Hostel Lyon Centre

Vengo de Perú, realicé una reserva y mucho antes de la fecha de cancelación solicité por correo indicando que por la app no podía realizar la cancelación GRATUITA y si me la pueden hacer ellos debido a que mi vuelo se había reprogramado y posteriormente reservar el próximo mes. Nunca obtuve respuesta y después en mi tarjeta se hizo el cobro de los días sin siquiera haberme quedado allí, la atención al cliente es muy mala y descortés, desde mi experiencia no lo recomiendo.

Used nikotin in my bed when i arrived. Toilets not really funktioning. Im sorry but the experience was horrible.

Pretty disappointed stay. This hostel hasn't got the basics right. Was woken up 3 times in the night because someone claimed I was in their bed. Couldn’t lock away my valuables because only 4/6 lockers in the room had doors. Shower vents don’t work so ceiling is mouldy. Some toilets had no loos roll. Overall very underwhelming and felt uncomfortable the whole time.

Overall disappointing. Most staff were friendly, especially the young guy on evening shifts who was very helpful. The morning staff member was rude and often unavailable. Checkout was unattended, so we left a note and key. Bathrooms were poor (flooding showers, no toilet seat, no temperature control). Bed was clean but curtains lacked privacy. Nice terrace. Family dinner okay for €6. Skip the breakfast — very disappointing and refund refused without explanation.

1) Tout le monde pouvait rentrer dans la chambre car elle ne fermait pas. 2) Pas d'eau froide dans la salle de bain. 3) Eau bouillante dans la salle de bain. Je me suis brulée à plusieurs reprises pour me laver le visage, me brosser les dents ou sous la douche. 4) La douche était immonde. C'était très sale. Il y avait un peu de moisissure et le sol était noir. 5) Il y avait plusieurs fuites d'eau et des toilettes bouchées dans la salle de vie. 6) Fenêtres mal isolées. Expérience ...

DO NOT STAY HERE ! Stayed one night and did not extend for the remaining of my stay in Lyon . I was really hoping that previous reviews were just ppl complaining but its sadly the real Truth ! hostel is used by many ppl seeking accomodation in city... no limit of stay period . Deffinetly not Youth either... SHOWERS ARE COLD ! ELECTRICAL UNSAFE - SPARKS FROM THE LAMP OVER BUNK WHEN PLUGGED IN

Its the worst hostel I have stayed They dont have electricity in the bunk beds, there is only an extension cord in the middle of the room, there is not hot water in the shower, there is only one button that you push and the cold water comes for a minute I labeled my food and the next day it was missing I asked in reception and was told that they cleaned and maybe the coworker threw it but that they cant do anything about it

None of the oulets in the beds worked, so we had to compete for an extension cord. The bathrooms were the appliances were leaky. Service was slow, and it seemed like they were short staffed. Our roommate had been living there for 2 weeks and said the outlets in the beds hadn't worked during his entire stay. The rooms were clearly not designed to fit 6 people, so I was always worried about stepping on someone's things or waking them up. The drinks and food were priced reasonably

Sale Mal situé Sordide et dangereux les escaliers dans la pénombre menant aux dortoirs. Lits non numérotés et mini douche pour 16 ! Pas de quoi s'essuyer les mains et hyper hyper INSALUBRE !!!

Incredible views, the best in Lyon. Friendly, welcoming and comfortable. I'll be back.

i loves this hostel from the location to the atmosphere. Word of warning though - it is a steep putt up from the train station - take a look at public transport to St Just if you have heavy bags.

the hill that the hostel was on was really steep, but it's pretty close to the centre. the laundry facilities were nice! the socket neqr my bed wasn't working, and when i told the staff about it, they offered to move me to a different room. there was a sink in the room which was nice and there were lockers for which you can use your own lock. the communal bathrooms were not really clean. i only stayed here for one night, but the bed was comfortable, although my curtain was broken.

Das Hostel liegt auf einem kleinen Berg, hat eine wunderschöne Terasse, die Betten sind bequem und in Kojen abgeschottet. Leider gibt es in der Ausstattung erhebliche Mängel. Es gab pro Flur 2 Toiletten, davon hatte eine keine Klobrille, und zwei Duschen, diese waren immer warm aber müssen alle 5 Sekunden neu gedrückt werden. Ich habe dort nicht gekocht, aber die Küche ist sehr klein, es gibt nur ein einzelnes Kochfeld und ein kleines Waschbecken. Dafür werden Mahlzeiten und Snacks verkauf...

Très déçu, la chambre sentait la fumée de cigarette, les prises électriques ne fonctionnait pas, j’ai dû réserver une autre auberge afin d’être dans de meilleures conditions, en parlant du problème d’électricité la personne de l’accueil été au courant mais personne n’en a parlé au moment du règlement et n’ont pas envoyé de mail afin de prévenir

Lekker bed, mooie view van lyon vanaf het terras. fijn dat er kluisjes in de kamers zitten. badkamer was niet helemaal geweldig en sommige dingen zoals het stopcontact bij mijn bed viel er uit. maar heel vriendelijk personeel die ons vertelde wat er te doen was in lyon en leuke cafeetjes etc

Fantastic staff, location and dorms. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff! Definitely coming back. Excellent location. Beds are super comfortable and clean. Showers are the only let down!

Sono stata in questo ostello per due notti, la posizione meravigliosa la vista sulla città splendida ( per non fare la salita potete prendere la funicolare). i lettini hanno le tendine da tirare e puoi accendere anche la tua lucetta personale. la cucina è abbastanza pulita e se non vuoi cucinare puoi mangiare in ostello e con neanche 10 euro te la cavi, da italiana sicuramente il cibo non era buonissimo ma comunque non faceva schifo e l’ho mangiato volentieri. un ringraziamento speciale a iv...

Really friendly atmosphere at the hostel and staff were very welcoming. The toilets and showers were small but functional and the hostel is on top of a hill so be prepared to do some climbing.

I want to be fair to this hostel. There are many great points about it, but unfortunately some of the main points are lacking, and I hope they see this and make it a great hostel. Bathroom: They were clean, but they are cramped. Crappy plastic cladding (think about mini-tiles instead). No mirrors. Tiny sink with only hot water that blasts out which means it splashes everywhere. Hence floor soaking wet. Shower temp not adjustable. Dorms: Curtain sliders ripped. No coat hooks. Locker doors broken

Nel complesso una ottima scelta, che rifarò quando ritornerò a Lione. La posizione è fantastica: si vede tutta la città giù fino al fiume e oltre. Col tramonto o l'alba era un di più non compreso nel prezzo. Poi, come tutti gli ostelli, si vorrebbe sempre qualcosa di più: un gancio nel bagno, un appoggia abiti/accappatoio; così come nella camera farebbe comodo un attaccapanni (che però so bene che fine farebbe.....la clientela non è sempre civile, ma a Lione era più civile ed educata...
