Yaks House Hostel

Staff nice, however smell of weed, a lot of noise from the street as windows were badly insulated and there were stains on our sheets as well as hair on the floor when we got to the room

Really disappointing hostel. Just go for better options. The breakfast is good tho.

Wij boekten een privé kamer met twee single beds. Hebben acht nachten geboekt maar zijn na de eerste nacht uitgecheckt. Het was te gehorig, er is totaal geen geluidsisolatie en als je pech hebt (zoals wij) met de mensen in de kamer naast je hoor je alles, elk woord dat ze zeggen, elke kuch en elke snurk. Daarnaast hebben ze geen deur stangen waardoor de deuren naar de badkamer en toilet elke keer dichtvielen met een harde klap. Voor het geld kun je betere hostels vinden in leukere buurten.

Me and my friend got a private room, it was very nice. Ac works and beds are okay. Staff were always very nice. But the location is a bit far from everything

Mein Hostelaufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Das Personal war total freundlich und hat für das(im Preis inbegriffenen) Frühstück auch Extrawünsche angenommen. Ich war in einem 6er Raum, das nur für Frauen ist. Alle waren super nett, es war richtig entspannt und ich habe mich sehr sicher gefühlt! Das Hostel liegt ca. 20min zu Fuß von der Khaosan Road entfernt und hat eine gute Busanbindung, um zur nächsten Bahnstation zu kommen. Insgesamt hat es mir dort sehr gut gefallen, ich würde wiederko...

Decent hostel. The bed was comfy and the room was well air conditioned. Staff were incredibly friendly. The stay included a breakfast which was pretty good. Only major downside is the location, it’s quite far away from most of the main touristy spots in the city.

Stayed one night here and it was great, the facilities were clean. 24/7 check in was so useful and staff were helpful. The only thing is that you wake up sweating !! A single fan is not enough to cool a room of six apparently, so be prepared for the heat during the night

Hostel is very nice but I would suggest it only for Nomads/Couples and not party people. It is not really in the center area that for me it is good if you prefer to chill.

Nice hostel, staff are lovely and very accommodating. Not a very social hostel and not great location but was perfect to hop straight into bed after our flight. Just a bypassing stay.

very clean, felt like a hotel. got a private room had a nice view. not social but didn’t really try to be social to be fair. cafe was good, free breakfast is always a plus. elevator was nice. front desk lady was very kind. only thing was its on a busy busy road and not super close to shops and that but. grabs are cheap so. :))

Amazing stay at Yaks, great staff and the beds are good. Just know that you are in between multiple highways and there are no good restaurants or basically anything around without walking a long distance. It’s not the greatest or most fun neighborhood. But the place really good.

Sehr nettes Personal :) Wir würden immer wieder kommen! Mehr Kleiderhaken im Zimmer wären toll.

Everything you expected it to be, breakfast was good and very filling, staff were lovely and helpful, place was clean. Quiet which was good for us but maybe not if you want a social vibe.

Very nice, but far from the city

I don’t usually review hostels, but this one definitely deserves a review, banging breakfast, great rooms and good bathrooms, the staff is very nice and will help you if you want some advice where to go, I had a really good stay in this hostel

Stayed in private room with shared bathroom - the hostel was clean and the staff were lovely. On the other side of the river but it's very easy to Grab or get the river taxi into the city centre from Phra Pinklao Bridge. The bed was a bit hard but this was made up for with the fab free breakfast and coffee in the morning! There is a bit of a stink in the bathrooms but we were not affected in the bedroom. Very good for the price, thanks :)

Amazing clean hostel, rooms were very nice and simple, close enough to Bangkok centre to just get grab to wherever! Breakfast was so good too.

Wet nice facility. Very clean and quiet centrally located but away from craziness of Khao San Rd but walking distance to it. Would highly recommend it. Breakfast was sumptuous. Front desk support 24/7 and very helpful.

i stayed here with my friend for around a week to get over the jet lag before we moved on to other places in thailand. it’s a great hostel, really clean and friendly staff and nice breakfast included. it’s a quiet hostel though, so if that is not what you’re looking for then this isn’t the place for you. i enjoyed my stay here and would recommend!!!!!

Very good! Very hot in the rooms though, you need to insert your card to turn on the AC so it takes a few hours to coolio down once you get in the room.
