- there was a fire in the toilet in the water heater

- Das Frühstück war im Gegensatz zum üblichen Angebot in Thailand echt klein, wenig Obst, lieblos und mager. Am letzten Tag hatten wir schon ausgecheckt, aber das Gepäck noch im Hotel gelassen, da unser Flug erst nachmittags ging. Als wir unser Gepäck abholen wollten, sagte man uns, dass die Fernbedienung für die Klimaanlage aus dem Zimmer fehlte. Wir sollten dafür 500 Baht bezahlen. Wir haben daraufhin unser gesamtes Gepäck noch vor Ort ausgepackt. Die Fernbedienung blieb verschwunden. Letztendlich haben wir das Geld unter Protest bezahlt und uns über den Umgang sehr geärgert.

- The shower température was irregular

+ The property is in a great location and accommodations were comfortable. Issue came when we were checking out so be mindful.

- unnecessary and excessive laundry charge - The issue is not just the charge itself but the unprofessional, rude, and downright threatening manner in which the situation was handled by the staff. This situation stemmed from a bath mat and hand towels with makeup and sunless tanner on them (both of which are washable). The staff claimed that the linens items could only be washed by hand—which seems entirely unlikely—and, when we offered to rinse them ourselves, they insisted that the linens must be sent out for cleaning—at a cost greater than our one-night stay. Having been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, I find it astonishing that a hotel would claim to hand wash towels and linens, and even more troubling that guests would be treated in such a rude and disrespectful manner.

+ The three girls on reception were incredible and we thank them for all their help. Breakfast was super tasty and they made us a box to take on tours which was great and really yummy.

- It’s such a shame our overall experience here was tainted because of something so minor. The hotel offer white towels to guests in their room and ours after a long day got a bit dirty. The hotel tried to charge us £40 even though they were ripped… to replace them which we refused. In a show of manipulation the manager made the staff pay for them (I did pay half as a show of good will as the towels absolutely weren’t dirty after bleaching) If you do not want to cover the costs of maintaining a hotel, do not provide guests with white sheets and towels as they will get dirty. Shame on the manager for this!!!! Wouldn’t recommend based on being fleeced for money.

+ Breakfast was very nice and the staff were exceptional. Location was close to Market and Restuarants. Garden area was lovely.

- Room was very noisey we were at the front and you never got any sleep until about 3 in morning. Water wasn’t hot enough for shower

- Hôtel vieillot, fenêtre qui donnent sur un mur, la climatisation bruyante, pas de rideaux occultants on est réveillé par le jour, équipements salle de bain non entretenu, pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre. Rapport qualité prix insatisfaisant.

+ The location is great — close to the Wua Lai walking street and there is a morning fresh market near by. Simple and basic accommodation yet clean. Staff were lovely and willing to go above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

- It is on a pricier side. It is either the property location itself or the location of my room — it was very noisy at night and early morning and made it hard to have a restful sleep.

+ Great central location and character. Excellent value for money.

- The bed was on a platform and in a recess in the room so the only way to access it was from the end of the bed. Not so convenient if you need to get up in the middle of the night. Also, snacks would have been handy along with the pm drinks.

- Le seul problème a été le fait que les taxis de l aéroport ont eu du mal à trouver car Google map envoie ailleurs quand on met le nom de l hôtel

+ The location was great, the breakfast was very tasty- arguably the best coffee we had while travelling in Thailand, beautiful furniture and very friendly and accommodating staff.

- I personally found the mattress very firm but other than that everything was great.

- As has been typical in our Thai accommodations the bed was rock hard and the pillows are hard.

+ This is one of the best places we’ve stayed in SE Asia. We came here after a rough stay in a different guest house and it was dreamy. The staff are lovely, beautiful garden to sit in and comfortable, clean rooms.

+ Eine Wohlfühloase mitten in der Stadt! Zuvorkommendes, herzliches Personal; geräumige und gemütliche Zimmer. Zu meinem Geburtstags gab es Kuchen mit Kerzen vom Personal - nochmals von Herzen DANKE🙏😘

+ We only had one a night as we were traveling between cities, but the location was great in the old city and staff was very welcoming. They even made us breakfast to go on our departure since we had to leave early in the morning

+ The staff are fantastic and the location is brilliant. We loved the garden space for a few drinks in the evening.

+ Beautiful little guesthouse (with a great wine list!) Incredible staff and so friendly. Great location, sometimes a little noisy in the front rooms but they kindly give you ear plugs, not that we used them! Amazing breakfasts included in the rate!!!

- Just a suggestion that the management could train their staff on how to open a wine bottle :) plus red wines don’t need an ice bucket! Being a caterer it’s just a thought!

+ Staff were lovely and helpful, room was a great size, bathrooms were great, and hotel is in an ideal location for exploring the old town and South.

- Location was slightly noisy at times, perhaps just my room that caught the worst of scooters in the morning.
