Solo female would not book this place did not feel safe would not recommend

My items were removed from my solo room and we confirmed my room for two nights. The staff thought I had "checked out" but who would check out and leave everything in the room. This wasn't 1-2 stray items this was a pile of laundry, my entire suitcase, all my gear and tech, basically everything I didnt carry for my day's adventure. They did nothing to make it better or discuss how they would prevent this in the future. The front door didnt close properly. And the shower was clogged.

Room was pretty small and had no windows, felt like a prison and the common room wasn't much better. Only one shared bathroom for everyone.

The place felt more like a prison cell, no windows in the room, very uncomfortable beds and pretty terrible facilities. The staff were rude, asking us to move beds after our first night because they’d given us the wrong card and insisted on us all moving around. There was a few very unsafe characters roaming round the place, with a few local wrongens who frequently stay in the hostel. It was relatively clean, however I will never stay here again

My room had bed bugs.

they charged extra amount. on app the price is 20.5$, but at counter they asked for another 29.91$. till date customer care is unable to answer why there is discrepancy in prices physical vs app.

this hostel and this city are waste of time

While the beds were clean and as far as I can tell the facilities are bed bug and roach free, The floors were gritty, The carpets dirty, several areas clearly boarded up not in the we are upgrading way but the we aren't going to bother way, And the poor kitchen cupboards were a mix of broken drawers. On top of this, In my three bed dorm there were only two outlets. It's 2024. There should be at least one outlet for every bed.

wish there was more lable stickers for food, but other than that had a good time there.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The facilities were great, I never had to wait to use the kitchen/bathrooms. It was the perfect place for my two night stay

Great little hostel for a family of 6 travelling (with 2 children age 7 & 10). Doesn’t look a lot from the front but has everything you need! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything. Staff were really helpful ok check in and throughout. We were near the door at the back, so was a little noisy when people came through the door. Two good kitchens and a lovely balcony to have a view of the local area

C'est peu entretenu mais c'est propre. Ça m'a l'air bien situé mais je ne faisais qu'une soirée étape. C'est sécurisé avec carte magnétique. Il y a un parking gratuit ce qui n'est pas négligeable.

Hostel war okay, es hatte alles was man braucht. Die Atmosphäre war jedoch eher nicht so gut, kaum Gemeinschaftlichkeit. Das Shared Badezimmer war eher so semi sauber. Küche war in Ordnung. Betten leider ohne Vorhänge, eigene Ladestation oder Stauraum. Für eine Nacht in Ordnung, länger würden wir hier nicht bleiben.

I stayed at this backpackers for 3 night and it was realy good , only issue I had was a couple coming in at 2 am and talking all night till 8am when they left

Good place to stay for a couple of nights however the bunkbeds were very creaky and made a lot of noise when you moved and the mattress wasn’t super comfortable. Clean, good location and facilities, pretty quiet.

Definitely a good cheap place to stay for a night. The staff were friendly enough. But the building was pretty dingy. The bathrooms really smelt of mildew, the furniture in the lounge was super old falling apart and the kitchen wasnt the cleanest either.

A very happy experience. The facilities were clean, secure, with friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance from the central Transport Centre and local buses. I would return

okay für eine Nacht aber nicht mehr.

ok. here is my honest review from staying there one week. I stayed in a private. Now this place offers social housing for low income, EXPECT to see locals living here, as well as backpackers. I had an instance where one of the full time guys living there tried to sell me hard drugs, when I said no. I was followed out of the building and down the street. bathrooms are okay and kitchen is okay. the common room is quite large. staff is friendly.

No curtains or outlets in the bunk if that’s a dealbreaker. The mattresses are very squeaky so the other girl in my room and I woke each other up a lot through the night with small movements. Thin walls so doors and some walking heard from inside room. clean and good for one night. Personally wouldn’t recommend Hamilton at nighttime as a female traveler but the day was ok and the Hamilton Gardens are worth the trip. Unisex bathroom was very clean along with common spaces. Not very social.
