The Blocks Hostel

Paid for 3 nights, left after 1. Avoid

This place was scary bad. Worst I have ever been. They were under construction and it was entirely unlivable - dust and garbage everywhere, pitch black hallways... but even apart from that it was SO tiny and cramped everywhere. The room felt like a prison cell with rusty/corroded metal and concrete and smelled bad. The bathroom was filthy and moldy. And, somehow it was more expensive than a lot of other hostels! I had to leave after a few hours. Staff didn't really speak English,but werefriendly

Dans l'ensemble l'hostel est correcte , le personnels nettoie toute la journée les chambres qui sont propres néanmoins certaine toilette on de là rouille

The location is a bit sketchy, being behind several businesses doing sex work (expect to be cat-called on your way in). The hostel provides no atmosphere or social opportunities of its own. The rooms were air-conditioned and comfortable, if tight. The luggage storage is just putting your bag next to an un-manned reception desk.

Its one of the cheapest Hostel and you feel that. One time the room was great, the other time it was very dirty with some questionable roomates. The location is great though. Staff was nice when you could find it.

I had a small 4 bed room, with private en-suite, these rooms are very small and not much to put your items beds was comfortable, but aircon smelt of damp

Had a problem with AC at night, but they fixed us a new room immediately. Good problem solving:)
