Hostel Boutique Palmas de Salento

Not all rooms have views; couples' rooms often don't. Our first-floor room had an unlockable window, and management refused a move or safe key initially. However, the next day, the manager upgraded us to a triple room with a view and safe for free. Note: the jacuzzi requires booking and an extra fee, even though it is the main picture in the advertisements. Breakfast is great and staff are friendly, though they don't speak English.

Our room was clean and the free breakfast was good. There is an amazing view from the terrace. We were disappointed to be told that they change 25 USD for an hour in the hot tub. Some of the staff did not seem friendly, but this may have been due to the language barrier, and we did not see many other travellers. The location is good but quite far if you are walking from the bus station. There is a friendly cat there.

One night stay. Ok but does not feel like a hostel more like B & B. No info about area or tours etc. Breakfast included which was good.

Lovely little place with friendly staff. Have to pay for hottub though and the pictures are slightly misleading. Also said it was rated 10/10 when we booked it but wouldn’t go that far. Room was cute and comfy though

Hele aardige mensen en een nette schone kamer. Enige nadeel was dat het gebruik van de jacuzzi extra geld kost en dus niet bij de kamer in begrepen zat.

Amazing location with great views Boutique hotel (not hostel) Very clean. Nice spacious room, loved having a balcony. Hot water. Nice breakfast included 5 minute walk to the central plaza of town (note there is a steep hill to walk up)

Great place to stay in Salento

Die Bezeichnung „Deluxe Doppelzimmer“ und die auf Hostelworld gezeigten Bilder sind irreführend. Die Doppelzimmer sind eher klein und haben keinen Ausblick. Das auf Hostelworld gezeigte Zimmer ist ein 4er/Familienzimmer welches deutlich teurer ist. Da noch ein 3er Zimmer mit Ausblick frei war, durften wir in dieses wechseln. Das sind tolle Zimmer. Generell ist alles sehr sauber, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und ruhige Lage am Ortsrand, aber nur 5min vom zentralen Platz etc...

It could be the best hostel in Salento. Great view and helpful staff. Unfortunately there is a viajero hostel next to it and they have very loud music every night till 10.30 pm. Couldn’t relax as hoped.

Muy bonito lugar, acogedor y de buen tamaño las habitaciones, exelente servicio y amabilidad de parte del personal. El inconveniente es que esta un tanto escondido, pero se ahí en fuera todo genial.

Le personnel est aimable. Le déjeuner inclus est très bon ! L’endroit est propre et accueillant, et la vue est incroyable ! C’est très tranquille, par contre notre chambre était collée sur la réception celui fait que le matin il y avait du bruit. Nous avons tout de même adoré notre expérience, le hostel en vaut vraiment la peine !

Really clean and spacious. The showers worked well and the hot water was plentiful. You also get a stunning mountainside view. If you’re looking for a social hostel to meet others this probably isnt it but all else is really good.

Great place to stay in Salento

Lovely stay here. The staff were helpful, fantastic hot powerful showers, soft bedsheets and beautiful views. Disappointed that the hot tubs don’t work (and don’t look to have been for a while) as they are heavily shown in the marketing photos. Some noise from the hostel behind if staying in the back rooms. Just under 10 min walk into the centre of town.

Very kind and welcoming hostel! The staff is incredibly friendly and supportive! None of our requests were declined and we felt very welcome here! We wish you all the best and we are looking forward to visit you again!

I only stayed there for one night but I want to leave this review because this place really deserves it. I got really sick before my flight back home unfortunately and hence had to take care about a lot of things. The hotel staff was extremely supportive and generous and in case you're reading this, I can't thank you enough!! They were fine with a prolonged checkout and helped me answering a lot of questions, including renting a taxi for me and helping w with food. They were always making sure, ...

Schönes Hostel (eher Hotel) mit wahnsinnig gutem Ausblick. Das Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit. Zum Frühstück gab es verschiedene Optionen und alles super lecker

Friendly and helpfull staff in a good and clean hostel nearby el centro! Recommend;)
