U2 Hostel

Got kicked out due to a double booking at 10pm and was yelled at by staff. Was told that if I don’t comply I’d have to sleep om the street. All I did was ask what went wrong, didn’t try to argue with them or anything. -10 for service. Nobody spoke english so it was hard communicating, but yelling and making weird hand gestures are not the way to go.

Although the place is in a really good spot, I strongly recommend you to find somewhere else, because it's the worst hostel you could ever be! Nothing works at the bedrooms! Air-con broken, fans making a lot of noise but the worst of all is the owner. A very rude and aggressive old man, that doesn't know how to treat people!! Old structure, half-empty hostel, no soap for washing, the important thing is to take off your shoes at the entrance, then the cleanliness leaves much to be desired.

Das war das schlimmste Hostel in dem ich je war! Vorsicht Bettwanzen! Bin für eine Nacht dort gewesen. Die Zimmer sind absolut okay, die Badezimmer sind wirklich eklig. Aber als ich schlafen gehen wollte und auf dem Bett saß hab ich festgestellt, dass das ganze Bett voll mit Bettwanzen war! Musste dann mitten in der Nacht das Zimmer und Gebäude wechseln. Von einem 4er Dorm in ein 12er Dorm, aber wenigstens ohne Bettwanzen. Das Personal war nicht mal eine Sekunde überrascht über die Bettwanz...

Definitely worth paying a little bit more for somewhere better. Staff were all a bit strange, got given a key card when none of the doors even locked? Bad smell everywhere and you will not want to use the toilets and showers. The whole thing is a bit random, no where to be social, alright location though.

Location okay, rooms okay. The bathrooms are very dirty and look nothing like the pictures. No social atmosphere at all. There are better places to stay in Chiang Mai for that price

I only slept here for half a night before my flight. I did not feel safe in the region around the hostel and the hostel also had a weird vibe (mostly because I only met one person despite the hostel being huge). It was fine for a night but there are better ones for a longer stay.

Es Hostel precio calidad! La gente que nos atendió divinos!

Had a lovely time in this hostel! The owners and so lovely and accommodating, room was everything we needed and provided with a towel! Such a perfect location close to lot of things! Definitely would stay here again!

The staff is wonderfully helpful and beds are very comfortable. Nice place to recharge and close to street markets for food.

The property is good and also closer to the Moat of Old Town.

Everything was good but it was very hot in the room till 8pm then aircon was on but took a few hours to cool down Other than that good value

I loved this hostel. Cheap, central, free coffee, curtains, and the sweetest owner ever. He literally makes you want to come back, just a sweetheart. One of the best hostels, for the price, I’ve stayed in.

Our first hostel as a group. The family that run it are very friendly and can’t complain to much about overall stay.

Very nice hostel, with a night market just 200m away. The staff are very friendly and approachable. The rooms are ok, as are the sanitary facilities. The negative thing to mention might be that the mattresses are a bit hard, but I managed to get some sleep. And also no soap in the toilets (I had mine, but in the previous hostels I stayed in there was always some. So I thought it was something ‘normal’). Nice staff, very helpful, really no atmosphere at all, and property could definitely do with some maintence, you basically get what you pay for, and close enough to walk into old town and night markets.

Nice location, right by the night market. The staff was very kind and made me feel at home, super convenient being able to do laundry as well.

Wie bereits in Bewertungen gelesen, ist die Vibe dieses Hostels etwas komisch. Sauberkeit und Ausstattung könnten auch besser sein. Ich würde auf jeden Fall nicht mehr dort übernachten und nur für eine kurze Zeit bleiben.
