Landing Pads Brunswick

Texted Matt the hostel manager if I could stay a week longer but he completely ignored my message and because of this. I was told to leave. Even though I asked and paid rent. His ignorance meant I had to find a new place to live on short notice. Just moved to the country and this is what a "Hostel manager" is like. Couldn't organise a p*ss up at a brewery. Most uncaring apology and didn't even help at all. Honestly wouldn't even bother.

I've stayed in LP 4 times and I can honestely say that it is a home away from home. The staff, the people and location are beyond amazing. However, I need to state that the rent has become very unreasonable and is pricing out many good people who make this place what it is. Unfortunately I believe this will ruin the atmosphere at LP, leading to shorter stays and finanical pressure being put on many backpackers already struggling in an expensive country.

Excellent hostel, very well equipped, with power outlets by the beds, a clean kitchen, and bathrooms that are always spotless. A great atmosphere is created among the guests, which personally makes you want to stay there for a long time. I had a great time!

The atmosphere was incredible!!!! I had an great time there. The hostel seems to attract really good and fun people. For the rest it is pretty average.

This is a beautiful place. By far the most I have felt at home in a hostel. As soon as I walked in people wanted to make friends. There are great community events that are planned but also many that happen spontaneously. I stayed in a 12-person dorm, I thought it would feel crowded, but it is very well divided. I had more space than I needed for my things. There are also lockers available. The 19 tram is very near by, it is walking distance to ALDI. There is bicycle parking.

Landing Pads is a working Backpackers dream. The staff and the social vibes are so lovely and the kitchen facilities and common areas are open and inviting to unwind amd chat with other fellow travelers. They even set you up with your food storage space/bag when you arrive and give you a cute lil name tag for your bed. Estoban showed me around my first night at check in and helped me settle in well. Highly recommend if you're new to Melbourne and want to get your bearings of the city.

Had such a great time at Landing Pads, it truly made my Melbourne experience. Everyone is so so friendly and there is an amazing and inclusive culture. Favorite hostel I have stayed in, I highly recommend it.

The Landing Pads was super cozy and had a really warm, family-like atmosphere - it honestly felt more like a big shared house than a typical hostel. It was super clean and well-organized, with regular group activities. The location is great too - right in the heart of Brunswick, close to cafés, bars, and public transport. Perfect for anyone looking for a social, welcoming, and relaxed place.

My best hostel experience to date! The vibes are unbeatable, the staff is helpful beyond belief and the place is as clean as it gets. Look no further this IS the place.

Brunswick is really cool, the atmosphere inside the hostel so nice! I just stayed for a week and although most of the people stay many weeks or even months, I felt very comfortable. The rooms are not the most modern ones, but they have lockers, drawers and you get a towel! I would love to go back.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed. Great location and the best hostel atmosphere I’ve experienced in my travels. It’s a very special place.
