The Pink Palace Hotel & Hostel

WORST HOSTEL EVER!!! I have been backpacking around Europe for 2+ months and this was the worst hostel. It’s DISGUSTING. And bizarre atmosphere of older people staying as a hotel, not social at all, on a gross dirty beach. Please please skip if you read this

Staff are so rude here, don’t bother. Paid 10 euros to get dropped at the port, they ended up dropping me 15 mins off from the port and I had to walk with all my luggage. Not to mention staff on the front are rude and have so much attitude, never experienced this before at a hostel. They try and suck up to you at the end by handing you a little gift and telling you to leave them a good review, no thanks.

The vibe is good with the people you meet i had the best time but still couldn’t get over how gross the room is. Also the staff at reception are very rude and unclear of where to stand for the airport shuttle as i missed mine due to a lack of instructions provided and she wasn’t helpful at all and acted like it was my fault when it was hers.

So so dissapointed. The supposed social area was dead; pool bar was closed and looked like it hadn't been open in months, pool is a jacuzzi which is unusable in summer due to heat so area was a scorching hot deadzone. No evening socialising facilitated. Excursions cost 20-120$. No security/lockers in rooms, friend had 80$ stolen. Doors barely lock. Not allowed to use kitchen, meals cost extra $. Laundry is 15$ per load. Overall, this was a place you needed to leave in order to relax or have fun.

I wouldn't personally really call this place a hostel. It wasn't ideal for backpackers and my '4 bed dorm' was a shared room with an old woman who hated me. It didn't feel very safe and it was in a part of Corfu that is quite difficult to get to and from so I didn't get to do lots of exploring. if you're a backpacker or a solo traveler, I wouldn't recommend it. also there was no lock on my bathroom door.

Terrible! But the view was nice, the staff at the beach bar were amazing, but the room were not clean, never again !

This place is an absolute dump. Dirtiest hostel ive ever stayed at. There was candy wrappers on the floor when I arrived and were still there when I left. I think its safe to assume those candy wrappers have been there for years. To get to the hostel room from check in its a about a 10 minute STEEP walk. NO LOCKERS AT ALL! Pros: shuttle service was convenient & cheap. Atmosphere was decent. In all fairness this placed lived up to my expectations, I had little to no hope based off reviews.

Dirty. Neither the bedroom or bathroom had been cleaned before we arrived. There was glass all over the bedroom floor, which later caused an accident. Staff didn’t care. The reviews don’t talk about the steep climb up/down to the beach building apartments - not ideal if you have heavy bags in the heat (approx 10 mins from reception). The only good thing about this place is the location and beach front access. However, an overall overpriced hostel.

I loved my stay at the Pink Palace! It is far from the main corfu town however, they offer a shuttle service for a small cost which I think was worth it because I loved the smaller town vibe of pink palace and it was some of the best views of the island as well. They also provide many activities to keep you busy and entertained seeing the island. We had booked a hostel room, but they gave us a hotel room with a balcony overlooking the water for no extra charge! We also did the ATV tour which was...

I had a wonderful stay at pink palace, wow what a wonderful place and a breathtaking view! There is the opportunity to go to a perfect beach in less then 10 minutes, depending where you are accomondated. The yoga lessons with the kind and wonderful teachers let me feel comfortable even as beginner. Although it was a bit messy and chaotic because I wasn't there in the season, I didn't want to miss the nice experience, the kindness of Magda, the delicious food, the sunsets and the cute community...

Was there the beginning of October and it was empty with very few events going on, kinda felt like a ghost town on the property a lil odd

Officially the strangest hostel I've ever stayed in.

Safe and fun hostel!! Heaps to do!! Very party atmosphere loved it!! Beaches are stunning and very close. Would highly recommend!!

Bit of a run down hostel, no social vibe, okay for a few nights if you have a car to explore the island

The atmosphere and staff were phenomenal, always ready to help and chat with guests. Showers desperately need help as they are very very slow draining. Overall, great time at the Pink Palace

I booked the deluxe hostel room and really enjoyed it. The volunteers were super nice, shuttle worked out perfect for me from airport and to the port. Loved how close it was to the beach. Dinner buffet was on point

I would maybe avoid a little in the down season if you are looking for a party. But it's nice, beautiful location and quite good value for Corfu!

No kitchen more of a hotel style, huge place. Bar was fun.

Such a cool spot! View from my balcony was insane like no other hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Feels like a view that should be from a 5 star hotel. Beach in front of hostel pretty nice. Only let down was the cleanliness of the bathroom but not too bad if it’s just a couple nights

Il manque peut-être une cuisine mais sinon l’auberge est juste incroyable !! J’ai passé des moments exceptionnels. L’auberge propose également des activités tel que du kayak, quad ou encore du paddle. Je ne peux que vous conseiller cette auberge !

Decent hostel and great if you’re looking for a party. Bathrooms become dirty very quickly as the showers don’t drain properly and there are no lockers in the rooms so keep that in mind. In terms of price it’s decent and the town nearby is quite quaint but activities are a bit overpriced at times. Shuttle bus decent and leaves on time generally.
