Green Turtle Backpackers Guesthouse

We arrived and no one else was staying at the hostel. When we booked the bus to El Nido, we were told we were going to be dropped off at our hostel there. Instead, we had to pay 3000 pesos each extra to be dropped at our hostel. We were not informed about this from reception. The hostel was clean, but was very quiet and atmosphere was depressing tbh.

it's OK but not the best

Puedo decir que todos nos alojamos en este hostal porque pensábamos que estaba cerca del terminal de buses, pero NO lo está. El terminal lo trasladaron a otro lugar!

When I got into bed I realise my bed hadn’t been changed from the previous person and was covered in their hairs, this also happened to my friends bed! The bathrooms are so small you can’t sit on toilet seat properly.

War nur eine Nacht da, um am nächsten Morgen zu fliegen. Nur 15 min zum Flughafen, ansonsten kann ich wenig zum Hostel sagen: Betten und Bad war sauber, Curtains vorhanden, aber nicht wirklich abdunkelnd

The bed was comfy and we got a decent night of sleep, however the AC was not working properly therefore it was warm, the curtains were too short so privacy was medium, no towels so bring your own and coffee was not complimentary. Difficult to find a good place to eat in the evening. Relatively close to the airport.

Stayed for one night before catching an early flight. The hostel location was no where near any restaurants and the hostel didn’t provide any food. The room itself was nice and the beds were comfy. However, the aircon was set too high and it was just as hot inside as out, and even when I requested it to be put lower, the staff came back and turned it up again later. Wouldn’t recommend staying longer than a night. The staff were helpful by booking a taxi to the airport.

Pretty decent hostel : I’ve arrived at night and had to wait a long time to check-in cause there was no one. The room are quite small and no real space for bags and stuff. The bathroom could be better..

Douche et sanitaire en mauvais état

Staff was helpful with booking tours and transport and on-site breakfast was very convenient. The bathrooms are TINY. Thankfully, they have separate ones for showers.

Superbe hostel avec un personnel chaleureux et accueillant. Si il y a des transferts à faire jusqu’à la gare ou dans d’autres villes ils s’occupent de commander les transports. Ambiance très relax. Top

This was a great place to stay for my 1 night in puerto princesa. I arrived early on a flight and they let me check in early which was very kind. They helped me to organise tours and a transfer to my next spot, all very seamless. I was the only person in my room, it was very clean and comfy. The shower is good, it was an en-suite. There is a toilet there too and another one too by the hangout area for use. The hangout area is cool! I also did my laundry quickly and cheaply

Great hostel for a night or two if travelling from PPS airport (easy to get to via tuktuk). Travelled with a group of friends and stayed for a night before going on to El Nido the following day (easy to arrange this at reception). Very friendly staff and lovely family-run restaurant opposite serving great local food. We weren't actively seeking social life in Puerto Princesa so wouldn't be able to comment on this, but was a great pick for a stop over and excellent value for money!

A better hostel in Puerto Princesa doesn't exist! A familiar hostel with big rooms and confortable beds. the bathroom is basic, but it is enough. Everything is clean and there is a terrace with table and sofa. It is out of the city center, but the city is not so alive, so better stay in a confortable and quiet place. I was completly alone during my stay, but the staff made my Christmas experience great! they also arrange tours and trasfer to El Nido for a very good price!

Great hostel if you just need a few nights in coron ! Good tours though the hostel. Nice and clean + quiet area

It was very clean and basic, but all my needs were met. Close to the airport, and the property helped organise day trips to the underground caves, as well as organise a shuttle bus to pick me up and take me to El Nido. Great value for money, would stay again.

Really nice hostel for one night

Es ist ein sehr sauberes und süsses Hostel. Das Personal war freundlich. Wir hatten in einem Dorm zwei Betten gebucht und hatten am Ende den Dorm für uns allein. Die Lage des Hostels ist ganz gut. Nicht allzuweit vom Flughafen und dem Zentrum. Man muss jedoch ein Taxi oder TukTuk nehmen. Einzig bemängeln würde ich das enge Platzverhältnis in den Toiletten. Sie sind jedoch einwandfrei sauber und funktionieren.

Such a great and clean hostel and perfect if you have only one night before going to the airport. The staff is super nice and friendly and the breakfast was delicious and cheap. I wouldn't suggest this hostel if you are looking to socialise or party, but it is perfect for a calm layover before your next destination

Great stay! Staff were great, very clean facilities, good breakfast.

This hostel is simply amazing. The stuff is so welcoming and nice, especially Stephanie, she helped me out so much and she was so kind to me. I didn't feel comfortable in my doorm because of another guest and she changed me to a private room without making additional charges. Always caring about how my day was, giving me tips..just being so friendly and kind. The hostel is also very clean and the location is good with some nice restaurants in the proximity.

Definitely stay here if your in the area or close by. Friendly family based staff. VERY helpful and kind. Need bikes? No problem had them in 5 mins. Rooms are clean with air con and curtains. Nice warm or hot shower if needed. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you!

Everything was perfect ! Beds allowed us to have a very private space, AC functional, area not to noisy and the staff waited for us until 11:15pm. Nevertheless showers didn't have a lot of pressure.

Perfect place for a layover!

Nice hostel with comfy beds and privacy curtains. It is out of town so feels a bit out of the way with not much around it. My bed unfortunately didn’t have a plug but all the others in the room seemed to. Big lockers so plenty of place to store things

Friendly and accomodating staff. Place is few minutes away from city proper, after the road construction i think it will be more accessible. I came in so late, 11pm but the staff waited for me. Facilities is good and place is clean.

Good hostel for one nights stay and located close to the airport. Breakfast was also good! I was able to book my bus through the hostel to El Nido too

Très bien équipée et confortable en revanche première fois que j’ai un accueil aussi désagréable aux Philippines. C’est dommage. Localisation un peu éloignée.

Het hostel was prima! Goed schoon alleen er kwam bijna geen water uit de douche. De gezamenlijke ruimte is lekker om te chillen. De locatie is ver.
