Magic Hostel

Well, what can I say. A very disappointing stay at magic. Staff were beyond rude and unwelcoming, as agreed by other guests there. Sadly, it feels this hostels main income is fining its guests. Including fines just for washing your clothes in the bathroom, amongst many other things! The cleaner comes into the room at the crack of dawn, mopping and making as much noise as humanly possible. Still didn’t disguise the constant smell of shit in the air. She left the door open constantly, allowing

Be careful! We had bedbugs in our bed and they didn’t want to give our money back after we told them we wanted to leave. We got our money back after speaking to the manager

one room, no lock or anything on door. not social at all but this is quite common for phi phi. pricey considering what you’re paying for. bed was quite uncomfortable too

I feel horrible for saying this as the staff were the loveliest people however the beds were so uncomfortable I had to find another hostel to stay at. There was also a huge gap between the bed and the wall on the top bunk which things kept falling through in the night. Can't say I would recommend this place

Was okay for a bed to sleep in however a few issues. Firstly the staff member did not care about any visitors and would be in and out of the room all day turning lights on, turning the ac off, cleaning early in the morning etc. secondly we had no water in the bathroom for the toilet shower or sink for literally half out stay. She said it was an island issue but the hostel next door had no issue with water so I do not believe this. Overall the host was constantly meddling and made the stay bad

It was okay because in Phi Phi all the accomodations are very full, but it’s just a hostel to sleep and that’s it.

It was not clean, the bathrooms were not nice. It smelled mould everywhere . But we only stayed there a short amount of time and it worked out but wouldn’t stay here for longer

The property was clean, fresh toast and Jam was offerd every morning along with cookies free water and further away from all the action.

if you come to Phi Phi and want to party with bedbugs this is the Hostel for you!!!

good location but not really much going on. the door to the rooms opened straight out onto a main street so anyone could have walked in

we stayed in magic hostel for two nights and our time was not too magical. We were aghast to discover it was just one room, nay a hostel. Whilst free breakfast was appreciated (a soggy biscuit and a third cousin to jam), we found magic hostel to be adequate, but not home

Phenomenal hostel! It was well kept and clean with comfy beds. The AC worked very well and the bathrooms had hot water. Also a great location. Huge perk that there’s complimentary toast through out the day

Definitely not one of the best hostels we’ve stayed in whilst in Thailand, however by Phi Phi standards this is probably one of the best hostels you’re going to get for the price. The door to the dorm basically opens on to the street and people coming and going constantly, but this seemed the case with most other hostels too, and you are given a locker. Decent bed with curtain and showers were fine too. Nice staff who cleaned each day and much less noisy than down the road so got good sleep.

Das Personal war super, es gab bei Check in eine Wasserflasche & wir haben einen Schlüssel für die Schließfächer bekommen.

Decent stay

Didn’t really like this hostel. Very basic, and not the cleanest. Location was good - as in away from the loud music, so you can sleep. But I couldn’t wait to leave.
