost 11. Wouldn’t recommend.

juste pour une nuit mais Hostel au top ! le volontaire Jorge qui nous a accueilli était très sympathique, disponible et nous a conseillé sur beaucoup de choses pour la suite de notre trip ! les lits étaient confortables (manque un peu de propreté dans la chambre mais c'était sûrement dû aux garçons qui y étaient actuellement....), les douches spacieuses et propres, la cuisine fonctionnelle, les espaces communs super !

Great people, great staff. Havent expected to find that kinda spacias hostel. Plenty room to chill and relax - loved to play with yhe cat - Minca.

Me agradó mucho estar en este lugar, es económico, el personal es muy amigable y la ubicación es perfecta para ir a la playa y las tiendas. Gracias por recibirme y ser amables.

This place could benefit of some additional maintenance and care. But staff is great, which always makes a difference.

Nice hostel, private room is nice with A/C. Showers are warm. Kitchen and dining area also adds to the charm.

it is a good hostel. the people are very nice and everything was really clean. We went to Parque Tayrona and could leave the luggage at the hostel for two nights. After that we stayed another two nights at the hostel and would come back!

El lugar es una maravilla, el personal es muy amable y atento y ni hablar de la inmejorable zona en la que se encuentra, en el centro de la ciudad , de la bahía y de las principales discotecas, 100% recomendado 👌🏻😄

The hotel was super clean and very comfortable. There’s a lovely terrace and a great cowork. The hostel is quite quiet in general so you can work from any good spot. The internet is very fast, which makes it a great option for digital nomads! The kitchen is fully equipped and clean! Bathrooms really clean too and spacious. Bedrooms are quite big, the only issue is that they are quite hot and they turn the air conditioning off. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful

Distrito Hostel is one of the best places I've ever stayed while traveling. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is very friendly, and the facilities are great. I highly recommend it.

Good for one night for the location. Abit out of the way of the town if you’re staying for a few days. Staff were nice and kitchen looked good.

Good price for a private room and decent location within walking distance of the centre. Didn't love the common area - it was a mixture of reception, hang out space and gym(??)

Great hostel. Within a 3 -10min walk you can access the beach, a range of supermarkets, various shops and the centre of town. The bus stop for the airport is just around the corner. There are two secure (within buildings) ATMs. The staff are all very friendly and considerate!

Pros: I liked the vibe in this place. Relaxed people, nice terrace, the beds were comfy and good temperature in the dorms. Cons: I only stayed here one night because when I was going to make my breakfast around 7:30 they told me that I can only use the kitchen after 10, because the kitchen is reserved to the staff to make breakfast for paying guests until then. I think this was really weird and it threw me off. Even tho they weren’t even using all the stove tops they wouldn’t let me use one...

We loved staying here, the location was great - v close to the beach. Staff were amazing, so friendly and they helped us plan our trip to Tayrona and Mendihuaca. They also kept our bags whilst we travelled.
