This hostel gave me lice and has read my messages and not compensated me. The lice was from the climbing lesson where they did not clean or disinfect any of the equipment used. It was extremely disappointing as this has now become a major problem Ive had to deal with. Other than that the hostel was just alright. Clearly not a clean environment due to the lice and lack of cleaning. The staff are all volunteers there basically on summer vacation. I was one of the only guests with more than 5 staf...
Bonjour, nous n’avons pas pu dormir à l’auberge de jeune car nous avons été renfermé dehors. Nous sommes parti manger à grenade et quand nous sommes revenu a 23h la porte été fermé à clef, sens nous laisser les clefs! Tout le monde dorment, personne répondait nous avons donc dû dormir dans notre voiture.
We went out to eat at the grenade and when we came back at 11pm the door was locked, meaning we left the keys! everyone was sleeping, no one answered so we had to sleep in our car.
Le lieu n'etait pas fait pour moi,ideal pour les personnes qui viennent faire de l'escalade mais pas autre chose. ne pensez pas y dormir paisiblement, l'ambiance ne s y prete pas. Pas de professionnalisme de la part des hôtes, cependant sympas et en mode cool! Chambre ok, SDB ok, cuisine impratiquable, jardin bohème pas chic! Courage a vous pour la piscine.
The place wasn't right for me,ideal for people who come to climb but nothing else. don't think and sleep peacefully, the atmosphere doesn't suit it. no professionalism on the part of the hosts, however nice and cool! room ok, SDB ok, impractical cuisine, bohemian garden not chic! courage to you for the pool!
This hostel was strange. First the good things: great facilities and beautiful location. Now onto the bad… this hostel can only host 12 guests and at the time i was there had only 6. Yet the hostel has 9 staff living and relaxing on the small premises. It felt very much like a share house, the kitchen and public spaces were always full of staff and guests were left to find other corners to occupy. I felt as if i was intruding into someone’s home, they were overall very unwelcoming and unprof...
This place is full of bed bugs, we left and we were full of spot very itching everywere. That's the mainly problems of this place. They knew it and didn't say or do anything. The rest was ok, the People are nice and the place is beautiful.

Chambres et emplacement impeccable. Personnel sympathique. Par contre: vaisselle sale un peu partout, on s’est fait piquer de la bouffe/ vin dans le frigo, les hôtes qui discutent de façon désobligeante des clients. On ne s’attendait pas à un 5 étoiles, loin de là, mais un peu de discipline de la part du personnel et des invités ferait un grand bien.
Rooms and location impeccable. friendly staff. on the other hand: dishes are sold everywhere, you get a bite of food/wine in the fridge, hosts who discuss customers in a disrespectful way. we didn't expect a 5 stars, far from it, but a little discipline from staff and guests would do a great deal of good.
A great hostel in Cogollos de la Vega, a cute village tucked beneath beautiful cliffs and only about 45 minutes from Granada. It's a perfect location for anyone who likes hiking, climbing, cycling or just generally being near nature. The volunteers and staff are very lovely and the hostel has a communal vibe. I had a wonderful time there and would recommend it :)
Initially, this hostel seemed lovely. Lots of cool people, amazing location and activities. However, unfortunately during our stay we found bed bugs through out all the beds in our room. To make matters worse, we found out later from another guest that people had been bitten and reported the bed bugs just 2 nights before so the staff knowingly put us into a bedroom with active infestation and no warning. When we left early in the morning, we were accused of “sneaking out” to avoid being seen...

Absolutely incredible hostel in a really beautiful place! Everyone was so kind the minute I arrived and made me feel at home. I’d definitely recommend the climbing courses they offer Saskia and Janka are amazing teachers. All of the volunteers working were really friendly and Liv is really helpful with everything. I’d definitely recommend staying here it’s an unforgettable experience!
Had a phenomenal stay, the hostel was clean and the atmosphere was really friendly! I’d really recommend the 3 day climbing course that they offer even if you’re a beginner. I had only gone bouldering indoors a few times but after the course feel comfortable enough to lead climb independently, Edu is an incredible teacher!
This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was so lovely, the atmosphere was great, and the views are wonderful. The only thing that was difficult for me was the location because the bus runs every hour, but that has nothing to do with the hostel just letting people know when they are booking to check bus schedules and bus stops (they are confusing)! I enjoyed my stay here very much. Everyone seemed like a family, and I wish I could've stayed longer than one night.
I love the place so much. Like to come back:)
I really recommend this to anyone who wants to be in a very beautiful mountain place with good staff that creates an amazing experience. Clean and feels like home

Most wonderful hostel I've have ever stayed at🥹I extend my stay and cancelled oktoberfest plans.Janka, Bambi and Adam, all made me feel so welcome, and part of the family immediately. Learned so much in climbing lessons with Janka, best teacher I've had:) the hostel is a climbers paradise, with beautiful walls to climb, everywhere!!

Solana de Granada is a magical place. I loved everything about it - the beautiful surroundings, the garden, the handmade pieces of furniture, the amazing people (staff, volunteers and guests), the communal atmosphere, the cooking together, the laughing together. It is a place where everyone will feel included, where you can be on your own or spend your time with people, where you can be active or relax. It is hands down the best hostel that I've been to.
Staying here was such a great experience. Rock Climbing sessions with Edu were amazing, he's a talented coach. I learned a lot in the sessions. He's an expert on Sport Psychology as well and it helped me climb paths that I thought I could not. Definitely recommend staying here!

Loved my time here!
Really enjoyable time to fully relax at this hostel which feels more like a share house than a hostel which made it super unique and loved the vibe. If you’re into climbing this is a must, I’m a hiker and enjoyed my time but thought there would be more trails around. I did a taster session for rock climbing for my first time and it was unreal, I loved it, Bambi my teacher was amazing and I’d highly recommend giving it a go!
