The hostel felt really homey! The people working there are so nice and helped me with what to do with my days. The location is a bit far from the citycenter however i think it’s alright

+ 町の中心から少し離れていますが、バス停からはすぐそばです。イスラム教が色濃い地区なので、ビールの購入が難しいですが、ホテルの人に頼めば、デリバリーサービスの対応をしてもらえます。共同のキッチンがあります。
- 周辺にビールを購入する場所、換金する所がありません。クレジットカード払いをしようとしましたが、あまり経験がなかったようだったので、現金払いにしました。シャワーは水のみでした。

- Está muy alejado del centro. Una mañana hicieron trabajos temprano afuera de la pieza y nos despertaron.

- 住宿地點離市區有距離、蓮蓬頭的水流很小。

- Hordes of mosquitoes in the room, water pressure is too low for showering, floor cleanliness needs improvement, and the cat kept intruding into our room.

- - They turn off the light after midnight in the lobby no matter if you need it. I was doing something on my laptop, so I asked them to keep the lights on for some time. They didn't want it. - The room feels cramped
+ Proprietari super accoglienti, eravamo nella camera famigliare, molto spartana, forse anche troppo ma ok per il prezzo pagato.
- Il fatto che non ci fosse la colazione ma con Grab siamo arrivati facilmente in una bakery.

special thanks to Erna the guide, she made the trip memorable. Good Option if you want to go up mt merbabu alone. most providers are more expensive and only available for groups.
Very clean and chilled hostel. Slightly out of the way but nice to not be on a loud street. Staff were kind and helpful
You would be silly not to stay at this hostel, my entire time travelling this is by far my favourite I have stayed in. The beds are spacious and comfortable and the lounge area is equally comfortable with cats coming to cuddle you. The staff were absolutely incredible, so kind and helpful and offered volcano tours each night. The bathrooms were kept clean as well as the rooms and I just truly cannot recommend this place enough, you would be silly to not stay here.

- Die Lage ist nicht unglaublich gut, keine Restaurants direkt nebenan und auch sonst etwas weit zu fahren zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten

I had an amazing short stay at the sleepy racoon hostel :). There were not too many guests but the staff was so friendly and they helped me with everything I needed. It is a bit far away but for me it was okey, as you can go easy to the city center by motortaxi. :)

Really comfortable hostel with a welcoming and social vibe! I am very happy to have been able to explore Yogyakarta through the activities they offer and the recommendations that I got to explore the area. 😊
Amazing place with amazing people. Big clean space with lot of area besides the dorms and rooms for guests to hang out and spend time together. Mukhtar is really kind and always eager to help guests with their stay and travel and other needs. Slightly away from the city center but easily accessible with grab/gojek or if you like walking even by walk (prawirotaman is 2.5km away). I am definitely going back to sleepy raccoon if I ever go back to jogja.
+ This hostel was more helpful then any I have been through, they constantly check on your stay and offer ways to make your experience better. I booked the wrong location for my bus to Malang, and the owner called the bus company for me and arranged a closer pickup location! Just amazing.
+ Great facilities - can use the stove etc to cook. The air con in the private room was excellent and the room was spacious. The staff and cats were also very friendly and welcoming.
- Perhaps the toilets could’ve cleaned a little more often - one toilet did not have toilet paper replaced in the few nights I stayed there (but there are other toilets)

Highly recommended for travelers or backpackers looking for a hostel in Yogyakarta that’s peaceful and away from the busy crowds. The place is relaxing, green, and very clean, yet still conveniently located just a few minutes from the train station and bus station by Grab.they provide free water refill, coffee, and tea. The atmosphere is very social,I met new friends from many different countries here. The staff and the owner are also very helpful, giving great tips on how to explore Yogya.
