+ Location was great. I got charged twice and they could not help me. I wated 2 hours trying to get my miney back which they held and even though i showed thrm.physically they could not help.umtil i paid twice. Horrible experience.

- Aufgrund einer erheblichen Zugverspätung habe ich das Hotel gegen 01:00 Uhr nachts gebucht. An der Rezeption wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass sich das Buchungsportal innerhalb von etwa 30 Minuten aktualisieren würde und ein Check-in anschließend möglich sei. In den folgenden Stunden habe ich in regelmäßigen Abständen an der Rezeption nachgefragt, jedoch wurde mir jedes Mal mitgeteilt, dass ein Check-in trotz vorliegender Buchungsbestätigung über Booking.com nicht möglich sei und das a&o Buchungsportal sich akualisieren muss. Gegen 05:00 Uhr morgens habe ich mich schließlich gezwungen gesehen, auf den ersten verfügbaren Zug zurückzugreifen, ohne das gebuchte Zimmer nutzen zu können. Trotz mehrfacher Versuche habe ich auch drei Wochen später keine Rückerstattung erhalten. Zudem blieb meine schriftliche Beschwerde bislang unbeantwortet.

- Room was not clean, beds were not dressed. Very noisy as in front of one of the Main Street.
+ I’ve never stayed in a non-comfortable, really bad stay in terms of its facilities, rooms, especially very poor service like this hotel. For example, “hard to check-in, can’t believe you give linen to guests, never heard/ experienced that in my entire life until now at this very poor standard hotel.

- Very cold rooms with no heating, only a tiny electric heater; mold; almost everything is worn out and old, broken. I am extremely disappointed with the condition of the hotel. The staff is polite.
+ Frühstück war gerade so … kein Obst vorhanden Zimmer zu klein… das Bett war nur von einer Seite Zu erreichen andere Seite musste man von der Gegenseite rübergehen Und das Zimmer ist sehr hellhörig… schlafen war nur mit Schlaftablette möglich Die dusche hat an den silikonfugen Schimmel angesetzt Die Dusche war verstopft… und obwohl wir das am morgen gemeldet hatten… war am Abend immer noch Wasser in der Dusche mit dem dreckwasser vom morgen Allein durch diese Sachen ist das Zimmer zu teuer Hier wäre eine entsprechende Entschädigung Von mindestens 60,- Euro Wünschenswert Im übrigen müsste das enge Zimmer im beschrieben erwähnt werden Vg Helmut und Martina Heß
- Die Größe der Zimmer Sanieren der duschen Schalldämmend der Zimmer Frühstück Raum etwas stielvoller herrichten Obst bereitstellen

Good overall!
Not my first time at an A&O, they are very reliable in the hotel vibe. Very professional atmosphere, but a clean place to sleep with locker space under bunks. Exceptionally close to the main station and the old town, really great for a couple backpackers.
Staff not professional during check in, no locker was provided which is a no brainer in other hostels, there was no respect for the silence period, people arriving at midnight when others are sleeping who should be instructed to keep utmost silence or assigned another room to not disturb the whole dorm.
There are no lockers in the room. The place was full of children running and screaming through the halls. Why would a hostel let children stay there? The people in there were dirty and some guy was yelling at the wall in my room. Don’t stay here trying to save a few dollars. Would not recommend. I checked in and checked out within 15 minutes.
Great location, very close to the train, bus, and U-bahn station. The room was very clean and comfortable. Before check-in and after check-out I utilised the luggage storage, and on both occasions nobody checked that I actually had a reservation or that I was only taking my own luggage which didn't feel very secure. The kitchen is extremely small, only big enough for one person to use at a time, and does not provide any cutlery, bowls, plates, or pans. I would not come here if you plan to ...
The hostel is operated like a hotel meaning it isn’t young travelers and more random other people and families there were even school trips staying which means it not ideal for solo travel but if u need a 1 or 2 nights to crash its close to the station. The bed situation is weird as 2 people in the room will have to sleep side by side and the beds can barely be pulled apart. The service Is also not very attentive / understaffed so when it’s busy check in or asking for something takes a long ...
Good for one night stay
Other A&O in Frankfurt and Hamburg costing only 12 Euros but it's has costed me 27 euros.
Great value as always with A and O truly can’t complain about anything when you think about the value for money in my opinion! The staff were super friendly and they have a good selection of food and drinks here, I would definitely use again, unfortunately whilst I was there there were some people banging on the walls making some noise at one point in the night but honestly nothing that disturbed my sleep or to worry about, some people just can’t behave themselves haha, topservice from AandO...
Had to go resolve a dispute with another customer being booked in the same bed. Was assigned to a 6-bed room when I paid for a 4-bed. No lockers or safes. Location was good. Most staff were friendly. Nice luggage storage
Das Hostel ist definitiv nur für kurze Aufenthalte gedacht - für länger als eine Übernachtung hat es mir persönlich zu wenig zum "Wohlfühlen". Die Zimmer und Bäder waren sauber, Ein- und Auschecken hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Insgesamt eine gute Unterkunft, aber für mich nichts zum länger verweilen, da es sehr anonym war.
The hostel is definitely only meant for short stays - for longer than one overnight stay there was personally too little for me to "Feel Good". The rooms and bathrooms were clean, check-in and check-out worked without any problems.
