The Lighthouse Hostel Sagres

I stayed here one night and on getting into bed it was dirty and sandy. Given it was late I told the staff the following morning and the girl in reception said it was good to know; no apology, no compensation. I then tried to order breakfast before 11 and they said they closed early due to being busy - not good when guests have planned their day around the opening hours they are informed of. Whilst some of the staff were very nice given the above experiences, this was a disappointing stay

Cold shower sometimes, but ok for me personally :) rest I super good as for hostel. Totally recommend.

Had a lovely stay here and thanks to Charlie the German girl that worked the bar. Friendly and good craic. Would stay here again

El hostal era muy tranquilo y estuvimos muy bien durante los tres días de nuestra estancia. Los bungalows igual necesitan un poquito más de mantenimiento, pero el edificio general y el resto de instalaciones estaban muy bien

Super schönes Hostel mit einem tollen draußen Bereich. Aber leider nicht social mehr Pärchen sind dort. Und ist etwas außerhalb muss immer so 20 min laufen was ok ist.

Really lovely place with nice staff. I enjoyed the yoga in the morning & pizza party at night. I also liked that this leaned more towards people 30+.

Ambiente agradable y buena atención.

An sich tolle Unterkunft, super Küche und die Betten sind echt bequem. Etwas zu wenig Duschen + Toiletten für die Menge an Leuten. Außerdem wurden durchgehend Türen geknallt und so richtig social war es dort nicht. Ist aber natürlich auch immer abhängig von den Leuten dort. Ich würde nochmal herkommen, aber dann mit Privatzimmer :)

Amazinng hostel! Great place to stay. The vibes is do good, so peace, calm, healthy. There is everything you need, everything is well organized. It was a really nice stay, very kind and helpful staff, clean dorms and bathrooms and a really lovely outside area. They also rent boards and wetsuits. We would always come back!

Very very beautiful hostel and very affordable in winter. Very good facilities with a big and clean kitchen. I enjoyed it a lot!

Super proper, zalige sfeer, vriendelijk personeel, volledig uitgeruste keuken en goede bedden (met gordijntjes!). Enige minpuntje is dat het een klein kwartiertje wandelen is naar de winkel.

Loved this hostel! So chill and has so many tables and tucked away spots to go chill, work, work out etc. I'd recommend staying at least 3 nights if you want to get to know people-- most people leave during the day to surf, but it gets more social in the evening. A lot of people do bring cars but I didn't mind the 20 minute walk to the beach. There's also a supermarket 10 minutes walk away. The staff were all so kind and friendly here!
