Lastimosamente, la habitación tenía goteras por lo cual no pudimos quedarnos no teníamos donde pasar la noche.

Lage ist super, wir durften auch früher in das Hostel einchecken, Mitarbeiter sind nett. Uns hat nur der Schimmelgeruch gestört, was durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit in Salento geschuldet ist.

Pros: - just outside of town so not in the middle of it all but only a short walk to town and bus stop. - clean and well presented room with good shower. - decent breakfast. Cons: - walls are thin so can be noisy. - some of the staff are pleasant enough but some don’t understand the basics of working in hospitality. A member of staff was playing load videos on his phone in the breakfast area. A cleaner was shouting across the courtyard at 0730. - communal kitchen was filthy and ill ...
Muy buena atención en una especie de hotel. El desayuno muy rico. La pega es que para llegar al centro tienes que andar 10 minutos por calles no muy bien iluminadas
Very good service in a kind of hotel. very rich breakfast. the catch is that to get to the center you have to walk 10 minutes through not very well lit streets
More like a hotel rather than hostel, breakfast was good on the terrace with a good choice, slightly out of the main area of town but salento is small so you don’t really notice. Allowed us to leave bags and use the facilities when we had an overnight bus to our next destination which was very helpful!
It's located a few minutes away from the town center, which is great if you want a bit of peace and quiet. It's very couples/family-oriented, so not the type of hostel where to make friends necessarily as a solo traveler. Breakfast is good and the deep tissue massage is to die for, just what I needed after hours of walking in Valle de Cocora. Facilities are simple but clean and comfortable.

Muy central a todo en Salento. Las personas que trabajan aqui, muy amables - te hacen sentir bienvenido. Los cuartos son muy comodos y limpios. El desayuno rico, y las vistas mientras comes, impeccables. Super recomendado!

Hostel a short, safe walk from the main square. Our twin room was clean, and had a nice bathroom and shower. Free breakfast was good with a few options to choose from. Helpful staff
The hostel is super nice! Good location at just a 5 min walk from the center square, super helpful staff, and has everything you need in terms of facilities. The only downside is that there isn’t really any social atmosphere there. No hostel events, people hanging out, etc. That is something they could definitely improve on.
excellent place to stay. delicious and filling breakfast, gym and spa on site and incredible restaurant (Bumi) opposite. best shower we had in Colombia.bed wasn't the comfiest but considering the price it's a no brainer.
Overall, a really nice stay. Reception staff were lovely. Free breakfast included which is a nice touch. Kitchen equiped with the basics. Room was spacious and clean, great shower pressure with hot water. Location is on the edge of town, but that's still only a 10 minute walk into town as Salento is so small. Main con is that it is a hotel, not a hostel, so it is not possible to meet other travellers as a solo traveller. Would be a great stay for a couple.

Todo excelente! Rico desayuno, cómoda habitación pero lo mejor de todo la calidad de atención de su personal. Lisette y el equipo en general fueron demasiado amables y me ayudaron con todo lo que necesité. Muy buen hostal lo recomiendo al 100%

Definitely more of a hotel than a hostel vibe. Nice free breakfast with great view over salento. Staff very friendly. Onsite gym and spa. Out of the city centre so much more peaceful, but only a short walk away. Definitely recommend for a quieter stay in salento!
A really nice hostel just on the edge of Salento a 5min walk away from the town square. Breakfast was great and the staff were really helpful. It’s not really a “social hostel” but that didn’t bother us. It does get quite noisy at night so bring earplugs as the walls are thin (although this seams to be true throughout Colombia).
our stay here was perfect! the rooms were clean, staff were very friendly and the free breakfast was an amazing bonus. It was only a 5 min walk to the main square to get the jeeps so really handy

Really recommend La Floresta for Salento. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast option was great and the views even better. It felt very safe. We had a few small bugs in our room but I think this is due to the fact we were on the ground floor and there was a small gap under our door.
L’hôtel est bien situé à 5 minutes à pieds de la place principale. Le déjeuner inclus est excellent. Le personnel est aimable. Les chambres sont propres et confortables et les serviettes sont inclues. Il y a une bonne connexion wifi. Nous avons aussi accès à un petit gym. Les points négatifs : la cuisine commune qui est désuète et les chambres sont peu insonorisées (nous pouvons entendre les chevaux et chiens dehors). Je donne tout de même 5 étoiles et recommande cet hôtel.
The hotel is well located 5 minutes walk from the main square. Lunch included is excellent. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and towels are included. There is a good wifi connection. We also have access to a small gym. The negative points : the communal kitchen which is outdated and the rooms are poorly soundproofed (we can hear horses and dogs outside). I still give 5 stars and recommend this hotel.

Decent hostel, clean and bright. Location is fairly close to the centre - only 10 mins walk away but there are other hostels that are closer. The free breakfast we had was really good, cereals, omelettes and french toast. Offers for tours through the hostel as well which came in handy!
Great hostel/hotel, lovely front desk staff. Eat at the empanada place down the street. A+
