+ The owner was nice. Also it’s a real social hostel. The willingness to mingle was real and common among the male guests I met. Don’t know about the women since I didn’t see any.
- It’s a typical youth hostel that doesn’t care anything except sociability. The entire hostel is noisy, the walls are so thin so you can perfectly hear quiet conversations in the next room. There’s no soundproofing anywhere. The public toilets are of the absolute minimum quality, though I admit they were cleaned. Windows in the rooms cannot be opened, while air conditioning blow directly to your face. Even the private rooms are not quiet at all, due to the lack of soundproofing. If you’re young and conversations are the only thing you value, then it’s passable. But once you hit 30 and no longer care about the so-called “sociability”, then the place is a nightmare. Plus, like many other party hostels, there’s a certain degeneracy in the air, though it’s hard to describe in words.

- We stayed 3 nights and cannot recommend this hostel. The room was very small, with only a bed and AC. Instead of proper windows, there were just bars without glass which meant no sound protection at all. The common areas were unhygienic. The shower drain was blocked, bringing back dirty water and trash from previous guests. Used personal items (razors, toothbrushes, hair, etc.) were left behind and not cleaned. The garden constantly smelled of weed. Sleeping here was almost impossible. Because of the missing windows and thin walls, every sound travels directly into the room. The first night, guests were shouting, singing, playing loud music, and slamming doors from around 10:30 PM until 6:00 AM. We went to the staff to report the issue, she told us she would “kick them out” which she did not, and which then lead to another night of noise disturbance (again, shouting and singing, showering with music at 1:40am). We understand hostels are social spaces, but this was far from socializing, it was total disregard for other guests. This place may be cheap, but it is not worth it. Cleanliness, maintenance and respect for guests are missing. There are far better options in Bangkok for the same price or less where you can actually rest.

- Severe verbal violence and racism !!! My small warm advice for any backpackers or travelers, stay away from this place and the woman she runs the place. First I want to say after all, that I feel that there is racism and anti-Semitism here beneath the surface, keep it in mind!!! The owner of the place burst into my room, which was locked. I asked her to leave. It was a private room. I told her respectfully to leave and that I would finish in a few minutes and I would go out and talk to her. She was nervous and out of control and lost it and was unable to speak and listen respectfully. I closed gently the door and then her partner arrived and burst into the room, saying that I hadn't paid and all that nonsense. But the truth is that I had paid and she knew it! They spoke to me in such a disgusting and disrespectful way that I can't remember the last time I experienced this. After the two women refused, I was forced to leave my private room, yes, the room I had paid for! They asked me to leave, even though I offered to resolve the stupid matter in a pleasant way and pay in advance for the next night. The woman who runs the place simply couldn't control herself like a reasonable person and talk. She was simply nervous. She cursed at me and raised her index finger at me. I've been traveling for several years and I've never had such a terrible experience, and certainly not during a vacation. The place actually could be nice but probably not with the woman who is currently running it. In conclusion I say, that I don't feel good writing about a someone's business like that. but, believe me I tried few time to speak, to talk to her and explain her mistake to her but there was no one to talk to. So.. honestly as a nomad who has been traveling around Europe, Asia and around the world for a long time I would clearly recommend avoiding coming here. All the best to good people☺️

- Too many people for too less space. Only cold water and dirty and old bathrooms. Especially the mens corner hair everywhere

- I had a dreadful stay at this hotel in Bangkok. The bathrooms were filthy and extremely depressing, making the stay uncomfortable from the start. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was only turned on after 7 PM, leaving the rooms hot and sticky during the day. It is, without doubt, the most disgusting place I have ever seen. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

Es un sitio maravilloso, lleno de gente maravillosa gracias a Sam , que es la dueña más atenta que nadie, me ayudó en todo y eso que me surgieron varios problemas en bangkok, las habitaciones super bien super limpias la gente muy agradable , siempre que venga me voy a quedar aqui :)

Meilleur hostel que nous avons fait durant notre voyage de 7 mois en Asie. La gérante Sam est super accueillante et a des super conseils ! On recommande à fond de faire une étape ici. Merci encore à Sam !!

Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum, buranın sahibi ablamız Türkiyede yaşamış Türkçede biliyor kendisi çok sıcak kanlı ayrıca ilgili, hostelin konumu çok güzel şehrin gürültüsünden kaçabileceğiniz en güzel konumlardan bir tanesi bence ve hostelin oturup kafa dinleyebileceğiniz bahçesi olması harika, temizlik konusuna gelecek olursak o konuda da gayet iyi, odalar 4 kişilik ve fiyat performans😊
Für mich als "alten Travellor" ein Travellor Paradies. Immer, wenn ich in Bangkok bin , mache ich im 4er Dorm Station. Alle sehr freundlich und zugänglich. Der Lärm der Khaosan Road ist nicht zu hören , dafür kann man zu Fuß am Wat Bowonniwet... vorbei laufen und ist sofort im Geschehen der Khaosan Area . Top . Holger aus Germany
Excelente opcion de alojamiento en Bangkok, instalaciones muy comodas, atención muy calida, cerca al gran palacio y a la famosa Khaosan road, los dormitorios compartidos tienen máximo 4 camas, cuentan con aire acondicionado y son extremadamente limpios, sin duda un lugar para volver.
If you're looking for accommodation where you can feel at home, you've come to the right place. The host Sam is warm, helpful and always up for a laugh. You also get to know lots of other travellers here and can spend sociable hours. And the location is also perfect: quiet, but still so central that I usually just set off from here to explore the city. Instead of the initially planned five nights, I extended my stay by another four and left the place with a little melancholy. Many thanks to Sam ...

Had an amazing stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok. The hostel has a really great atmosphere with awesome facilities like a pool table and chess board that make it easy to relax and meet other travellers. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the beds were comfortable and good for getting a solid night’s sleep after a busy day exploring. Quaint place in a quiet neighbourhood. Conveniently placed to quite a few eating places as well as Khao San street. Well managed with helpful volunteers. Sam, the lady who runs the place was helpful and keenly interactive.
