Stayed at Zephyr Lodge and left very disappointed. The tab system felt untrustworthy —others were charged for things they didn’t order. Staff were rude and unprofessional, even blaming my friend for their own order mistake and trying to get him to pay extra. Room had bed bugs. Food was poor and overpriced. Also, they charge for return shuttle (100Q on card if no cash). Only positive was the Semuc tour, but bring your own food. There are far better options closer to Semuc.

The only positive thing about this place is its views. I left covered in bed bug bites and with serious food poisoning. The service, food and facilities are also below average. If you want to be constantly locked out of your room, waiting 40+ mins for mediocre overpriced food, and stuck without wifi then stay here, otherwise stay elsewhere.
